If you want one of these snazzy new one-time-tool Woodpeckers squares, you have until Monday to order one. With shipping, the price of a square comes out to about $46-49, which isn’t bad considering its features build quality.

I had been under the impression that Woodpeckers was the only design that featured offset cheeks, but it looks like that’s not the case. It turns out that Incra also incorporates this very useful feature into their woodworking squares as well.
Like Woodpeckers’ squares, Incra’s square is machined from a solid block of metal, eliminating potential alignment errors. Although these Incra squares lack the charm and laser engraved markings of the Woodpeckers squares, they look to be suitable alternatives if Woodepeckers’ version is never reintroduced.
