ToolGuyd Cleanup Giveaway #4: Dewalt Oscillating Multi-Tools + Extras

Jan 10, 2018 Stuart

If you buy something through our links, ToolGuyd might earn an affiliate commission.

Dewalt Oscillating Multi-Tool Giveaway Prize Bundle

One lucky winner will get new Dewalt corded and cordless oscillating multi-tools! I gave away my test units a while back, and am not sure where these duplicates came from. They look like they’ve never been used!

I should update my “best cordless oscillating multi-tool” guide, as it came out 4 years ago. But, based on my past and current experiences, this 20V Max brushless oscillating multi-tool is still one of the best. It’s ergonomic and a decent performer.

The only downside is that the tool-free blade change mechanism changes to a hex-bolt design if you want to use non-slotted oscillating tool blades or accessories. But, on the bright side, at least it’s a universal design. Dewalt could have limited it to their own blades, and similar slotted one, but they didn’t.

Sorry, you only get one accessory box. They’re bulky and the second one won’t fit in the shipping box. But, I did cram the other accessories in there, except for the sanding pads, which the winner will still get.

Accessories are readily available via Amazon, and it actually looks like Dewalt has been expanding the lineup with new styles. It’s a good time to own these tools.

The winner will also get a small Dewalt level, EZ Lock pliers that I bought (from Harry Epstein Co?) but never reviewed because I don’t like them much, and 2 Craftsman mini pliers.

Notes:

Some of the tools have been in deep storage. The rubbery grip material has bloomed and needs a good cleaning.

Batteries and charger are NOT included.

By entering the giveaway, you acknowledge that the tools will be provided as-is, and with any risks or safe-use responsibilities falling to the winner.

Since most tools are designed to be bumped around inside a tool bag, packaging will be a little sparse, so as to pack as much as possible into shipping boxes.

I am surrounded by DeWalt 20v tools and have the corded Porter Cable OMT that uses the same blade system (and a lot of the pricey carbide blades). I would love to add a cordless option for some cuts around the property and would be happy to have a second corded one too. Thanks for the awesome giveaways!

  31. Brandon

    Jan 10, 2018

Corded AND cordless?! Very nice. I know someone who already has a couple batteries that could use the cordless version, and replacing my $20 Harbor Freight version that gets hot enough to the touch that I’ve dropped it would be wonderful. Not to mention that sweet sweet quick release…

  32. Mark J

    Jan 10, 2018

i am part of the 20V dewalt line-up and the cordless oscilating multi-tool would be very helpful. I am just starting work to finish my 1,500 sq ft basement and i can think of many instances when this would be useful.

  33. M Farewell

    Jan 10, 2018

This one would be the hardest for me to personally give to friends that are new homeowners and are doing remodeling. But they are just building their toolboxes so it would make sense for them to get this. Plus I already have the Bosch 12v OMT…but it would still be awesome to win!

  34. Derrick Hunt

    Jan 10, 2018

    Jan 10, 2018

I’ve recently gone all-in on Dewalt cordless and the oscillating tool is on my short list, if not next. I’m sure my parents would love the corded one, unless it is significantly more powerful and I can justify keeping both…

It would be nice for cutting door jambs.

  42. Noah

    Jan 10, 2018

I have the Bosch corded OIS tool, I bought on a great deal (thanks Stuart for posting it), just after Bosch came out with the new starlock system. I’ve got one of those incredibly crappy Harbor Freight oscillating tools. The thing just about shakes my hands apart every time I use it, which is infrequently because it’s so irritating to use.

I’d love a better designed alternative.

  122. DeeEyeWhyyyy

    Jan 10, 2018

I’ve got the Milwaukee oscillating tool and I’m not super impressed. This would give me a chance to try out the DeWalt one to see if its better.

    Jan 10, 2018

I have only used a m12 multi tool on site and this would really give me a chance to experience how much more efficient a m18 can be.

    Jan 10, 2018

I’m going to be replacing flooring and trim throughout the house. The oscillating tools would come in very handy

    Jan 10, 2018

I currently have a number of Dewalt 20V tools and this would be an awesome addition!

  129. williamo

    Jan 10, 2018

I’ve used the M12 oscillating tool and while nice, sometimes it’s underwhelming for the jobs I’ve tackled. Could really use the Dewalt version…

  130. Tim McGrew

    Jan 10, 2018

I have been looking at a multi tool and these are great tools

Oscillating tools are awesome! Been wanting to try one for a while now!

  137. David C.

    Jan 10, 2018

Man, these look like a great set of Oscillating tools. Corded for bigger projects and a corded to hang on the garage wall for smaller tasks.

  138. CHRISTOPHER HORAN

    Jan 10, 2018

I would finish adding more outlets in my shop! (Currently only have one useable)

  139. Adam

    Jan 10, 2018

We use oscillating tools a lot at work and I have not purchased one yet so this would be awesome.

  144. Thomas Reece

    Jan 10, 2018

Wow, everybody loves Dewalt, right? Count me in.

  145. Tom Walker

    Jan 10, 2018

I’ve hovered over an oscillating drill display more than once, but never pulled the trigger. Please save me the indecision.

who does not need more blades and sandpaper?

  147. Jason S

    Jan 10, 2018

Would like to give a good Dewalt tool like this a house to remodel.

  148. HiggiML

    Jan 10, 2018

I use my buddy’s OMT probably more than I should 🙂 Winning this will make him happy.

  149. JD Bilodeau

    Jan 10, 2018

sander would be good for finishing the garage update

  150. Rock Hound - (J.Sutter)

    Jan 10, 2018

I would keep the corded and give y best friend the cordless. I would use the corded tool for the flooring and trim work I need to do for the house projects I need to do.

  151. AlexV

    Jan 10, 2018

I use the Dewalt’s 20V max tool system but I don’t have their multi-tool, so it would be a nice addition to the tool lineup.

  152. Jim Muncie

    Jan 10, 2018

I’ve never had an occilating tool. Dewalt makes good stuff, so I hope I win.

  153. ChachiJS

    Jan 10, 2018

I can definitely use one of these for my new house!

  154. David Salvador

    Jan 10, 2018

I’m certain that I can find something useful to do with an oscillating tool if I get my hands on one.

  155. Jjrbeaudoin

    Jan 10, 2018

Those things are great for drywall work

  156. Tim

    Jan 10, 2018

Would finally give me the motivation to finish the baseboard replacement project in my house.

  157. Adam

    Jan 10, 2018

I’m dying for a cordless multi-tool. My corded harbor freight model is still going, but it sure would be nice to use something that was designed with ergonomics in mind! Not to mention cutting the cord for quick repairs at the rental and around the house and I could give that harbor freight model to my nephew.

  158. Ken W

    Jan 10, 2018

Hoping to replace a few stolen tools for brother-in-law and any extras would be kept for a future kid’s tool loaner program I would like to set up.

  159. Gary

    Jan 10, 2018

Dewalt’s OMT is brushless … count me in.

  160. darryn j laitinen

    Jan 10, 2018

    can’t go wrong with Dewalt

  161. MOSH

    Jan 10, 2018

Now I’m a pretty big Dewalt fan and and having longer run time (unlimited) is never a problem for tile removel

  162. Joseph

    Jan 10, 2018

These are the kind of tool that I haven’t needed too often but are awesome when they are needed. I would give the cordless one to my dad since he is in the Dewalt system anyway.

  163. Scott J in Boston

    Jan 10, 2018

I dream of cutting square holes out of plaster-and-lath without loosening the lath.

  164. Neil

    Jan 10, 2018

Do not currently have a multi tool. These giveaways are very cool!

  165. michaelhammer

    Jan 10, 2018

I love this multitool. It’s noisier than the fein, but it has the easiest and fastest blade change on the market. Because I use a work trailer, I often duplicate tools for home use. Would love to have this for projects around the house.

  166. Mystichrome

    Jan 10, 2018

Just bought my first home and am doing a renovation, the multitool would be a great tool to have.

  167. Daniel Janczur

    Jan 10, 2018

Already on the DeWalt 20v platform, would like to give a multi-tool a try!

  168. n144sh

    Jan 10, 2018

Add to the yellow tool collection

  169. Ken Sutherland

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d use these on some flooring projects I have to knock out

  170. Nolan M

    Jan 10, 2018

Cordless multi tool would be nice!

  171. Mahalo

    Jan 10, 2018

Currently have a 12V OMT from other mfg., but my other cordless tools are DeWalt 20V and the 12V OMT isn’t cutting the mustard. It would be awesome to add the 20V yellow OMT to the stable and the accessories help, too!

  172. Andrew

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d use these to complement my existing dewalt 20v max tools. Also would be great for work.

  173. brian gainer

    Jan 10, 2018

I have a tile project coming up and this would be perfect for molding so I can slide the tile underneath

  174. Andrew

    Jan 10, 2018

A multi-tool would be a good addition to my collection.

  175. Matthew Shull

    Jan 10, 2018

It would be great to have another oscillating tool on the trailer, and this is the best one out there for cordless and corded for all we have put ours through. It would be great to have another one for another guy on the crew to have on him at all times to do everything with. We break out the fein corded from time to time, but we love the Dewalt version so much better!

  176. Craig T.

    Jan 10, 2018

These would be perfect for my current project.

  177. Patrick

    Jan 10, 2018

This would be an amazing upgrade from my crappy harbor freight multitool, I have had that thing for a year and it’s about to fall apart.

  178. Derek 1005

    Jan 10, 2018

Would use the OMT for various tasks on volunteer projects to help my local community…the cordless OMT would compliment my o 20V set…mighty nice of ya to hook us up!

  179. O'Shaughnessy

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d give one of these away and keep the other, then split the sanding pads between us. I’ve wanted an OMT for years now, and the DeWalt 20V one gets great reviews. They just sound so -useful- for random house projects.

  180. Cory Graves

    Jan 10, 2018

I have been eyeing up a multi tool for awhile, would really help at work and home.

  181. Tom H

    Jan 10, 2018

Every time I need to use an oscillating tool (usually in a quick pinch) I end up borrowing my father-in-law’s harbor freight model, and then I tell myself I need to buy a decent one ASAP.

This set will allow me to share one with him as a thank-you, and prepare me for the next odd job as well. Win-win!

  182. Jeff Montanari

    Jan 10, 2018

I have so many little projects around the house that I could use this on, just haven’t been able to pick one up yet.

  183. Forest

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d share one with my sister, and the other one would be added to my growing aresenal of dewalt tools, that I use around the house for various projects.

  184. Lukas

    Jan 10, 2018

Because oscillating tools are super useful

  185. Cody

    Jan 10, 2018

I live in an old house where electrical outlets are scarce and nonexistent outside. The cordless one would be very useful.

  186. Adam

    Jan 10, 2018

Dewalt is one of my favorite brands! I have been looking at a for a oscillating tool

  187. Bryan

    Jan 10, 2018

  188. CaseDawg

    Jan 10, 2018

    These look nice!

  189. AB

    Jan 10, 2018

Would be great to add to the DeWalt collection

  190. Brent

    Jan 10, 2018

Great gift for my friend remodeling a house to do undercutting of doors.

  191. Joel

    Jan 10, 2018

I spend 2 days every week working as a volunteer facility maintenance trainer. These tools would get much use during these training sessions.

  192. Will Ligon

    Jan 10, 2018

Own oscillating multitool is getting worn out so this would be nice.

  193. Geoff

    Jan 10, 2018

Either multitool with tool free blade changes, say hello to convenience!

  194. Jason. C

    Jan 10, 2018

The dewalt 20v system tools are what i currently run. I am missing the oscillating tool from my collection and have been waiting for the right price/sale for them to come up so i can pick one up. This giveaway opportunity would be perfect for me because i would put the tool to immediate use on my home. I have a few exterior upgrades/renovations that i have planned out.

    Thanks for hosting this toolguyd.com!

  195. Jim

    Jan 10, 2018

These would definitely go to mom’s house. I have a few Dewalt tools there.
Then I can bring back home my Fein multi-master and accessories.

The pliers, there might be negotiation about them. 😉

  196. Nathan L

    Jan 10, 2018

I have no need for the Bosch collection but I would love a better multi tool than the terrible m12 model, while the cordless one would go to my brother in law who bleeds yellow.

  197. Wbrzo716

    Jan 10, 2018

Multi tools would be awesome for cutting in electrical boxes.

  198. Guy

    Jan 10, 2018

The oscillating tool will be perfect for the foreclosed home I am renovating with a friend. I love all my DeWalt tools and the versatility of the 20v max system.

  199. ninja68

    Jan 10, 2018

I would want to win this because I have the original underpowered dremel multimax and needed more power for my projects.

  200. Dustin Lewis

    Jan 10, 2018

Would like to add this to my Dewalt collection.

  201. J. Kyle

    Jan 10, 2018

This is something I’ve been eyeing for some time. It would be useful for the upcoming flooring project I have on my house. I’ve already got over a dozen of the 20V’s but do not have the Oscillating tool.

This site has been such a huge help over the years. Thank you!

  202. Chris

    Jan 10, 2018

Would be great for a new project I’m about to start expanding our boiler room into part of the garage.

  203. Henry H.

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d love to have one of these for the “odd” jobs around the farm, or for those hard to reach places. Seems there’s things that can only be done with an oscillating multi-tool (or it at least does the job of many niche tools in one device).

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  204. Dave M.

    Jan 10, 2018

Great for floor repair work. Water damaged floors from frozen pipes are no good. A lot of that type of damage to deal with due to the recent coldsnap along the east coast.

  205. Doug

    Jan 10, 2018

Would love to replace my cheapie masterforce oscillating tool. Also, looking to get some dewalt 20volt tools anyway, so this would be a good complement. Thanks, Stuart!

  206. Brian Jones

    Jan 10, 2018

I bleed black and yellow. I have 20v tools, so I have plenty of batteries. Thanks Stuart

  207. Nathan S

    Jan 10, 2018

What didn’t you like about the EZ Lock pliers? They look like vise grip clones. Anything special about them? I wouldn’t mind trying them out.

I actually have a Craftsman oscillating tool from 5 or so years ago that I like quite a bit: very useful tool, but I’d probably keep the DeWalt and pass on the Craftsman.

  208. James Ramirez

    Jan 10, 2018

About to tackle a pantry rebuild project, these tools would definitely be beneficial during this remodel.

  209. KeithinKC

    Jan 10, 2018

I love the oscillating tools. I would like to try out the dewalt versions!

  210. Paul

    Jan 10, 2018

Interested in this bundle because I’ve always wanted to try dewalt. Now might be my chance.

  211. corey wuertz

    Jan 10, 2018

Would love to give these a try!

  212. toolio

    Jan 10, 2018

I had a cheapie multitool and ran it into the ground. Found that a battery one just does not last that long for scraping old paint and odd sanding jobs

  213. bigiron

    Jan 10, 2018

Need these! Don’t have any oscillating sanders and Dewalt stuff is good.

  214. h11m1vn

    Jan 10, 2018

Never had an oscillating tool and would like to try these out.

  215. Mathieu

    Jan 10, 2018

Oh, I’ve got some projects coming up where I could really use one of these to make some clean holes in baseboards and drywall!

  216. Robbie

    Jan 10, 2018

I would build a gun rack for my step sons nerf guns.

  217. Justin

    Jan 10, 2018

I don’t have an oscillating tool. This would be a nice addition!

  218. Randy

    Jan 10, 2018

I’m fully set up with 20v (and FlexVolt) DeWalt tools. The 20v oscillating tool would make a very handy addition to my arsenal. Thank you!

  219. jeff palm pools

    Jan 10, 2018

love these tools, my work truck was stolen in 2013 and a got the truck back minus all the tools, then got cancer so could not hardly work could hardly afford new tools bought a few harbor freight tools, but these dewalts are the best,
don’t make much money anymore so cant buy quality tools anymore, plus the lung cancer gets me to out of breath so I cant much work done anymore, but I love your site and wish I had all the tools I gawk over, my utility body on my truck is big and the tool boxes are mostly empty so these dewalts would be great

  220. Daniel

    Jan 10, 2018

I almost bought these a couple of times but never could justify, these would make so many projects easier.

  221. Victor

    Jan 10, 2018

I don’t have an oscillating tool. And I like yellow.

  222. Daniel Higgs

    Jan 10, 2018

Oscillating tools come in super handy in the marine repair industry and I’ve had one on my list of tools to buy for WAY too long!

  223. brad

    Jan 10, 2018

These dewalt oscillating multi-tools would be pretty handy for working on the house.

  224. Stephen Grosse

    Jan 10, 2018

I have dewalt tools from work, this multitool would be a great replacement from my first Ryobi that I still use when making furniture as my hobby.

  225. Daniel

    Jan 10, 2018

I keep a Dewalt set in my work truck and was actually looking to buy one to add to the toolbox. Hope to win !!

  226. But it’s me!

    Jan 10, 2018

More goodies for my offspring if I am lucky.

  227. Sam

    Jan 10, 2018

Tools would be a big upgrade… but the locking pliers? Never seen anything quite like those before.

  228. david urban burke

    Jan 10, 2018

I’ve used these before, insanely helpful!

  229. Rexamis

    Jan 10, 2018

i would mostly want the plug in multi tool and i would give the battery one too my dad as he already has dewalt

  230. Sammy

    Jan 10, 2018

The multi tool would come in very handy as I have a flooring project that I’ve been putting off.

  231. Thi

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d like to win this to give to a friend who could upgrade his current Harbor Freight multi-tool.

  232. Aaron Langley

    Jan 10, 2018

I was looking at buying some of the ez lock pliers, excited at the chance to win some. I would keep the corded oscillating tool and try to find a home for the 20V max model as I don’t have DeWalt batteries.

  233. John Walsh

    Jan 10, 2018

I’m already running 20v max tools so it would be a good addition to my lineup. We don’t have power outside of the house so it would keep me from having to running a cord out the kitchen window and getting into trouble ha.

  234. Scar

    Jan 10, 2018

I have a 12v multitool, but have strongly been considering getting a 18 / 20v for notching stud walls.

  235. Akbar

    Jan 10, 2018

Never used tools like these before. Would love to try them out.

  236. Gary B

    Jan 10, 2018

planning to put down some flooring in a bedroom so this would surely come in handy

  237. HarrisM

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d keep the battery one and donate the wired on to the theater department at a school I work for.

  238. Terry

    Jan 10, 2018

I would like to see what the fuss is about oscillating multi-tools, I’ve never used one

  239. King Nikon

    Jan 10, 2018

I could use an oscillating multi-tool for a lot of situations to make a nice clean cut over a sawzall.

  240. Andy

    Jan 10, 2018

I had a fein tool at one point, but the switch failed/ was repaired numerous times until I just grew tired of the hassle. I’d be curious to try another brand…

  241. JeremyM

    Jan 10, 2018

Some sweet pieces. Borrowed the 20v one from a nail bender the other day and it beats my wore out Dremel one!!

  242. Brad B.

    Jan 10, 2018

I love Dewalt but i don’t have these yet. Thanks for the chance at winning these. Would be a great addition to my other tools.

  243. David Black

    Jan 10, 2018

The corded oscillator. I burned up my HF one!

  244. Matt

    Jan 10, 2018

Trying to get started on some projects. Would have no excuse if I had these.

  245. KenT

    Jan 10, 2018

My toolbox needs more yellow & black.

  246. Art

    Jan 10, 2018

Oscillating tools are great and I could use a cordless one for tight access restricted spaces without a power source

  247. Joel Spangler

    Jan 10, 2018

my oscillating tool doesn’t have quick change and I don’t have a cordless option – this would solve both of those issues.

  248. Js

    Jan 10, 2018

Would be a perfect addition to my holiday gift set

  249. Brandon L

    Jan 10, 2018

I don’t have a multi-tool but have heard a multi-tool can make your life much easier.

  250. Chris Hackbardt

    Jan 10, 2018

It would compliment my existing Dewalt lineup and inspire me to continue emailing you when i find good deals on tools in the future.

  251. Adam

    Jan 10, 2018

I love oscillating tools! I was working on a family members house and I forgot my oscillating tool so I borrowed the neighbor’s Dewalt oscillating tool. It was way better than mine. However I can’t talk my wife into purchasing one when I already have.

  252. Cheyne Tobin

    Jan 10, 2018

Perfect re-gift for my father-in-law and his current remodel.

  253. Eric

    Jan 10, 2018

I am huge fan of the dewalt Oscalating tool and mine feel off of staging this fall and have not replaced it yet

  254. Michael Eibling

    Jan 10, 2018

I’m hugely invested in Big Red tools. Bit I don’t have an oscillating cutter. This would be really handy for fixing floors and trim.

  255. Milo

    Jan 10, 2018

Oscillating tool is the one gap in my tool box. I have gotten and return a multi Mac twice because reviews are always so varying. While I have gotten away with this toll till now. I know I am testing fate with how much longer I can go without one and will be stuck or end up with a less the desirable result.

  256. An

    Jan 10, 2018

These would be handy for DIY repairs/projects around the house.

  257. Kdoug

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d like to have these Dewalt tools so I can compare it to the Bosch oscillating tool I own. I could see the cordlesss one coming in handy. I’d give one of them to my grandpa since he just upgraded to Dewalt cordless tools.

  258. ACC

    Jan 10, 2018

Would love these and a perfect combo to share!

  259. SYoung

    Jan 10, 2018

My buddy has these tools and says they’re the best

  260. Kurt

    Jan 10, 2018

Because a better oscillating multitool is always useful.

  261. Peter Olsen

    Jan 10, 2018

My Dad is losing the ability to work safely with saws, so I’d love to give this to him so he can keep chipping away on projects around the house for my Mom!

  262. Chad Brink

    Jan 10, 2018

I’d love to add a corded oscillating tool to my mix. The extra blades and sanding pads would help the bottom line too. Thanks Stuart for your generosity!

  263. Brad Copeland

    Jan 10, 2018

    Who wouldn’t want these tools.

    Thank you!

I would like to win these to use on my old house and to teach my son and daughters how to use tools as they work on school projects and their own inventions.

    Jan 10, 2018

I finally bought into the dewalt tools this year from my old Craftsman stuff and have been looking for a good deal on the oscillating tool. My current Dremel one is on it’s last leg.

  268. Dust

    Jan 10, 2018

I’ve had my eye on that DeWalt 20v for a while. I’m tempted to work with that or the Milwaukee version but the DW is brushless.

Airborne dust becoming a bigger deal everyday, I’d love to upgrade to a better oscillating tool to get more material removed while still being able to keep the dust down.

  269. Geoff

    Jan 10, 2018

Like Chance above, I’m a Milwaukee guy and my father uses Dewalt. I’d surprise him with these. I know he doesn’t have either of these models.

    Jan 10, 2018

As a cabinet punchlist guy I have to work in homes under construction that thd power is not on yet. My company gave me dewalt tools and so I already have the platform. I cannot afford a cordless multitool right now and need something better than the handsaws I have go use to cut back trim or framing to install components. Just today I had to install a dishwasher return and had to cut the base molding back to fit it against the wall. Quite a chore. I really need a cordless multitool. I own a couple of Fein multimasters but they dont help without power.

    Thanks for the informative site

  271. Alex T

    Jan 10, 2018

I actually just want the mini pliers. They look really nice.

  272. Mike R

    Jan 10, 2018

This prize would be a great to see how it could be used for wood carving. I might want to actually want to finish a carving that I start.

  273. James

    Jan 11, 2018

I currently have a Bosch mutli tool that is fairly good but it’s a bit to much of a beast. The DeWalt cordless with its finger switch is the most comfortable unit to use. Having the ability to go from almost off to full speed using your finger is also a huge deal compared to dial controls everyone else uses. Multi tools are one of the most used items behind the drill/driver and I tend to “barrow” on of the guys DeWalt far to much.

  274. Robert

    Jan 11, 2018

Have wanted to be an oscillating tool for years but could never justify the purchase. It would be awesome to win these so I could finally see what all the fuss is about.

  275. RinolR

    Jan 11, 2018

Actually if I’d win this I’d give it away to a friend who lost his and I’d probably keep the corded on for some trim work that needs to get finished around the house.

  276. Mark

    Jan 11, 2018

Would be a great gift for a friend who only uses yellow tools!

  277. OBDave

    Jan 11, 2018

In on this mainly to re-gift to a co-worker who’s building his DeWalt cordless collection…

  278. Nick W.

    Jan 11, 2018

One tool I thought I would never buy as an independent contractor….. the multi tool. Don’t know how I did various projects without it. Would love to compare the Dewalt to my rockwell sonicrafter that has been replaced twice in 2 years.

  279. DML

    Jan 11, 2018

The cordless one would round out my 20V Max collection and I’d love to pass the corded version on to my dad. Both would come in super handy on some upcoming projects.

  280. JamesC

    Jan 11, 2018

I have a Milwauke M12 multi-tool that works relatively well, but a short run time depending on battery used. A corded multi-tool would offer flexibility for tougher jobs.

  281. Kyle

    Jan 11, 2018

Love the oscillating tool concept. I have a been wanting to try it out. Thanks for doing this. Your site is the first i visit each day.

This would help out with the unfinished jobs I have around the house. Thanks

  284. Wade

    Jan 11, 2018

I have an inexpensive multi-tool that is used quite a bit. It would be nice to move up to that DeWalt! Plus I could share my old one and possibly one of these with my sons! I cannot believe how useful oscillating tools are!

  285. WingMantis

    Jan 11, 2018

My dad likes Dewalt so I would definitely give one of these to him. Not sure he has an oscillating multi-tool so this would be a nice gift.

  286. Jeremy

    Jan 11, 2018

Because when they stole all my tools, they got my two fein corded oscillating tools, which I relied on frequently, I’ve not tried any dewalt tools in the last few years and am curious about what improvements they’ve made.

  287. David k

    Jan 11, 2018

Don’t currently own an oscillating tool so it’d be nice.

  288. Jon

    Jan 11, 2018

Corded oscillating tool would be handy.

  289. Eugene

    Jan 11, 2018

This would be a great replacement for my aging Craftsman Nextec oscillating tool. I found my Nextec tool to be weak for some of the projects and the batteries run out quickly.

  290. Chris

    Jan 11, 2018

I have had one of this on my list for a few years now and would love to finally have it in my collection of dewalt tools. I have 20volt and corded.

  291. Mike

    Jan 11, 2018

This would be a great start into the Dewalt line for me!

  292. Bill Strobel

    Jan 11, 2018

Would like to win this package of tools to check out the quality of Dewalt tools.

  293. Nosmo

    Jan 11, 2018

OK, this one does have me excited, especially because, first, one of the oscillating tools is cordless and, two, I almost exclusively use DeWalt stuff and as a result I HAVE BATTERIES!!

Corded oscillators are great for jobs requiring extended cutting, but I’ve used mine (a Bosch) in places where the cord was, well, I actually ran out of four-letter words once to describe the hassle (and that time when one of the extension cords came disconnected while I was in the attic I invented a few new ones….). Cordless, though, a spare battery – carefully placed wthin reach before you climb between the trusses – makes Mr. Frustration go away. So, yes, excitement at this one, almost 9-year-old, Dec 24th excitement. Just let me know and I’ll go stand next to the mailbox and wait for the package (which I can do now that the mail carrier’s restraining order has expired again).

By the way, any word on that 175 PSI 80 gallon compressor giveaway? Not that I’m impatient or anything, but I am still wiping up leaking compressor oil….

  294. EPH

    Jan 11, 2018

I’m a total DIY guy and an oscillating tool set has been on my wish list for a very long time. I have furniture and trim projects galore and will put these to use immediately! 297. Peter F

  298. Benjamin Rivera

I have mostly all dewalt tools except for those two, they look handy!

  299. Ron

  301. Jordan S.

  302. Joe N

    Jan 11, 2018

I would like to try the DeWalt multi tools .

  303. Norm Huizenga

    Jan 11, 2018

I would like a better one than my Nextec. It’s ok, but I’m have a lot of panel cutting for outlets and grout work to do. It would be nice to get one that doesn’t rely on battery.

  304. Shawn Mogy

    Jan 11, 2018

This tool would definitely be useful from all the house projects i did this year without a tool like this

  305. Ken

    Jan 11, 2018

I have a crappy cordless one I dont really care for and I struggle with. This one looks very nice. Also would be nice to have a corded one for those times that you want the power and dont want to worry about batteries.

  311. Brad

    Jan 11, 2018

I need an oscillating multi-tool, so I’d definitely keep the corded one. The cordless I’d give to my father since he has bought into the dewalt line for his business.

  312. Mitch

    Jan 11, 2018

Big fan. Always checking in to get the latest tool news. This would be a perfect addition to my up and coming tool collection. Just moved from a condo to a house. Wow. Tons of work. My 1920 Bungalow needs some wood siding replaced. The tool would allow me to reach between boards and cut nails, etc. — Thanks.

  313. Dustin

    Jan 11, 2018

I’ve been wanting an oscillating multi-tool but haven’t pulled the trigger as of yet. This way I wouldn’t have to!

Our DeWalt multitool died on us and we haven’t been able to replace it.

  316. Addison Pettis

    Jan 11, 2018

Yes please! I think this is the best qd system. There are not a lot of yellow tools that I can honestly say that, but this is one (2 versions) of them.

  317. SaskiFX

    Jan 11, 2018

This would replace the dremel version of these tools I currently have.

  318. Matt Holland

I’ve started building our new home and this would come in handy!

  319. Edward Sichler

    Jan 11, 2018

Not for me but for my oldest daughter in Austin who is big DIYer. When she was home for Christmas she talked about wanting one of these for some projects she has in mind in the new year for her patio and backyard as well.

  320. JohnRoscoe

    Jan 11, 2018

Have been on the fence about corded vs. cordless, this would be a great solution to picking one!

  321. Steve M

    Jan 11, 2018

Oscillating multi tools are the best solution for cutting notches in 2×4’s for shelving… and my basement needs more shelving!!

  322. Mahkook

    Jan 11, 2018

A cordless occ. tool… Yes! I already have the batteries for this and there is that gap in my tool bag just perfectly sized for this to finish it out. And the corded one would go live at my apartment building for maintenance. Perfect!

  323. Adam M.

    Jan 11, 2018

I dont have an oscillating tool, so these would be welcome

  324. John W

    Jan 11, 2018

I’d love to win this because I am a former oscilating tool doubter. I borrowed a friends at his insistence and have now seen the light! It would be worth listening to him poke fun at me whenever he saw these tools or me using them if I could have not only 1 but 2! Thanks for hosting these give aways!

  325. Brian

    Jan 11, 2018

I’m on the verge of buying this, but i rather save our money for backyard landscaping (which i will be installing myself to save money).

  326. Paul K

    Jan 11, 2018

I have a corded multi-tool that i don’t like, always a pain to get out for small jobs. Cordless handy for that. And i have like two attachments cause i’m cheap and only buy for the job. Having some would be sweet. Hope i like the ez-locks more than you 🙂

    Jan 11, 2018

I need a new oscillating tool to replace my broken one.

  328. Chastity

    Jan 11, 2018

I have wanted and needed an oscillating multi-tool since I started monkey’ing around with home improvement and maintenance projects a few years ago. I am addicted to all aspects of trades now and would totally utilize these in all areas! I am working on plans for my own work shop/area and would use these tools for multiple projects I’ve planned in 2018 here are a few: removing old grout, some drywall cutouts, a couple doors I have, removing some trim/molding, smoothing and sanding base boards, interior cabinet cutouts to run some electrical boxes, some outdoor irrigation/ plumbing etc. I would love to add both of these to my limited tool collection. Awesome giveaway btw!

  329. Andy Ringsmuth

    Jan 11, 2018

I’m a die-hard Dewalt fan and would love to add these to my small but growing collection in the garage!

  330. HV

    Jan 11, 2018

The cordless DeWalt OMT was 1 of 2 final contenders for when I bought an OMT. Ended up with the Milw. M18 but I still wonder if I’d been happier with the DeWalt…

  331. Jeremiah

    Jan 11, 2018

trying them out in home depot I agree with you that these are much more ergonomic than other brands. Having a cordless omt would greatly increase my use of one for quick, off jobs. And having the corded is nice for extended work. I want one with some form of quick change head. Haven’t used one enough to justify buying yet but having s quality tool in regular rotation will probably change that.

  332. MDJ

    Jan 11, 2018

The wife and I are just starting a project to remove all of the carpet in the house and replace it with laminate. These would be a great help in this project. Would love a chance at these 🙂

  333. JHStan

    Jan 11, 2018

I would’ve picked up the oscillating multi tool + a circular saw had I not miss the Dewalt DCK299 with the two free bare tools bundle. The OMT would be handy for many projects, especially when I start my bathroom tile project this summer.

  334. Dana Kilner

    Jan 11, 2018

I would give one to my brother and the other to my dad and keep the pliers. Neither of them have one of these and they are so useful.

  335. Mike

    Jan 11, 2018

That corded one would go in my kit to help me tackle some built-ins that I have next on my project list. The cordless would go to my brother, as he uses Dewalt batteries.

  336. Chris Gutierrez

    Jan 11, 2018

    Woah,

2 tools, millions of uses. I enjoy finding new uses for oscillating tools, and would love to move to a cordless unit that matches up to my 20v max tool set.

The corded version would make a great housewarming gift for my brother in law

  337. Matt W.

    Jan 11, 2018

Since I already have a multi-tool, I’d be happy to donate these tools to my church for use on the mission trips we take to aid disadvantaged families in rural Virginia! Thank you for the opportunity!

  338. Eric Bachelder

    Jan 11, 2018

This is the best most versatile tool. I would really like to have the corded option.

  339. Paul

    Jan 11, 2018

These would be great for an up coming project. I had them on my Christmas list but they didn’t make the cut (pun intended). I love the site and the reviews.

  343. Emil Barci

    Jan 11, 2018

I have a handful of home renovation projects such as flooring and trim/moulding replacement to complete. The oscillating tool bundle would save me so much time which I could spend browsing the toolguyd.com website!

Never had an oscillating tool, but would like to try one on my bath shower grout repair,

  347. Luke T.

    Jan 11, 2018

The 20v multi-tool has been on my want to purchase list for a few months now. I have a normal hand drywall saw I use when cutting in new outlet boxes and what not around the house on varying tv hanging projects. I saw a youtube video on someone using the multi-tool to cut outlet boxes in and I was so pumped for it I about peed myself. I regret not jumping on the Black Friday deal for one….

  348. Dave in VT

    Jan 11, 2018

Same comment I posted to other recent giveaways: I had to recently give up almost all of my tools (extreme sadface!) when I moved across 8 states to take care of my aging in-laws. I’ve started re-collecting tools that my father in law didn’t already have. I could definitely use these to make the garage into a shop!

  349. dogdaysindurham

    Jan 11, 2018

    Hi Stuart,
As a poor grad student, the oscillating multi tool has been on my wish list for a while. I have a project with converting some oak logs into an outdoor end table that this tool would be perfect for!

  351. Matt Roberson

    Jan 11, 2018

I’m heavily invested in the Dewalt 20v line, so this is just icing on the cake. Thanks for all the giveaways!

  352. Michael

The DeWalt tools have a great reputation so I would be psyched to have any of the tools offered in this giveaway!

  353. Nick B

I’d use the oscillating tool to refinish my stairs.

  354. tcmault

  356. Alan Wood

    Jan 11, 2018

I really need an oscillating multitool but have been reluctant to pull the trigger on one!

  357. Jeff

    Jan 11, 2018

These would make excellent replacements for my Tool Shop corded and Nextec cordless multi-tools. And it would get me to finally grab the DeWalt 18V to 20V adapter kit that I haven’t needed until now.

  358. Diamond Dave

    Jan 11, 2018

And who wouldn’t want a multi tool from Dewalt? Count me in!

  363. Robert

    Jan 11, 2018

I have seen these in use on youtube but never could pull the trigger and buy one. As a woodworker I think this might come in very handy for some intricate design and inlay uses to my projects.

  364. Zhenchok

    Jan 11, 2018

I would love to win these tools because I like how these Dewal tools are corded. I like the level and the craftsman hand tools. I would use them to remodel my basement project that I am working on. Hope I win, thank you for the opportunity.

  365. Greg

    Jan 11, 2018

  368. Gordon

    Jan 11, 2018

I’ve got some finish work to fix on our apartment before we move out. This would help a lot in making it look right (unlike the hacks that did the finish work in the first place).

    Jan 11, 2018

the Dewalt cordless oscillating tool is the one tool I really want still missing from my 20v collection.

  371. Bradley Hanstad

    Jan 11, 2018

A year back harbor freight had a $5 coupon deal for getting their cheapest oscillating tool. While it has saved me a few times, it leaves a lot to be desired in a tool of it’s function. Having not only a corded but a cordless higher end model oscillating tool would be amazing. I tend to work on a lot of last minute, quick fix projects when it comes to building Battlebots/ Combat Robots and props for media. Thank you again for these giveaways.

  372. Bryan

    Jan 11, 2018

My dad gave me his Dewalt 20V tools a few months ago when my wife and I moved into our new house. We had a ton of projects we were taking on and the oscillating tool will come in great use for the upcoming flooring projects and redoing the main doorway as the wife wants some different door and you know a happy wife makes a happy life 😉

    Thank you!

  379. Mark

    Jan 11, 2018

These would be great for some trim work I am planning around my house!

  380. Adam

    Jan 11, 2018

We’ve got a few DeWalt 18V tools at work, and this would be a useful addition. Right now we’re using my (corded) Fein OMT, but I’d really like to be able to take it home sometimes…

  381. john

    Jan 11, 2018

This is the best reviewed oscillating tool… besides fein likely but still…. best “budget” oscillating tool?

  382. Chuck

    Jan 11, 2018

    I’d help a friend with a drywall project/repair.

  383. Dan

    Jan 11, 2018

I’d like to win these Oscillating multi-tools. I currently don’t own an OMT at all and since my drill/driver is a Dewalt, the cordless OMT would be nice, especially with the sanding pads.

  384. Steven

    Jan 11, 2018

Just bought an old row house and I know this would come in handy replacing the flooring.

  385. Mark

    Jan 11, 2018

I would love a decent multi-tool. I have a $20 cheapo from, I hate to admit, Harbor Fright (sic). I would off-load that to my son’s classroom where I occasionally do minor projects to improve storage, etc.

  386. Ed Northway

    Jan 11, 2018

I would like to get the set of Dewalt oscillating tools so I have corded/cordless that take the same blades!

  387. Matthew

I love the convenience of an oscillating multi-tool. The only one I have is from Harbor Freight (it gets the job done and is by bar the best value in the store). I’ve already got 20V DeWalt tools and not having to take an extension cord to the tight spots I end up using these types of tools is amazing.

    Jan 11, 2018

I’d love to try the cordless and corded back to back on some projects I have coming up. Thanks!

    Jan 11, 2018

I don’t have any Dewalt tools yet so I’d love to try some out. Plus I don’t have an oscillating tool.

  390. Boris Ioffe

    Jan 11, 2018

I have a green one, which is a fantastic tool. One thing that would make it more useful it must be cordless.

  391. Bret

    Jan 11, 2018

My Craftsman oscillating multitool stopped working so I would like to replace it with the corded Dewalt. My dad has some Dewalt 20V tools but no OMT so I would give him it. I would like to try out the pliers, too because I often find myself needing different sizes or styles.

  392. kylem

    Jan 11, 2018

It would be a nice addition, I currently use my 12v OMT to cut openings for remodelers electrical boxes in plaster and drywall. I’d like to use the corded version for tile work.

  393. Sean

    Jan 11, 2018

Oscillating tools are great! I keep looking at the cordless DeWalt to continue to expand my DeWalt tools!

  394. Dale Ianni

    Jan 11, 2018

I love the DeWalt brand. The only oscillating tool that have is from H-F. It’s okay but it would be nice to this “monster”

  395. Eric. H.

    Jan 11, 2018

    Jan 11, 2018

I want to win because what cant you do with an oscillating multi-tool? also, i could give the corded one the secretly jealous buddies that poo poo the tool.

  398. Matt

    Jan 11, 2018

A NFP I help out with could benefit form the portability of the cordless tool.

  399. Jason

    Jan 11, 2018

I started my Dewalt 20v collection this past Christmas – first cordless platform upgrade in 10+ years. The oscillating tool would be a great addition to my collection!

  401. Jose

    Jan 11, 2018

Remodeling, DIYing and fixing things will be easier with these tools. I’ve used the multitool before and its so nice.

  402. IJK

    Jan 11, 2018

These would make perfect late xmas gifts for a couple friends of mine. the cordless one to a buddy that already has some 20v dewalt, the corded one to a coworker was clueless about the things in the first place.

  403. htxclf28264

    Jan 11, 2018

Been wanting an oscillating multi tool for usage in some cabinet revenovations after they were flooded by my AC unit.

  408. Matthew Mills

    Jan 11, 2018

Dewalt makes nice tools and this would get a lot of use for almost all my projects.

  409. John Sullivan

    Jan 11, 2018

Why do I want to win? Well, the tools WANT ME TO WIN! They are begging to be taken off the shelf and put into MY hands.

Seriously, I have yet to be seriously disappointed in a Dewalt tool. But my current oscillating tool, a Rockwell… it’s okay but … well, it’s not great. (I’m trying to be nice.) So my Rockwell will be donated to a makerspace and I’ll keep the Dewalts. I have a 20v charger and battery pack, so even the cordless should see some use.

And why would I want the EZ-lock pliers that even Dr. Stuart doesn’t like? Well, BECAUSE they look so damn awkward, of course! Maybe I’ll love them, like a pet pug, or a goldfish with those under-eye blisters that render them completely incapable of survival in the wild. Somebody has to love them, so why not me?

  410. Joe Pietrykowski

    Jan 11, 2018

I’ve never had the opportunity to use an oscillating tool.

  411. Ryan

    Jan 11, 2018

This would definitely be in upgrade over my current multi tool.

  412. Rafael Ram

    Jan 11, 2018

    Jan 11, 2018

I would love to have this. I’m a electrician, and this would be very handy for work, I would use it every month…it wouldn’t just sit in a toolbox.

  422. Shannon J

    Jan 11, 2018

I would probably split this with my wife for her tool kit.

  423. Jason Greenberg

    Jan 11, 2018

I’ve been using other tools to work around my lack of OMT for a while now, but with a few house repairs involving small-area sanding and cutting — and a new kitchen floor — on the horizon, it’s time to get one. Having both corded and cordless would be a real luxury!

  424. Daniel Jacobsen

    Jan 11, 2018

I could really use the oscillating tools

  425. RM

  431. RD

    Jan 11, 2018

I need this tool specifically because my wife forbids it. A few years ago I tried “juggling” this type of tool. Oops, off to urgent care, where my wife the nurse, had to show all the nurses how klutzy her husband, the woodworker, is… the “expert” woodworker… a few stitches, and much embarrassment was worth it. We still look on that evening as one of our best date nights ever.

  432. Timothy

    Jan 11, 2018

I’m direly in need of an oscillating tool for some projects I have coming up, nothing major. I love my other dewalt tools,

  433. Tim K

    Jan 11, 2018

I really like the quick tool free design of the dewalt. Also the only thing better then an oscillating multi tool is a cordless one.

  434. Michael Weleski

    Jan 11, 2018

I have been wanting to get an oscillating tool to use in my shop. This would be a great help in my woodworking. Also, it would be nice to try out the quality of Dewalt tools.

  435. Travis Roberts

    Jan 11, 2018

I would love to Dewalt oscillating multi-tools and levels too. They would add to other dewalt tools. I would love too use them for projects around the house. I dont have any powered multi-tools and I wanted to get one last year.

    Thanks for give a ways
    Great website

  436. Grant Smith

    Jan 11, 2018

I really appreciate that you are taking the time, and effort, not to forget the expense to do this.

I have used a multi tool before and am a big fan of their versatility. I’ve also already invested in dewalt 20v packs so this would fit well with my existing tool. I frankly use the tools for my own builds as well as helping others, friends, family, co-workers etc. with theirs.

    Happy New Year

  437. Simon Medisch

    Jan 11, 2018

I have a really weak porter cable cordless multi tool, a dewalt one to go with my normal tools would be great.

  438. mattd

    Jan 11, 2018

I do not currently own an occilating multi tool, but I hear great things about them. I would like to try one out.

  439. Jake

    Jan 11, 2018

WHAT THE HECK ARE THESE USED FOR?? Just Kidding, oscillating tools are on my short list to get next. Just not sure which way to turn. Winning these would head me in the right direction plus make up my mine on what 18/20v system to start investing in next. I have a Milwaukee 12v system but sometimes it’s just not enough power so I’m comptemplating what higher voltage system to go with. My neighbor says Dewalt so we can share tools and stuff…..I think he just wants to take advantage of my good nature ? Anyway, these would be great tools to start with in the oscillating nature. If I don’t win, could you use your connections and get Milwaukee to upgrade their 12v oscillating tool??

Thanks for all the great reviews and information.

  445. Jon Yoder

    Jan 11, 2018

I would love to win this bundle! It would be put to good use during upcoming home remodeling projects.

  446. Josh A

    Jan 11, 2018

I would love to add these to my Dewalt tool bag, as a handyman, the has been my platform of choice and is serving me very well. I love my OMT tools and it would be great to get some more accessories for it. I would share the 20V tool with my Dad who really would like to get one and keep the corded one for myself as there are times when cords are better than cordless. Like when you are doing a whole floor of tweaking doorways for a flooring retrofit.
