Home Depot kicked off another round of tool deals, featuring Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ryobi, Ridgid, and more.
The focus is on power tools, some hand tools are mixed in, power tool accessories, cordless outdoor power equipment, and home-use battery banks.
Here are some of the deals that caught my attention:

Milwaukee M12 Fuel Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool with 2x 5Ah Starter Kit – $185
Milwaukee M12 Fuel SURGE Impact Kit with Soldering Iron – $165
Milwaukee M18 Fuel SURGE Impact Driver with 5Ah Battery – $139
Milwaukee 30pc Combination Wrench Set – $179
There’s a lot more than this – it’s always good to quickly browse through the list to see if something matches your wishlist.
Amazon has early Prime Big Deal Days promos on… probably nothing you need or like. There are a couple of Dewalt deals, a Craftsman tape measure is on sale, and a whole lot of “I wasn’t really looking to buy that” stuff.
The October Prime Day event will be the 8th and 9th. Those deals will probably be okay, or at least I hope so. We’ll cover them like usual, filtering out the jewels from the junk.
Acme Tools has a Dewalt promo – it’s a buy more, save more type:
- $20 off $199+ eligible orders
- $40 off $299+ eligible orders
- $75 off $499+ eligible orders
Lowe’s has deals on a couple of tools – save on a Jonard cable stripping tool, and misc. Fleming Supply parts bins, tool boxes, and organizer racks.

KC Tool’s Tool Deal of the Day – save on the NWS contactless voltage tester, which clips onto the accessory slot of NWS pliers and cutters.

Looks like they have the new left-hand 6-1/2″ circular saw (2833-20) on a pretty good sale. I’ve been looking to replace my very very weak Bosch circular saw with another left-hand circular saw, and am inclined to bite on this. Anyone have any negative experiences with this new saw? Thanks.

Similarly, I got the 2730 saw back a few months when a local hardware store sponsored a Milwaukee day event. Solid saw. No negatives. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Where was LHS saw?

This is the best deal that they’ve had on this saw (plus the free 8.0 Ah battery) in the past two month. (I had been looking daily for this deal to repeat.)

That style of cable stripping tool is nice.

My email inbox has been pretty quiet these days. Other than the constant stream of multiple emails from Woodpeckers – the only sales I’ve seen pop up are ones that seem to be regular ho-hum sorts of discounts. Perhaps the MaxTool one might be OK:
MaxTool – 15% off Milwaukee woodworking items – use code WDWK15
https://www.maxtool.com/collections/milw-24113
Here are the others:
NailGun Depot – 5% off using code BROWSE5
Test Equipment Depot – sales on Fluke
TSO Products – 10% off their items and 5% off UJK items

Stuart, I think your first HD link got truncated somehow. Thanks

Oops. Thanks! *fixed*

Thanks. I bought one. My Ryobi version is kind of a stinker.

I can confirm that the new m18 6 1/2 circular saw is a huge improvement. The guard design is really nice incredibly smooth and detects for depth and bevel are nice touch.
The saw with an 8.0 battery for that price is a screaming deal

The same deal ($229 for both) also seems to apply at MaxTool . I tried their 15% off coupon code – and it doesn’t stack

ToolsToday has a 10% sitewide deal. Some exclusions though

I bought the 12v Surge/soldering iron 3 days ago for 179. It dropped to 165 today but they won’t price match because it was a special order item because of the way it was bundled! I’m not gonna return/buy just for $14 bucks though.
