Worx has come out with some interesting new products for 2014 – the AeroCart, a new multi-purpose cart, and a 20V cordless multi-use grass trimmer.
We checked out the AeroCart and 20-volt GT trimmer, and found them to be quite neat. The designs are a little unique and even unconventional, but they work well.
ToolGuyd has partnered with Worx to give away some of their snazzy new tools to (2) lucky winners. Each winner will be able to choose which of the two new tools they want to receive.

Worx AeroCart WG050
The AeroCart is a nice wheelbarrow, but it’s more than that! It’s also a hand cart dolly that can lift up to 300 pounds. And it’s a plant and rock mover. And an extended cart that can move large bulky items. And a bag holder for when you’re cleaning up trimmings or raking leaves.
Worx’s website does a great way of showing all the ways the AeroCart can be used.
On top of its many functions, the AeroCart is light and with its large wheels and comfortable handles it’s also very easy to maneuver and move around.

Here’s a quick intro video:
Worx 20V GT 2.0 Trimmer and Mini Mower WG160
The new 20V cordless trimmer is part trimmer, part edger, part mower. The wheels are repositionable and not only do they make it easier to use the GT 2.0, they help produce more consistent results.
As with the AeroCart, the cordless trimmer is packed with functions, but the best part is how it’s adjustable to every user. The handle can be adjusted to a length that you’re comfortable with, and the auxiliary handle can be locked in at different angles.
In mini mower mode, the GT 2.0 trimmer is great for working on areas your push or rideable mower cannot reach, but it can also be used as the main mower for smaller lawns.
Here’s how it works:
Why? Although unique sometimes translates to gimmicky, we’re really liking these new Worx lawn and garden tools. Worx did a great job engineering both the AeroCart and GT 2.0 trimmer to be functional and user-friendly.
How to Enter: Leave a comment here, telling us which of the two Worx tools you’d like to win most, and which of its features you find most appealing.
Winner Selection: (2) winners will be selected at random, and each will be asked to choose (1) prize from among the two options discussed above.
Rules: You must have a non-PO Box continental USA address. Entry period ends Friday, June 27th, 2014. One entry per person.
Prize Fulfillment: Worx is supplying the products for the giveaway and will ship the prizes directly to the winners.
But its me!
I would love the Aerocart, especially since someone helped themselves to my wheelbarrow (which was a goofy birthday gift to myself!). Would make hauling stuff around the yard and home so much easier.
Jason
I would love to win the Worx Aero Cart. I have to say that thing looks impressive in all the things you can do with it. I also like that it replaces a wheelbarrow and hand cart too. I have limited space so storing both in the garage is a pain. I already have a Worx GT 2.0 and that is an impressive string trimmer it has plenty of run time and power, and I like how they have it set up to edge too.
Steve Gifford
Aerocart, because I have an echo trimmer and I’m moving soon and could use the dolly.
Mike
The cart would be so awesome. Id use it for moving around bags of soil, large pots and. So many uses. I need one 🙂
Dave L.
That trimmer looks REAL handy-especially if you have a yard like mine with tree roots a mower can’t navigate, flower beds and various other obstacles. Being able to edge EASILY with it would save my back (I use a regular corded string trimmer to do that now and it’s a strain). I happen to own a Worx 1/2″ hammer drill and it’s quite well made and cleverly engineered-like having an adjustable “D” handle angle.
johan v
Aerocart, in need of a dolly and a yard cart, now I can have both in one product brilliant!
rshadd
That AeroCart looks like it could be real handy.
Wayne Taylor
I would love to win the Aerocart. Yardwork, Wood Hauling, Friend Moving, Leave Bagging are all things that I do regularly. This cleaver invention could fit all those bills!
Wayne
mack frost
I think the trimmer would be really neat to have.
Kent
That AeroCart looks fantastic. I’m just starting a full redo on my front yard, with lots of planting, dirt moving, moving BIG potted plants, etc.
It looks really well thought out, and far superior to a wheelbarrow.
MT_Noob
I’d really like to get an AeroCart. I don’t have either a hand truck or a wheel barrow, and this would fill both those needs and only take up the space of one item. It looks like it will actually do the tasks I need it to do.
Frankie G.
The cart plz good sir;) im on here dailey bout 3 timea a day for ur awesome news
Tom
Definitely I would go for the Aerocart. My wheelbarrow just takes up too much space in the garage. I would love to be able to have something that stands upright when not in use.
Brian Garvin
I’d like to see if the wheels on the trimmer can be used to edge my lawn flush with the rest of the yard
Adabhael
I would pick the Aerocart, it would be great not to give room in the shed to both a wheelbarrow and a hand truck. The other uses like rock/tree lifter and trailer hitch mover are a great bonus: I imagine I’d find ways to use them if I had it!
Kevin
aerocart would be great, I’m always moving stuff without help.
Bob K
Worx AeroCart looks way cool! I want one.
Steve
I would like to win the AeroCart. You can’t beat the dual use of a hand cart, and a very stable wheelbarrow!
John G.
Whose leg would I have to hump to get the Worx AeroCart?
Brian
The Aerocart is what I would want. The compelling features are capacity and versatility in the many ways it can be used.
NCD
Aerocart would be greatly appreciated. I can see where this would be very handy around the property. Thanks!!
Ron
The trimmer/edger/mower would work for me, as I need a small mower for a small area – and when we moved last time we left our old mower behind (it was getting rusty and was too big to move).
Daniel Lawson
The cart would work great for me as I have started the outside projects and the combination wheelbarrow and handcart in one wow!
Mike Lisac
The AeroCart. I’m limited by space in my garage, and anything I can do to combine tools is a godsend. Having an uneven yard and plenty of things to go over make those wheels very appealing.
Kelly D
I like the AeroCart because it can lift up to 300 pounds and it would be so useful for all of our yard work.
J Freeman
I like the Aerocart because you can use in the workshop or garage to move heavy items and then out to the yard to do the same. It can also be used at the beach for parties, just add ice and your favorite beverages. When the party is over use it transport your party items back to your vehicle, and back to the garage. Simple…
Henry H.
I’d love to have the trimmer. With out flag lot, L-shaped ranch house, one outdoor plug, and lots of fence line/driveway to work on, a cordless model would be a huge plus (I don’t really like having to deal with gas trimmers, unless I need the extra power). I’ve also never had one that converts into an edger. Probably works a lot better than turning mine on its side (and flinging rocks everywhere!)
Don
AeroCart without a doubt. The boss would love to see all the ‘junk’ I could hall away. Happy wife… :-O
Paul in Leyden
I need the aerocart to pick up all the edge trimmings that are produced by my weed whacker. The aerocart looks like a very clever improvement on the old type.
Eric Sampson
I would love to have an aerocart. It looks like it would move things easier than my current dolly and I could use the features it has that differ from a wheelbarrow including the trailer hitch attachment and plow blade. My wife would love the seat attachment for weeding as well (although she doesn’t know this yet!).
Michael Quinlan
I’d love to put that trimmer to use as an edger – my favorite feature. I’m really tired of holding my trimmer sideways and getting an uneven edge along the sidewalk.
KaHuNaZ
Id pick the AeroCart and give it to my mom. She had a heart attack/bypass last year and is supposed to be taking it easy, but she fell in love with gardening and is always dragging around big bags of soil or plants lately. It would be perfect for her.
Chad
Wow that Worx Aero Cart is innovative to say the least. I would love to win one of those. For a diy landscaper it has many functions. I do not own a wheelbarrow because of lack of space and I always barrow my dads 2 wheeler. This looks like the perfect thing for my situation.
Chad.
Dale
I would enjoy having the GT 2.0 trimmer. I recently had a conversation with some buddies that laughed at me when I told them I was in the market for a battery operated trimmer. They told me that there is no way I can trim a hillside with a battery operated trimmer. I want to prove them wrong with the mower feature…
I also have a garden and would like a trimmer that has precision cutting ability, with the adjustability of the Worx GT 2.0 trimmer I would be able to navigate around the fence line accurately without loss of desired crops.
Eric Baar
Now here is a “tool” that I could really use around the house
in preparation to sell. Worx AeroCart WG050 would be a great
help in all kinds of jobs from cleaning out the garage to
landscaping front and back yards.
Eric
The Aerocart would be awesome. It would let me get rid of the aging wheel barrow I have. And I could get ride of the dolly I have in the shed making room for other stuff.
Travis
The Aerocart for sure. I don’t have a garage and only a small tool shed to store all my tools so I place a lot of value on products that serve double duty. We keep an old trash can out for weeding purposes as well as a wheel barrow- the Aerocart looks like it would replace both in my household.
Gary T.
I would love to win the AeroCart. I happen to be looking for something to help out doing yard work and that can do more than hauling stuff like a wheel barrow. The versatility that the AeroCart offers caught my attention as something that is close to what I was looking for.
Jonathan miller
I’d love to have one and I’ll get one even if I don’t win.
Bruno Aleman
I would use the AeroCart WG050. My favorite feature is the bag holder. I have tons of leaves to rake up in the fall so this would be a perfect addition to help me out. Also the dolly would be great. I feel my dolly is too bulky.
Kevin
I’d love the aero cart to move a pallet of brick to its new location as a fire pit!
Karl Chow
I would love to have the aerocart. It looks very well-designed and versatile. I can see tons of uses in my yard. There are times when a good cart is indispensable and this looks like a fine tool for just those times.
christine jessamine
I would love to win the GT 2.0 trimmer. I love that this works as a trimmer and also as a mini mower. I also love that this has 2 batteries
Jerry
My wife would love the cart for her garden. She finds a wheelbarrow tippy, and the dual front wheels would add stability, and it could double as a shop dolly.
Kevin
The AeroCart looks pretty impressive – especially with the oversized/aggressively treaded tires – I could sure put it to use!
ChrisK1970
I’d love the Aerocart as I can use it to move large quantities of pellets to my basement…. A lot easier than carrying them down stairs. It doesn’t sound like a lot….yeah right….but four tons of pellets is a lot of heavy bags!
Chris
Aerocart is awesome! Id love to use it for its capability as wheelbarrow on my mulch work and the dolly feature for transporting pavers.
Tim K
That cart look pretty neat. we are low on space so a multi function cart looks like it can handle lots of my wifes gardening needs.
James Conklin
Stuart,
Both are nice but the Aerocart looks truly innovative. I like the trimmer as well but some of the features would look tough to actually use. The Aerocart has some unique features that I would use. I how you can pick up flower pots. My wife has a bunch of stone flower pots that weigh around 100lbs. My dolly doesn’t work the best for it but I use it anyway. This would be a nice upgrade. Also, the long length of it looks like it would give you great leverage for any use or user. Overall, I would put good use of this cart. Thanks for reading my comment and submission.
Jeccica Simpson
I would like the Worx AeroCart WG050, because with our huge backyard projects and large vegetable garden, this would help so much! It has tons of uses and makes lifting an hauling dirt, plants, trees, mulch look easy!
Amy Orvin
I like the The new 20V cordless trimmer because it converts into an edger in seconds.
vk
AeroCart – my wife is the garden person and she can’t use the wheelbarrow without tipped it over.
Joseph
My neighbor and I tend to work in our yards at the same time. I have a push lawnmower and he has a riding mower. He has a heavy duty wheelbarrow to haul yard debris and I have a discarded bed sheet that I use to drag debris around. It’s difficult to “keep up with the Joneses”, or is it the Kardashians? Either one, the Worx Aerocart would be a real pleasure to put to work around the yard. It will work hard while I hardly work. And seeing my good neighbor doing a double look upon seeing it would be an extra bonus.
Matt Hayward
The Worx Aero Cart would be a valuable asset in my garage, especially with the limited space I have. I would love the opportunity to put it to good use.
Mitch
I would like to win the aero cart because I don’t have any wheelbarrow and I need one
phil m.
the compact, but versatile cart would be a great addition!
J
Aerocart–looks perfect for small yards!
Travis
I would love to win the Worx 20V GT 2.0 Trimmer and Mini Mower WG160 so I no longer have to trim the edges of my yard and the like with a pair of hand trimmers. My knees and back can’t take much more this summer.
Jeremy Kraut
I own a reel mower which does not do such a great job on weeds and tall grass. I usually mow the lawn once a week to keep up with it. If I miss a week, I find myself pulling out the 100′ extension cord and weed whacker to spend at least an hour swinging the weed whacker back and forth until the yard is manageable again. All this can be avoided if I had a powered mower but I do enjoy the quiet reel mower which I can use early in the morning or when the sun starts to set so I won’t be working in the heat.
Every time I am out there with my trimmer, I always imagined how easy it would be if I had some wheels on it. I would love to win the Worx 20V GT 2.0 Trimmer and Mini Mower WG160 since the two wheels would free me from having to swing the trimmer back and forth to mow the lawn.
Thank you
Ben
Weed trimmer would be a big upgrade over my old Ryobi model.
Art
Definitely the Aerocart as I do not have either a wheelbarrow or a dolly … This is a great space saver and so much more useful for our potted plants.
Beagle Butler
I would love to have the AeroCart. The versatility of it removes my need to have a wheelbarrow and a hand truck, as well as provides capabilities I don’t have now.
jason
Either one would be fine . I would give the prize to my mother because she already has a good bit of product from them.
Dave Law
I’d like the Worx AeroCart WG050. I’m gradually building a modest fruit orchard/food forest and the functionality potential of the AeroCart definitely suits my needs! Looks like I could move some firewood with it too.
Tomas
I’d be thrilled to win the GT 2.0 trimmer, I have a number of areas that slope down and the mower is just to heavy to easily get to those areas. I’m using a black and decker trimmer now but the worx seems very interesting It sure would get some use.
Russell Berger
trimmer would be great to replace my B&D which is good, but batteries don’t last. Already have the Worx 36V Intellicut mower, so this would be gravy.
Dwight Awesome
I would like to win the aerocart. That thing looks pretty awesome. I like that it seems quite stable with 2 wheels.
Damon Eggling
I really like the cart, I live in an apartment but will be moving to a house soon and I think this cart would be very helpful during the move and then also for doing chores around the house.
John
I like that the Areocart would be more stable than my conventional wheelbarrow and more useful than my conventional handtruck. Can definitely see some uses for it around the yard but likely something I wouldn’t buy myself since I already have the other two.
Eric
The Trimmer and Mini Mower WG160 look like exactly what I need. I have a meadow-like area of tall native grasses that need to be trimmed back periodically.
Greg
Oh man, the Aerocart would be so helpful. We just moved into our first house last September and the amount of yardwork that needs to be done is incredible. The bag holder would be a huge help with the three very mature oak and maple trees that flooded my yard last Fall.
Yadda
The Worx AeroCart would be my choice. I have a small urban lot, but I have hundreds of plants including tropical fruit trees and plumeria that must be moved when it gets below 40 degrees here in the Houston area. In addition, I have to move dozens of bags of potting soil and mulch each year as I pot up plants and dress beds for each season. The Worx AeroCart will save hours of backbreaking work because it is more agile than the usual wheel barrels, it is narrow enough to get into every corner of my small yard and it is strong enough to handle even the largest pots I currently own.
Kudos to ToolGuyd and Worx for putting together this giveaway!
Scott O
I have a Worx trimmer and it works great! The AeroCart is what I would like- to help move pavers for a couple of landscaping projects, moving large items around and giving my kids a ride in it. I can think of at least 4 projects that would go much easier and smoother with the AeroCart than my wheelbarrow and cheap hand truck
Chad
The cart would be perfect for my older mother. She has been borrowing my wheelborrow for a few years not to help with her yardwork and gardening. Having the handcart would help her move large potted plants that infest her deck and yard.
Dan
I would love the aerocart. Never seen anything like that its so perfect. I would use it around my house and garden to move dirt and also clean out my garage. Would love to own one!
Ryan
Kegs are heavy and I am lazy…the AeroCart is an ideal solution to both problems.
Tyler
I definitely would be interested in the AeroCart, it would save some space. I can get rid of one of my wheelbarrows and not have to find room for a separate handcart. I’m really liking the capability to attach a hitch ball so I can move my utility trailer around with a little more ease.
Kyle
I do a lot of solo work moving things around my property (and for family/friends), and the AeroCart looks like a great tool that could save space while replacing my old wheelbarrow and hand truck. Would love to add it to my shed.
John
I’d like the 20V cordless trimmer, as the current homelite one I have leaks gas like an Iraqi oil field.
Michael Cruz
The AeroCart looks like a great landscaping workhorse. I like the fact that it doubles as a wheelbarrow and a dolly. That’s quite handy considering you have 1 heavy duty tool with multiple purposes.
Worx is a very innovative brand; I have their leaf shredder and have been pleased with it. Using shredded leaves as mulch and in my compost is great!
Nicolas Filiatrault
I would like to have the Worx AeroCart of it multifunction feature! They reinvented the weelbarrow with this model!
michael veach
the cart looks very useful. i could give my old cart and dolly to the kids
michael veach
the cart looks very useful. i could give my old hand truck to the kids.
John Sullivan
I would LOVE to win the Aerocart… it’s the first multifunction tool I’ve seen in a while that didn’t seem “gimmicky” and would certainly save space compared to my current set of wheelbarrow AND hand truck.
Count me in!
Glenn
I’d love to win the aerocart. With it’s multiple uses, I can now retire my wheelbarrow & dolly.
firefly
Wow Stuart, we would love to win the AeroCart. It is looking mighty awesome. We have a lot of potted plan and this will definitely save my back!
Farid Masri
I watched the video on the AeroCart, and it’s an amazingly elegant solution to several problems that a regular wheel barrow cannot and should be used for. I know, because I have tried them all.
I’d love to have one.
Farid
Oops. I meant to say “….a regular wheelbarrow cannot and should not be used for” . forgot the “not”.
roger diaz
I would really like to win the aero cart after watching both videos. the features that appeal to me the most is the aero cart is more of a universal tool, and is not just a tool focused on lawn care. I just inherited a family home and moved my family in, and it needs tlc in and out. my sons only 6 and my daughter is a newborn, so the wife doesn’t have time to help so I’m burning the candle at both ends. thank you
James
The GT 2.0 trimmer. The flower guard to protect my new vinyl fence.
Bruce
The cart would be a perfect addition to our lawn tools. I can’t remember the last time I had the wheelbarrow out that I didn’t also have my two wheel cart out. No more single taskers!
Mahalo
I have a rather small front lawn, and the Worx trimmer would be a perfect tool for upkeep.
Jim
It would be a tough choice to make. Both tools are impressive. Makes me wonder why no one thought of these before. Wheels on a Trimmer… Seems so obvious! The cart is awesome too! So many functions, so well built, so rugged. Decisions, decisions. I guess the cart would be more useful since it does so many things. I think I have to have them both.
Mongkorn
Aerocart looks really useful! I last herniated a disc in my back planting a tree and a beat up wheel barrow. This seems like it would really let me get more active again!
Trey Sapp
This would be great for moving large quantities of fertilizer and hauling lifeless objects around. And also would be good for my doll, Princess Penelope, to lounge in while I am working outside.
B. Price
The Aerocart is very impressive. I think the family would get a lot of use out of it.
Russ
Cordless trimmer would really be quieter than the noisy gas-powered one I use now
Brian E
The aerocart would rock holding leaf bags open, but I would probably give it to my mom. She would love it.
Chris
The AeroCart because it is something that I would use a lot.
Garry
The Aerocart would be awesome. I am reworking the gardens and adding paths and hardscape. The cart would get a workout.
Michael Woods
I would love to win the Worx 20V GT 2.0 Trimmer and Mini Mower WG160 as we have a fully fenced yard. I love the idea of the edger to get the grass/weeds up close to the fence line.
Ivelisse Woods
The Worx AeroCart WG050 would be my pick as it seems so versatile and convenient.
Daniel Crandall
That cart looks awesome and could definitely help with all of the chores that my wife gives me.
Kimber Janney
I would choose the trimmer; I have 4 wheelbarrows but I’m stuck with a 100 foot cord on my old trimmer. The mower feature would help clean up after my human powered push mower.
DanG
I would love to own the Worx AeroCart WG050. I’m usually moving a lot of garden supplies around the yard and my wife and I would find this very useful in going to dog shows. We have a canopy that need to be moved from location to location every time we have a dog show. With my bad back the Worx AeroCart WG050 would prove to be very beneficial for the wife and myself.
DanO
I’d like to try ou the Worx AeroCart. One problem I have with my hand truck is ‘soft’ items, such as kraft paper lawn waste bags, falling off the left or right side while wheeling them. This looks like it would cradle them and make them less likely to dump.
britt
Need something to move around bodies and the Worx AeroCart WG050 300lb lift capacity would do for most.
Gregory Amundson
I would love the trimmer. I have a lot of oddly shaped areas of my yard that would benefit from this tool. A wheel barrow/hand truck would be dope too!
Will
That aerocart looks great! Could use it to move wood and dirt! That trimmer looks great as well. Can’t stand cords!
Mike Pacce
These are both wonderful products and with the dependability and quality of Worx products it is really hard to make a choice. If I choose th trimmer, then I will end up buying the aero cart and visa versa so I can have both products. Since I am 72 and needing more help moving planters, etc. around, I will choose the Aerocart.
Martin L.
I have always wanted to own a cordless trimmer. It would certainly help the enviroment by using a rechargeable battery versus gasoline.
Rob
The aerocart would be a big help the garden and yard work. Plus, it would be helpful moving stuff in my blacksmith shop.
John
Worx AeroCart WG050
Actually looking for a wheelbarrow atm but this might actually be better
david brock
The Aerocart is awsome, it would replace my handtruck, wheelbarrel, tailer mover, yard cart and my back for moving the rocks with the sling. Excellent item.
Carla S
I would want to win the trimmer the most. I like the fact that it is also part mower. Thanks for the giveaway!
R E K
The AeroCart would be a boon, a truly usable ‘multi’ tool, although getting to it away from my wife, the Master Gardener might be a trick . . .
Ryan Shannon
The AeroCart looks very useful, and I like the fact that it has multiple functions that would allow me to free up some garage space.
ACAZ
That is some weird but cool wheelbarrow thing would love one
Sarah K
The trimmer/mower looks great. We switched to a push mower, and it can’t get as close to the edges of or lawn and garden beds as the electric mower could. It’s be great to have something so versatile to pick up the slack. Thanks for the giveaway.
Greg
The trimmer is what I would take. Looks very useful. Thanks, Greg
Philip H
AeroCart! Awesome zombie scoop!
schmidty
Love the aerocart, perfect for so may of my yard jobs.
Random Person
The Worx AeroCart looks pretty snazzy. The versatility would be nice. The bag holder looks especially handy.
Caleb Allen
I would love the AeroCart! It seems like it would be a nice tool in my small lot.
MATT
I would have to say the Aero cart because of all the features! I love the deployable legs to make it a cart. The wheelbarrow is great too! Two main tools in one!
Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Ray Brungard
The AeroCart’s ability to be a hand truck and a and extended dolly look very useful. The ability to hold open a bag for clean-up is great. the inside of the cart is smooth and should be easy to hose out. The handles are a vast improvement over the traditional wheel barrel handles.
jeff hirsch
I would like to win the trimmer. I like that it is also an edger
Manu
Tough to decide between the two. I would probably go with the Aerocart as it can double as a cart to move plants arounds also will save space in the garage as i would only need to have one tool for multiple jobs
Zorac
I tried to move a boulder the other day and hurt my back. I couldn’t find anything around the house that would let me roll it somewhere else. I like the idea of the cart with its large wheels that wouldn’t sink into the ground like some hand truck wheels would.
LaVaughn Parkin
I have been watching both the Aerocart and the trimmer infomercials. They are on my wish lists. I like to be independent and have 2 1/2 acres to mow. I am still active at 75 and intend to stay that way.
David Balcom
With a 200 year old house and a full one-acre plot, I can conceive of numerous projects for the Aerocart! Looks like a great product!
Mike M
I would love the Aerocart. My current wheelbarrow is hand-me-down, which is rickety (it’s wood) and has failing tires. This year I spent significant time working in my yard, and realized for the first time how important a good wheelbarrow is. One time I was even filling the wheelbarrow with old dirt when it tipped over and spilled everywhere!
