Yeti Coolers & Ramblers – Black Friday 2021 Deals

Acme Yeti Dewalt Cooler Promo 112021

Over at Acme Tools, they have a new promo on YETI coolers. Now through 12/24/21 or while supplies last, save 10% on select YETI coolers.

This might not seem like a big discount, but YETI is always excluded from Acme Tools’ coupon promos. Meaning, whenever they have a percent-off promo, YETI is one of those brands that is always ineligible, and so this seems to be a rare discount offer.

There are a couple of Dewalt coolers included in this sale, in case you want something a little more yellow.

Coupon Code: COOLER10. Max savings is $150.

Acme Drinkware Promo 112021

Acme also has a promo on select YETI drinkware, including different styles of Rambler cups and bottles.

  • Buy 1, Save 10%
  • Buy 2, Save 15%
  • Buy 3 or more, Save 20%

As with the coolers, most of these products are also excluded from seasonal percent-off promos, which looks to make this a rare discount opportunity.

There are also a couple of Dewalt products mixed into this promo as well.

Coupon Code: DRINKWARE

This offer also ends 12/24/21 unless supplies sell out sooner.

REI has fall savings going on now with 1 item 20% off including yeti coolers.

Thanks! It looks like REI’s deal is members-only ($20 one-time fee).

They have 20% off one item sales 3 times per year. March-May-November.
Non sale items year-round have typical 10% returned as dividend the following spring. $20 for lifetime membership is good value.

        That’s right.

But membership costs $20 for a LIFETIME, and entitles you to 10% back on all full-price purchases, as well as these periodic 20% off deals (which include anything, even the sale items.)

So if you think you’ll spend more than $200 total at REI in your entire lifetime, it makes sense to join. If you’re buying a YETI cooler, you can make the membership price back in your first purchase.

(That said, I think YETI products are overpriced.)

Also, REI’s house brand, REI Co-op, has gear that’s durable and well-made, and a fraction of the price of the big name brands. I have several pair of their hiking and travel pants, and they’ve far outlasted my old Carhartts.

Their no-questions-asked return period has shrunk to a year, however, which is still generous. They used to offer a lifetime return period, but I guess people abused it.

Agree with all of the above. Ya almost feel good spending too much money at REI.
[But not on Yeti anything ever. Marshall’s or Walmart for stainless mugs / water bottles and I’ve actually been very happy with Coho and Igloo coolers from Costco.

Agree. YETI’s selling point is that they’re three times as expensive as the competitors, and that’s all.

But it costs THREE TIMES AS MUCH! It MUST be good somehow! Right?

            Right?

70% off would still make a Yeti cooler too expensive. I was gifted a couple Yeti coolers. After owning them and using them for awhile now, I can confidently say they are overpriced and not even that great of a cooler. I would never buy one.

No doubt! $35 for an insulated drink tumbler?!

Might as well be buying $85 cotton T-shirts

Wow, are they really just insulated for that kind of money? I had always assumed they were a vacuum flask, that’s even more nuts if they’re just insulated.

$50 for a dog water bowl. It really is just a metal bowl with “YETI” on it!

We’ve been gifted a Yeti cooler or two over the years and my main concern is their theft. Trendy and overpriced spells “Naw” for my personal interest. Like maybe Gucci power tools?
And their $50 ice packs? Yeah riiiight.

Rovr rollr is a decent cooler. Pneumatic tires make it easy to pull over grass, sand, sidewalk. I have the 55liter? version and it’s heavy and bulky, but if I need what’s in it to stay cold for a cross country trip, then it’s more than makes up for the bulk.

I don’t like Yeti. They exist in the same area that Apple exists. They rely heavily on people’s primal instinct of appearing more attractive to possible partners because of their status representing assets. Back in the hunter gatherer days people used to show their superiority though mementos of the animals that they preyed on. Nowadays people do it through Apple products, Yeti tumblers and $400 Gucci hats.

Apple at least has a different UI from Android that some people prefer and is sorta almost better at privacy than G.

Yeti is just good marketing. Every “Yeti guy” I know also pays extra for Tito’s vodka. Same energy

You think that better privacy is the reason for people changing their phones every single year? Or for the people that have an apple phone, watch, laptop, and earphones?

They are good products but most people buy them for what they think the products represent, not their privacy. The privacy bit for most is just a way to justify their otherwise somewhat irrational decision to overpay for the product.

Actually, another brand that I probably think fits nicely along Apple and Yeti is Festool.

Those modern roto molded coolers are way better than the traditional ones, but there’s no reason to get a Yeti one. Pelican make better ones that are cheaper, or you can get one of the many knockoffs. I bought a smaller 28L ‘lifetime’ brand one and if you fill it with ice, at the end of the day there is zero water at the bottom. And it’s made in the USA, and costs less than $100.
