Did you know that there are Victorinox Swiss Army colognes on the market? There are in fact several different scents.
For the first time in a while, I’m writing about a tool-related product for which there is no appropriate “category.” I guess these can be accessories?

I also saw Swiss Army Knife chocolates, but they’re de-listed at the moment, due to not being available.

There’s even one with a bottle in the shape of a Swiss Army Knife.
Some of the fragrances sound interesting. There’s a “Mountain Water” scent that promises “top notes of living air mountain and Alpine rock lichen (moss), a heart of black pepper and cool mint, and a base of sage.
I’ve never tried these before. Father’s Day is coming up, and… I don’t know. Sorry, the only fragrance I wear is Eau De elbow grease, and I make it myself from global and domestic materials.

Guess its a tool. Might help get the job done ?

I would expect to see something like these on an end cap display at Home Depot in December, then 80% off in January.

This isn’t from an old media release from about a month ago, is it?
Stuart
This is from my “cool stuff I saw on Amazon that might be interesting to post about” list.

I have not seen statistics on this – but I think that sale of men’s fragrances (apart from sweat and BO) may have peaked (per capita) in the late 1960’s or 1970’s. I certainly remember the era for having way more commercials for ones like Brut, Canoe, and even Old Spice. But – septuagenarians like me are probably not the target audience for this stuff .
I guess Victorinox licensing their brand name (I doubt that they have gotten into the fragrance business directly) – adds to their revenues from sales of knives, watches, luggage and so on.

I bet that knurling is beautiful close up. I wonder if Stuart could take some really nice pictures for us…

Eau de Toilette. Not sure I want that label on any cologne.

Bought a bottle of Swiss Army cologne circa 2000/2001 from McAlpin’s/Dillard’s, it was a nice smelling scent to wear while not on a job site, I could see this on clearance @ a Big Box retailer post Father’s Day!

And “if” Leatherman got into this kind of cheesy brand extension we could kinda appreciate the name being a part of the fragrance formulation… No?
But SOG? Or Gerber? Ahahahaha.

There used to be one called “English Leather” – maybe “American Leatherman” will be the next thing?

Please don’t tell me there will now be a tool company cologne war. There are enough problems in the world

It makes you smell like a tool.

Kurt
I love the smell of light machine oil in the morning…
Russ
Does it smell like 20 different things?
Stuart
Ha!

Ha! I remember wearing one of these (the original!?) almost 20 years ago in middle school and thought I was so cool. My tastes have changed significantly since then, but from what I remember it smelled pretty decent and different from what the norm was then.
