Hot Deal: Zero Tolerance 0450, a Casual-Looking (But Still Awesome) Folding Knife for $115

Zero Tolerance 0450 Knife Open Arched

I reviewed the Zero Tolerance 0450 folding knife a couple of months ago, and found it to be an incredibly knife.

It’s a really uncharacteristic knife for Zero Tolerance, because it’s smaller and with a more casual appearance. But it shares a lot of quality with other Zero Tolerance knives, such as its strength, durability, and high quality construction.

Right now, thanks to the Kershaw and Zero Tolerance holiday discount going on at Amazon, you can save $10 off the price of this knife.

But, inexplicably, Amazon has the knife on sale already, for $125. After coupon, it’s just $115 shipped.

As discussed in my review (check it out here), the ZT 0450 really WOWed me.

$115 is a lot of money to spend on a folding knife, but with Zero Tolerance you know you’re getting your money’s worth, at least in my opinion.

When I first saw the 0450 in pre-release coverage, I wasn’t impressed or at all interested in the knife. But when the opportunity to check one out landed a 0450 in my hands, I decided that there’s no risk in checking it out.

I’ve purchased a couple of Zero Tolerance knives, and while I don’t use them in critical life-or-death situation, I do use them hard at times. Given when I learned in the process of using it, reviewing it, and using it some more since then, I would definitely recommend the 0450.

As a reminder, it’s made in the USA.

Must have been a lighting sale or something, because they changed the price to $160.

It had been $145 or so the other day, then dropped to $130 and then $125. It’s now $147 before discount and temporarily out of stock.

$137 after coupon is still better than the $160 street price from everywhere else.

        Backup to $160 here.

No, it’s still $147 now, and $137 after the $10 discount that appears during checkout.

I fixed the link above, here it is again, to force the page to show Amazon as the primary seller. Through the previous link, it defaulted to whichever seller Amazon defaulted to.

Even though Amazon’s price is lower, since it’s temporarily out of stock, Amazon’s algorithm defaulted to Amazon-fulfilled sellers’ prices.

Even though it’s temporarily out of stock, ordering it now locks in the price at $137.46 plus tax, and puts you in line for order fulfillment. If you check back and see that the price drops down again (I’ll try to monitor this), you could always cancel your order and reorder, putting you in the back of the line for order fulfillment, or contact Amazon to see if they’ll do a price adjustment.

I highly doubt that they’ll bring the price back down to $125, or $115 after coupon, again.

After the $10 discount i paid the total of $123.11 which is pretty good price compare to others.
