Everyone (mass media outlets) have been describing Amazon’s “Epic Deals” as “pre-Black Friday” deals, and some of today’s deals might actually be fitting of such labeling.
As part of their holiday season ramp-up promos, Amazon has new deals and discounts on Dewalt cordless and benchtop power tools.

These are deals of the day for 10/13/2021 and will expire at 3am ET 10/14 unless supplies sell out sooner.
So, let’s take a look at what they’ve got.

Dewalt Table Saw Bundle Deal: $368.99
This bundle features the Dewalt 8-1/4″ portable table saw DWE7485, a compatible stand, and both ripping and cross-cutting blades. This is a pretty good deal considering that the table saw currently sells for $399 at other Dewalt tool dealers.

Dewalt Tripod LED Worklight with Battery and Charger: $189
Dewalt’s excellent LED worklight with collapsible tripod base is kitted in this bundle (DCL079R1) with a 6Ah battery and charger. The DCL079 worklight by itself currently retails at $179 and up at other Dewalt dealers.
Dewalt Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit: $125
This is the Dewalt DCS356D1 OMT kit, and it’s an excellent price at $125! (Thank you Steve!) The seasonal promos are usually $99 for the DCS356C1 kit (3-speed with 1.5Ah battery) or the DCS354D1 kit (Atomic single speed with 2.0Ah battery). This is the 3-speed kit with more accessories and a 2.0Ah battery, regularly priced at $199.

“Epic” Stanley Black & Decker Tool Deals
I’ve been trying to resist, but it seems that online retailers are really trying to push “Black Friday” sentiments into October. It’s not just one of them, but all of them.

The oscillating tool kit is really, really, good. I’ve never seen it below $150. This is not the oscillating tool deal that comes up for $99 from time to time with batteryand charger. This is the XR version of the tool the DCS356 not the Atomic or the older 355. This is the one with the 3 speed settings. The battery in this kit is also a 2Ah, not a 1.5 or 1.3 that the other bundles usually come with. Now, here’s the thing, the accessories really make this worth it. The accessory case alone retails for $16. The sander attachment is another $11. Then there’s the depth of cut guide you get, I don’t know if that is even sold separately. You also get 2 blades instead of one, sand paper, and a bag. Better tool, better battery, more accessories. I waited almost a year to pick this up at $150 last year. If you want the Dewalt oscillating multi tool jump on this now.

Thank you – you’re right!!
I added a correction.
It looked to have more accessories than the seasonal promo kits, but the model number threw me off.

Definitely a really good deal. You can buy the depth guide separately (you have to order three separate pieces) but this kit is the smart way to get the OMT.

Yep that’s a good deal I got an XR with the smaller battery and charger but no accessories for 99 last year. Add the bigger battery and accessories make this worthwhile I spent 30 bucks on accessories rather quickly after buying it.
Steve
Yeah I love this kit and wish they would feature/promo it more.
Koko The Talking Ape
I just happened to notice that Bahco’s 7″ diagonal cutters are on sale at Amazon too. Now they’re just pricey ($26.58 for me), down from exorbitant ($41.93).
But they have spring-loaded handles you can toggle on and off, which is pretty cool, and the head seems narrower and smaller than some other dikes. The ergonomics looks good too.
