Of course! The one day I forget to check Home Depot’s Deal of the Day, which has been featuring home accessories and seasonal items, and not tools, there’s a mega promo on cordless nailers, air nailers, and air compressors.
I don’t know what prompted me to take a look just now, but I figure it’s better to catch the deal later than never. Apologies to everyone that sees this post headline in their Wednesday newsletter – the deal expires at the end of the day on Tuesday 10/18/2016.

More specifically, it ends at 4am ET on 10/19/2016.
Here’s what’s included as part of the one-day deal:
- 7 Dewalt air compressors
- 3 Milwaukee M18 Fuel cordless nailer and free “Workskin” base layer (several sizes available)
- Ridgid air nailer combo
- Flooring nailer kit
- Husky air compressor
- Husky air nailer combo
- Ridgid clipped head framing nailer
- Ryobi vertical pancake air compressor
- 4 other misc brands’ air compressors and nailer combos
I’m surprised to see that the Ryobi compressor, shown above, has returned. The Ryobi vertical pancake compressor was sold by itself, and as part of a nailer combo kit. I don’t recall seeing these last year, making this the compressor’s first return since its 2014 release.
That Ryobi compressor is on sale for $99 – a very good deal in my opinion.
Some of these look to be decent deals, but with there being 25 deals – some of them being overlaps due to different Milwaukee nailer and Workskin size combos – I won’t analyze each and every one.
One of the Dewalt air compressos on sale, DXCMLA1983054, a 30 gallon portable vertical tank compressor, is $518 on Amazon, $600+ at some other vendors, and on sale for $470 as part of this Home Depot promo.

If the other deals are just as good, it’s definitely a sale to pay close attention to. Just keep in mind that supplies are usually limited, and the deal ends at 4am 10/19/2016.

Have you noticed any differences between the Ryobi and Ridgid versions of this compressor?
Stuart
I haven’t compared the tool, but I remember being convinced that they were identical except in pricing.
The Ridgid was only very briefly available, the Ryobi was available longer as part of a nailer combo.
It was as if TTI couldn’t decide as to how to market the nailer and went with “all of the above.”

We had a batch of Emglo portable compressors that we really liked. I wonder how much of the Emglo engineering/design etc, rubbed off on Dewalt after Emglo was acquired by SBD and before it was sold off (I think) to Jenny

Hey folks, Not sure if the link is a glitch from Home Depot but the landing page for specials shows a Vizio 60″ HDTV?
I can’t locate any tool related specials from the link or even on HomeDepot.com

Just noticed the note about ending yesterday 10-18-16, pardon the extra note.
