July 4th is looking to be a major tool-savings event this year, with sales at nearly every retailer and supplier.
A lot of the deals are centered around special buys and promos, but there are plenty of coupon offers and general sales as well.
Don’t forget that Prime Day is coming up on July 16th and 17th. If you’re not finding discounts on what you need now, tune in again later this month for what’s sure to be another major tool deals and savings event.

Tool Sales and Promos

Home Depot 4th of July Sale – The focus is on cordless power tools, but there’s plenty more, such as a “buy more, save more” deal on Packout tool boxes, organizers, bags, and accessories.

Acme Tools has 10% off Orders $99+ – There are of course brand exclusions, but Acme’s 10% off coupon code is a great way to save big bucks on the tools you want. There’s a savings cap of $150 per order.

Amazon has some tool deals – There are some tools on sale and with coupon offers, but it seems Amazon is waiting for Prime Day.

Tool Nut has 15% off in-stock Dewalt – This is your chance to snag a deeper discount on a lot of tools that rarely go on sale.

SawStop Cabinet Table Saw Sale – Save $500 off ICS, $350 off any PCS, $200 off any contractor saw. Shop Acme Tools, Tool Nut, or any other participating dealer.
SawStop NEVER runs discount sales on their cabinet table saws, meaning this is a rare type of promo.

On that $199 M18 Impact + M12 ratchet deal, the marketing material on the HD website is painfully out of date. Both are described as “most compact, most powerful”, neither of which are correct.
That aside, it’s a great deal if you need both for casual use.

Can you tell me where you’re seeing this? I’m looking at product details and I don’t see “most” in the text anywhere. Of course, I’m using the app on my phone so I might be missing it.

Nevermind, I just found it in the product images. I don’t tend to scroll through those, so I get it now.

I was hoping that 15% off Dewalt deal at Tool Nut might apply to the new DCW620 router but sadly it does not. That said, it does apply to a lot of tools that are rarely discounted.

Got a pair of emails about July 4th sales:
DFM Toolworks – 20% off using code 20DFMUSA at checkout
https://dfmtoolworks.com/collections/all
Seneca Woodworking – use code JULY4TH25 for 15% 0ff
https://www.senecawoodworking.com/

I’d also add DiamondBacks 4th of July sales. They’re pretty stingy on sales so getting $40-50 off a pouch is a pretty big deal. I ordered a SxS to try out.

I’m seeing $349 for the HO 6ah battery starter kit with free tool when I click the link.
At $269 for the deal, I might finally rationalize getting the m18 inflator.
No need yet for more batteries, but the High Output ones would be nice in the circ saw, sawsall and grinder.

Has all the bad publicity for Sawstop caused them loss of sales, hence the discounts? Hmmm…
MFC
Well, Festool is also owned by TTS and they’re having sales as well, which is not the usual. New management? Loss in sales? Thoughts Stuart?

Menards has a bunch of ToughBuilt ClipTech on sale, but you’ve got to either get it in store or spend a lot of time mixing and matching your items to avoid ridiculous processing and shipping fees.
I bought a 12″ Massive Mouth toolbag and a ClipTech 8″ tote for $50 delivered, which comes out to about a 50% discount.

Really wish they’re was a Menards close by, the price on those toughbuilt bags is killer, and they are great products. “Processing Fees” and Shipping kinda just make it into an ok deal though. Tempted to still get a few since toughbuilts future is kinda uncertain.

Nowhere else to put this, Proto 16oz ball peen hammers are on sale on Amazon. $27 seems like a good deal.
