Where to Find Vintage Tool Logos?

A reader recently asked us for help sourcing vintage tool logos, and since we didn’t have much luck with this, we’re turning to you for help. We’re not quire sure what format he’s looking for, but we’re assuming he’s looking for vinyl decals or something similar at the very least.

After an unsuccessful web search, we sought the help of Papaw, who is well known in several tool and garage forum communities, and also the founder of the PapawsWrench tool forum – a great forum for buyers, sellers, and collectors of old tools.

Papaw told us that vintage tool logos may occasionally show up for sale on ebay, but not often. He also suggested keeping an eye on big time collectors, who may also sell logos every now and then as well. Finally, he also suggested checking with the Mid-West Tool Collectors Association to see if they could assist with the search.

Thank you to Alex for the great question, we’re sure that many tool users and enthusiasts would love to find a source for vintage tool logos as well. Thank you Papaw for your help!

If anyone has any other suggestions, please share them with us via comments, or contact us. Your help will be much appreciated!

Didn’t you mention rose antique tools while ago? Maybe they can help you source some old logos?

One of the first sites I found for historic tools, and a treasure for identifying and learning about tools and their makers is alloy artifacts. One of the many resources you’ll find on this site is a trademarks and logos page.
