This Craftsman-centered giveaway prize bundle comes with 12V Max Nextec tools, C3 19.2V tools, a bonus Irwin stubby screwdriver, and Stanley FatMax 10″ ratcheting adjustable wrench.
The Stanley FatMax ratcheting wrench is… not my thing. But maybe you’ll find it useful.

It would be great to have a 2nd set of cordless tools, I have a vacation property and it would be nice to have a set of tools to leave there so i don’t have to bring my primary set back and forth.
Greg B
while these probably aren’t as exciting as the Bosch or Milwaukee 12V tools, I’d still be happy to have them. I’m sure they would do everything I would ask for them and then some. Maybe it’s silly, but I’d be pretty excited about the stubby screwdriver-I have a handful of bit-driver type screwdrivers (full size), and a handful of stubby screwdrivers of various types, but I’ve never had one quite like that.
Patrick
I would probably throw these right in the trash. Hopefully others have had better luck with the Craftsmen Nextec line. :-p
Here’s to hoping for the Bosch 12v stuff!
Brandon
My Dad really likes his C3 set, those 18v tools could go to him. Not so sure about the 12v…
Andrew Q
I don’t have any 12v tools, but I’d put the compact tools to good use for furniture assembly.
Matt
Like the Bosch and Milwaukee sets, I’d like to give a set of 12v tools a try and compare to my 20vs
Christopher Plank
I would love to have these tools to finish my project list!
Craig
I would leave these at my father’s house. He has no tools and I’m always annoyed every time I visit and realize I either have to not fix something or spend money on the tools in addition to the piece that needs fixing.
Brian
Would love to try out a 12V lineup for portability, mobility, and access.
Justin D
Same as before, Looking for a good set for my Mom.
Henry
I think the Nextec system is surprisingly innovative.
PB
same as #2 and #3, Would love to use these working in tight confines or when you are trying to reach something but the weight of a full size tool would be difficult to control or hold.
Id also like to try out that wrench, it seems stupid, but if it saves time it is worth it.
DC
I’m in, thank you very much!
drmoomoo
I think I’m the only reader on this site who still uses C3 tools regularly. My current C3 drill’s chuck is starting to get worn down so I was thinking of moving to another system, but this would save me from doing that for a couple years. Never used the Nextecs before, but I’m sure I would find a use for them.
Vorononkov Stanislav
I wish this bundle so hard that my hands are trembling while I’m writing this post. 🙂
Rod Norton
I have a few of the Nextec tools. The flashlight and multi-tool are awesome, the drill is junk. I don’t have the hammerhead thing. I have plenty of batteries to power these…. 😉
DC
I’m in, thank you very much! I could use tools in my office since I work on projects during my lunch break. I forgot to include why in my earlier post, please delete it. Thanks
Ryan M
Would love to get into the 12v world, work in some tight areas.
Cody Zinker
These Craftsman tools would be great for projects with my daughter. All my tools are too big for her tiny hands!
A W
I have a 12V drill, and it’s held up pretty well over the years. I’d put this to use.
Howard M.
I have several Craftsman C3 tools and would welcome these to my collection. Thank you.
Matthew Schulz
Those tools would be a nice addition for DIY projects at home.
Eric Buck
These tools would make a great small bag to do quick jobs with
Kevin T
I would find the C3 tools useful.
Jehremy
This would be a nice set to keep around the house for lighter duty DIY projects and repair work.
Brian Lamb
need to update some of my C3 tools
Kunhan Lee
i’d leave these under the kitchen sink for those times when you don’t want to go to the basement for the real drill
Dan
A coworker has a Craftsman right-angle impact that has proven indispensable, these look like they’re worth a try!
And I can never have enough of those darn stubby screwdrivers around!
shade barrett
i would give these to my grandfather who uses craftsman cordless tools, his are getting old.
GKnap
I really want to try out the pivoting-head hammer.
GMA15R
Assuming I don’t win any other tools, these would be divided up between my son and two sons-in-law who each just bought a house. It would teach them the value of good tools and the necessity of sharing. But the oscillating tool stays with me.
Marcus
I have c3 batteries and this impact wrench would find some uses.
JMP
I too, am interested in the 12v tools and also have some C3 batteries so these tools would find a fitting home with me for sure.
Callum
These would be very useful around the house!
MacLean
Would love to try Craftsman tools. My drill has gone missing…maybe this will inspire me to get organized.
Tom
Man, you have a lot of power tools! I am devoted to the nextec line, and could always use a backup set.
Lenny
These would be useful on our home remodel project as well as car repairs that I sometimes need to do with my adult children. I have encountered bolts working on the cars that the ratcheting wrench would come in handy for.
Jerrod
Look like handy tools to keep in the house for projects.
Mopar
Same as the other cordless contests. 😛
I’m simply floored how many “extra” power tools you have and dont use!
Scrapman
Ugly tools and somehow I still want them.
Kevin L
my Dad loves his Craftsman.
DeeEyeWhyyyy
Would love to give these as a gift to family members in need of tools.
Drew
Looks like a great starter set.
Chris F.
I think it would be helpful to have a second set of tools available. I’m also eyeing the stubby screwdriver, but am too cheap to buy one for myself.
Sparky Apprentice
The irwin stubby would really be interesting to use, they always look to large for my liking. Not sure about the drills, would probably be a ok in home set.
Eli
For some electrical work.
MNBska
To gift to extended family, as they Always borrow my tools.
Wade
Love Craftsman tools. Can’t get enough.
Tim McGrew
I need a new 12v screwdriver and impact driver and the price is great on these.
Chris
These would go to a friend who needs some cordless stuff for his first set
Derek
I could really use a cordless impact wrench.
Adam
This would be a great tool set to use around the house!
David E.
I was looking at cordless impact wrenches this past weekend, that would be awesome to have for working on my vehicles
David Creeden
The 3/8″ impact wrench would be awesome to complete my C3 collection. I don’t even think you can buy that one any more.
I would probably give away the Nextec stuff since it would be hard to find a battery and charger for those items.
markmo56
This would be a great set to leave at my cabin. Sure would beat hauling tools back and forth.
Reddeye
Great tools to have around.
Thomas Reece
I could always use more Craftsman tools. Nice package!
David Funk
this i would pass on to a friend with both of those platform.
Patrick H
Even with the imminent demise of Sears, I would not turn down Nextec, have heard good things.
AlexV
I would give these to my son as his first set of power tools
JD Bilodeau
can always use more c3 items
Rock Hound - (J.Sutter)
I am in the Milwaukee 12v line, so I would need to get some batteries and then put these all in the STEM Club tool bin for the students to use.
Jim Muncie
The good news is, I’m one of those poor souls who bought into the craftsman c3 line. So I have plenty of batteries!!! An extra drill would be awesome, and if I’m seeing correctly, that looks like a 3/8” impact, which I don’t have. Send it my way!!!
GP
nice set for around home use
Mahalo
I would really like this kit for my wife to use when she does her craft DIY where the more powerful 18V tools I have are overkill and also cumbersome/inconvenient. At least this is what I tell myself. 🙂 haha.
Jjrbeaudoin
Those would make great back up tools for me. Some people think that new Craftsman is Chinese junk, but I still think they are a good fit brand
Ken W
Hoping to replace a few stolen tools for brother-in-law and any extras would be kept for a future kid’s tool loaner program I would like to set up.
Adrian
I already have a few Craftsman Nextec tools and these would be perfect to expand my collection.
Joseph
These would be a great gift for my brother. I could use the hand tools myself.
Adam
These would be great for the wife and great for the woodshop. It’s always nice to have your tools where you need them and if she ha d her own I would too!
MOSH
An adjustable wrench and stubby screw driver and maybe would buy craftsman battery as a bigger loaner set probably not.
THANKS
michaelhammer
You know, I’ve been quite intrigued with that nailer for years. I would love to give it a whirl. Also stubby screwdrivers are wicked handy.
Mystichrome
This would make a great gift for my girlfriend’s sister who just bought her first home and own’s literally no tools.
Patrick
This would be good as a backup tool set. If your main tools were to every konk out this would be great to get you by and plain and simple just gets the job done.
Jeff Montanari
Always am looking to expand my arsenal of tools! Thanks for the contest.
Elliott W
I am super hype to have a chance to win the full-size drill and impact. I have some 12volt tools that do me just fine, but recently I have found the need for full-size 18volt tools.
Joel
2 days every week I volunteer to provide facility maintenance training. These tools would enhance my training sessions.
Adam
I would give these to my sister
Lukas
I do need a right angle drill
Will Ligon
Pivot head hammer could be useful.
Jason C.
These would make my life a whole lot easier when working on my cars and when visiting family to work on their cars as well. The portability is what sells the tools to me. Way more compact than 20v systems.
Craftsman always makes good stuff. I have tons of sockets and wrenches from them.
Thanks for hosting this giveaway toolguyd!
ninja68
I just bought my wife a craftsman 12 volt jacket (that uses the nextec batteries) for Christmas with extra batteries, yet have no nextec tools. this in addition to the other tools would help as most of my tools are corded
Henry H.
Could really use a set of these at work. We science teachers always seem to have some idea for a project that needs sanded, cut, screwed, drilled, etc., but never have the tools handy, and have to remember to bring personal tools from home.
I’ve heard good things about the C3/Nextec.
Thanks for the Giveaway!
Nathan S
I have a C3 set (including the drill driver pictured) which is ok. Wouldn’t mind adding the impact wrench to it for some lighter duty auto work. The nextec stuff would probably go to my wife, but I’m a little concerned about finding the batteries, since it seems Sears has abandoned the line. The right angle driver would be useful for pocket hole screws, although probably the Ridgid is better (with the supported battery line and its shorter profile).
bigiron
I will certainly find uses for the FatMax wrench.
corey wuertz
Would love to give these a try!
h11m1vn
I’ve actually been wanting to try that stanley adjustable wrench.
brad
These look like pretty good tools and would be a good replacement for my current drill that is dying.
david urban burke
Free craftsman? Sure!
Thi
I’d like to win this to gift to my brother-in-law who just purchased his first house and will need a power drill.
Aaron Langley
If I won these Craftsman tools I would give them to my father in law as he already has to tools and batteries. I’d keep the Irwin stubby and try the wrench, but I can’t imagine I’ll like it.
Akbar
Cool tools. Starting to work on cars recently. Having these tools will help
King Nikon
Great set to leave at the house to for lighter duty work. These just won’t cut it for the daily abuse my Milwaukee Fuel tools get every day.
Brad B.
I could use these for home and auto repairs. Nice set of tools. Thank you.
Matt
Buying a home and what a help having these could be to cover whatever projects lie ahead.
Art
The right angle driver and versatile driver set is great for general diy
An
Yes.
Joe S
I just moved back home from China, and I am moving into my first house with a real workshop. These tools would be really helpful for getting my shop up and running.
Milo
Set would be a great secondary/interior tool box set. My wife and often would benefit from have a smaller power tool set up inside. The set would keep my wife away from the general tool stirage and also provide quick caress for myself when a more power tool is overkill.
Robert J Masek
i would use these tools to put my life back together. I like the compactness of the nextec tool. too bad they stopped supporting the line.
ACC
Cool stubby. Curious if the craftsman tools have improved since my old 19.2V’s.
SYoung
Versatile set of tools
Kdoug
Not particularly fond of Craftsman power tools, but heck if I won it I wouldn’t turn it down.
Peter Olsen
My son is getting old enough that he wants his own tools to do “projects” I started with a craftsman cordless set when I was his age and this would be perfect for him!
Chad Brink
hmmm…. good luck to everyone!
Kurt
I have the batteries for the nextech and the c3 will be a gift to someone on that platform.
Alex T
I could use some 12v stuff in the upstairs tool kit. These Craftsman would do nicely.
Mike R
This would be great starter tool kit. Finally getting a house and could make some excuses for power tools.
J Diamond
I have a C3 drill and cannot afford the impact wrench or driver, this would be helpful for repairs, thanks!
Joe S
The first power tool line that I ever bought into was Sears Nextec. My parent’s gifted me the drill you have pictured as my first power tool when I bought my first house. I bought a few other Nextec tools and still use them to this day even though I have quite a few other options to choose from. I have the rare Nextec rotary tool that I use weekly, and I keep the Nextec tire inflator and flashlight pictured above in my car for emergencies. Unfortunately, I killed that original drill that my parent’s bought for me, but it’s actually what brought me to this site when I was researching what to buy next. Thanks for the site.
DML
Always wanted to try out one of those auto-hammers.
Wade
Craftsman has been a staple brand in my garage and these would be nice addition. Having these would afford me the luxury to share with my sons for their projects.
Kyle
I love stubby screwdrivers…and powertools to boot. What s not to like. I thought that nextec hammer was cool when it came out. Could get you out of a tight spot maybe. Thanks.
WingMantis
In for the impact wrenchm the flashlight and the auto hammer. Everything else is gravy!
Thanks for the reviews, always check here when looking for a new tool.
Michelle Ward
I don’t have many power tools. These would be a big help with projects around the house.
David k
It would be nice to have new compact set
Jon
Honestly most interested in the wrench for this one… but I have plenty of friends who could use more power tools.
Mike
Not familiar with these Craftsman tools but would put them to good use
Bill Strobel
Nice bundle of Craftsman tools. Sure would like a some cordless tools for my shop.
avi
dude, there are so many giveaways, I’m like a kid in a candy store
Ron
this looks like an awesome assortment of tools that i would love to have.
Matt
Would love to have these. May be collectors items before too long
Jordan S.
Always wouldnt hurt to have a spare set around!
Shawn Mogy
I need additional power tools for home improvement projects to keep up with the honey do list
jec6613
I’d use these at work mostly, though the impact wrench would be good for taking on the road. The 12V is a much better match to what I’d use in the IT world than the Bosch or Milwaukee giveaways.
Bill Ryan
The impact would be a great addition to my tools. Going to be awhile before I can run air in my garage.
Brad
In it for the Stanley wrench haha, I like unique tools and that fits the bill. I have a friend who isn’t very handy or well off in need of a new set of tools. The drills would be a perfect set for him and the work he does around his house.
DaveD
I’ve already got some Craftsman nextec tools and would love to add these to my collection.
SaskiFX
Extra tools are fantastic, I can keep these at work.
Edward Sichler
These would be perfect my for younger brother whose Ryobi stuff is really showing wear and tear from the last few years. He would love this stuff and it would get use quickly as the do some updates and fixes to his home he wants to sell this year so the family can retire outside of Florida.
Adam M.
cordless tools. Why not. they would get use around the house
Mahkook
I have a good friend who is a craftsman fanatic and would give these the best home possible. He has the batteries already and would greatly welcome this bundle into his garage! Plus I owe him so this would pay off those debts….
John W
I would love to win this set. I have a friend who is invested in the Craftsman/B&D bolt on line so I would give him the 19.2v tools and then the other tools would be perfect for my portable tool kit. Thanks again for hosting these give aways!
Jacob L
These would go great with my existing Craftsman cordless tools.
Matt W.
Great looking tool set! Thank you for the opportunity!!!
Chris Gutierrez
who doesn’t love a giveaway – i still have some 19.2 tools kicking around, this would be a good reason to pick up some new batteries
Eric Bachelder
I would really like to give these a try as well!!
tcmault
I’d like to start my son off with a nice kit.
Sammy
I’ll be honest, I just want to win something.
Brad D
I would give these to my Dad, he already has some C3 tools and batteries. The impact would be very useful.
Jeff
I’ve already got (and like) the Nextec drill/driver and multi-tool, but the light and power hammer would be nice to have. And I just picked up a Craftsman 19.2V charger and battery to use in a staple gun that I found at a thrift store, so I’m all set to use the impact wrench!
Elizabeth Gallagher
I would LOVE to be selected to receive these Craftsman tools for many reasons, here are just a few:
1. I’m a girl in need of a set of power tools for my NEW career in building services/maintenance. (Apartment Buildings)
2. I get made fun of for only having corded tools , you can stop the bullying!
3. I can buy batteries out of my next paycheck (Friday) so the tools can be in use ASAP.
3. I’ll find 250 new subscribers out of shear joy!
Diamond Dave
Previously owned the Nextec Drill and Impact Driver. Decent tools so add me to the entries!
Ben
Great bundle – would be great to have it.
Eugene
I am already invested in to the Nextec line so these would be great aditions.
Zhenchok
I would love to win these tools because I always wanted one of these Craftman power tools, I remember seeing them in the Sears store. I would use them to remodel my basement project that I am working on. Hope I win, thank you for the opportunity.
Damon Eggling
I basically only have a drill at home, these would be a great addition.
Joseph Mandel
I keep my Nextec drill in the kitchen drawer for my wife to use when she needs it. It would be awesome to have a couple more I could make her a full kit she can use.
Bradley Hanstad
These would likely be going to my Father for home use, or a good friend that has nothing in the way of tools. I would have to figure out a battery solution, so if someone else out there already has the batteries covered or is in more desperate need, I hope these tools find them before me!
Mike K
Building a doghouse!
Tony Berger
I’d love to try some 19v power and see how differently it performs from the 12v.
928'er
I have a lot of Nextec tools, but surprisingly, none of these tools – except for the flashlight.
Austen gann
I would love to have more cordless tools. More new tools the more projects I want to start!
john
Hey free is free … who could say no?
scott k
Nice and compact, would fit nice in the tool bag.
Matthew
The 12V tools would be nice to have, especially since you can find the batteries/chargers still. Not too sure about the 19.2V (they’d probably get left at the brewery as beaters if I could find a battery/charger).
Steve
I have a lot of craftsman tools so I’d probably like these and I don’t have an oscillating tool yet.
Boris Ioffe
I look at my kitchens burn mark (on top of the cabinet), and keep thinking I wish I had an angle driver that day 🙂
Sean
A spare set of cordless tools would be nice to have for an on the go tool bag.
Stephen
I’ve been using the same corded Craftsman drill for almost 20 years now. It still works, but as I head into home ownership I am in dire need of a cordless set. Since I don’t have any cordless tools yet, I don’t have any brand restrictions in terms of matching battery packs. These tools will get used for years to come on home improvement projects. I tend to take care of my belongings so they will live a long life assuming there are no manufacturer defects.
Dale Ianni
I love the NexTec tools and C3 tools. It is a shame that the NexTec are no longer available and the batteries are very difficult to locate. That being said I do have some NexTech tools and I stocked up on batteries so I would love to have these tools to round out my current collection. I have a small motorcycle shop that I do work on the side. My work space is very limited; therefore, these tools would round out my cordless tools to help me be a little more productive.
Josh
I’m a graduate student and work on friends cars in my free time who can’t afford to pay a mechanic. These tools would be really helpful when it comes to working on their cars and/or homes, especially since I’ve already bought into the C3 line and have batteries. I’m surrounded by millenials (like myself) who unfortunately don’t know much about using tools and don’t have the money to really pay anyone else.
Eric. H.
would be great for my son to start with.
Eric Hutton
These would go in the car for my wife’s beehive maintenance job
Rich G
I love my Nextecs for small jobs but they are a lost line so having some backups would be great!
Thanks!
Jose
I would looooove this since can use this since I am a poor Mexican dude remodeling a house. Not to mention, who doesn’t need new tools? AmIright.
clayton
I know someone that could use theses and I’ll keep the wrench and screw driver
IJK
the C3 set would be perfect as beaters for my factory job. The nextecs i’ve always heard good things about, so would be nice trying, even if it’s an abandoned line.
htxclf28264
Not sure how good the craftsman stuff would be due to battery replacement, but looks like a nice solid set.
Eric
I have quite a few of those Nextec already (10 or more, vacuum, light, drills, jigsaw, impacts… ) so having some spares couldn’t hurt. I don’t mind the chargers or batteries not being included, I have plenty.
Tim M.
Looks like a nice set.
John Sullivan
I’ve been accused (by a Craftsman fan) of being a Bosch fanboy . I’d love to win this set so that I can put the Nextec 12v tools head-to-head against my Bosch 12v set. (You’ll note that I’m NOT gunning for the Rigid giveaway for this very reason… unless a Rigid fanboy comes along, wanting to duel!) Also, I have an immediate need for the Stanley wrench. So I’ll end up buying chargers and batteries to prove (or lose) a point, but it’s worth it.
Ryan
Perfect for home DIY projects.
Rafael Ram
Dont know how these perform but would be nice to win.
ktash
I own one Nextec tool and have the battery and charger. If I won this, I’d send the prize to my son-in-law and also send him my battery and charger. Thing is, he only has a few very low-end power tools. Because I have to fly most of the day to visit my daughter and son-in-law, I can’t tote my own tools back and forth. But I usually end up DIY’ing a things there, using his tools. If he had these tools, he would probably like them, but so would I, whenever I visit 😀
I’ve thought about getting him other tools in the past, but he might be insulted by that. However, if it were a prize, it would be a different story. Also, as some of us know, once we get used to better tools, it’s hard to go back to lesser ones.
This would justify my buying the Ridgid Jobmax right angle drill attachment to replace the Nextec. Never thought about it before seeing that on the other giveaway for the Ridgid tools.
LEONARD
Would love to have, but can’t afford at the moment.
brent
I’m a new first time home owner with twins on the way with althe t to do around the house with limited tools. Would be great to have this set.
James
Hey I still use Craftsman tools and have batteries for the tools.
Brian Willis
I would love to win these for my son. Thank you.
MV
Same as before, would love to have a set of power tools for fixing things around the house.
Shannon J
I would give them to my wife for her tool kit.
MikeB
I like using these for small projects and inside constrained spaces.
Daniel Jacobsen
I have the batteries, now I just need the tools
Scaryone
Stanley wrench, oh yeah
Gary M Crompton
I have some 19.2 Craftsman tools now so I don’t need batteries. These would help me finish my basement.
Corey
Tools are tools lol I’d love some easy entry into a 12v line to expand on my jobmax, and these would fit the bill worry free to assign to my little boys for helping dad, and definitely be their first tools should they hold up till that day!
Michael Weleski
This would be great to add to my selection of cordless tools for my shop! I’m sure I can even find a use for the wrench.
JOSE ANTONIO
This can help me on my new shop.
Jeff
I could use a pivoting head hammer.
Travis Roberts
I would love to have craftsman tools and they will go with my B&D and dewalt . you can’t have enough tools. It would be great try tools that I have never yo used before.
Thanks for giveaways
Great website
Brad
I have a few C3 and Nextec tools but no impact driver. It will be used to sink screws for my spring deck project.
Jon Yoder
I would love to win this bundle! It would be put to good use during upcoming home remodeling projects.
Josh A
The C3 tools would be given to my younger brother who inherited my Dad’s old set when we upgraded both of our respective tool sets to the Dewalt platform. The Nextec tools would be appreciated by my wife for a capable but compact set of lighter duty power tools for around the house.
