While browsing Amazon’s power & hand tool section, I spotted the above “free expert advice” info on the left-hand side of the webpage. I plan to call them up with a few technical questions to gauge how helpful they might actually be. If anyone else wants to give it a try, please let us know about your own experience!

I called, got connected in under a minute to a midwestern guy who said he was a Firestone tech doig alignments for 32 years. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about, we talked about air tools. He looked up specs on manufacturer sites, nothing I couldn’t do on my own but it was pleasant.

I wonder how Amazon reimburses them, or checks to make sure they are qualified.
I bet some unemployed tool guys might enjoy a job like that.
