Zircon i65 Stud Finder

Zircon’s i65 StudSensor is an affordable and easy to use stud finder. While the i65 does not have all of the bells and whistles of more expensive stud finders, it locates the edges and centers of studs with reliable ease.

We purchased an i65 about two years ago, and it has always been dead-on accurate. The i65 alerts the location of a stud’s center and its edges, and also alerts the presence of live unshielded wiring.

Plus, the i65 it is incredibly user-friendly. Basic instructions are printed on the back of the unit, and detailed instructions are included with the package. Ours also included a CD that perhaps we’ll take a look at someday. We occasionally lend our i65 to friends and colleagues, and even those that are tool-unsavvy are able to use it [properly] with ease.

The i65’s typically sells for about $30, but one-time users may want to opt for a cheaper model.

I wish they had had this stuff when I was doing electrical and HVAC work in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Man it would have made my life so much easier.

Yeah, a stud finder is one of those things that once you’ve used one, you can’t imagine going without one.
