Amazon has a new Dewalt tools sale, featuring a number of good-looking bargains.
The promo features a mix of Dewalt tool types – the DWE7491RS table saw with rolling stand, cordless power tools such as the DCF891B 1/2″ impact wrench, add-ons such as the DCE512B portable fan, 6Ah and PowerStack 5Ah battery 2-packs, and a couple of cordless power tool kits, with the DCF845D1E1 impact driver kit being the most interesting in my opinion.
There are a couple of other tool and accessory deals, such as a 156pc mechanics tool set, FlexTorq right angle 3/8″ square drive attachment, and an oscillating blade set.

Amazon has been light on tool deals, which made this promo a surprise. They also apparently announced a second round of Prime Day deals for October, but haven’t released details about this yet.
As always, check at least one other vendor to be sure you’re getting the best price. I usually doublecheck pricing at Acme Tools and Tool Nut, with both being authorized independent dealers.
It looks like Acme Tools has a “buy more, save more” Dewalt tool deal going on right now. They have the same price on the DCF845 kit, which is excluded from the savings. Lowe’s also has the DCF845D1E1 at $169 right now, with an August 16 end date (which is tomorrow).
If you’re in the fence about anything, jot down the model number and price, and check back in 2-3 months. I have a feeling that we’re going to have a deal-rich holiday shopping season ahead of us.

Amazon also has the Dewalt fast charger DCB118 for $80. But honesty, I’d like to see that as a deal with pick a tool option for corresponding savings on both pieces. Otherwise, the combo deals are getting to be stale with the older chargers.

I just bought the DCF891 when it was on sale for $199. Now it’s cheaper, doh! Anybody on the fence should grab one at this price it’s pretty sweet.

Amazon has the DCB094K usb-c two way charging adapter priced at $71 instead of $99 elsewhere.
Also, Ohio Power Tool has a great deal on the DCF891 impact. Buy a 5.0 powerstack and charger for $279, get the impact or other bare tool free.

Not really honestly the father’s day sale beat that deal 5x over. $279 for 1 5hr battery, 1 charger, and your choice of tool. The tools they offer are normally sold with 2 batteries a charger and the tool for $199. Maybe it’s because it’s a different state but ya no thanks on that deal.

I fell for this Inventory Liquidation sale on Facebook. It was for 32 DeWalt battery powered tools valued at $599.99 all for only $39.99 plus $6.99 shipping from China. I ordered it and paid using my Visa card. They sent me an email with a tracking number so I could monitor the shipping progress which I did daily and I watched it over the course of six weeks as it slowly made its way from China to the US and to my state where it was finally marked as “DELIVERED”. I am home every day and was watching my front porch every day for these packages which indeed were NEVER Delivered! I sent the company an email threatening to post what had happened to me everywhere online I could and they refunded my $39.99 to my Visa card.

You should probably change your credit card number.
Scam sites get your funds, but also your full contact info and credit card number.

I had a similar thing happen to me where they tracked a post card as if it were the package. When I called they said the merchandise would be enroute soon. I immediately canceled and demanded a credit card refund to which they complied. The post card was just a Thank You note for ordering the product. I’ve had a couple of suspicious charges on my credit card since but they were blocked by my credit card company…
