Black & Decker’s ratcheting ReadyWrench takes their highly successful ReadyWrench dog bone all-in one style wrench to the next level. Like the original, the ratcheting ReadyWrench can also fit 16 fastener sizes in 8 sockets, but appears to be more compact and has a handy (15°?) offset at both ends.
Socket sizes are color-coded, and the ratcheting mechanism is reversible with an easy-toggle direction selector ring. The ratcheting ReadyWrench fits the following fastener sizes: 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, and 19mm; 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, and 3/4 inches.

Personally, I usually prefer to use separate sockets or wrenches, but can still appreciate the ratcheting ReadyWrench’s portability and convenience.
Judging by how quickly it flew off shelves and how long it was on online retailers’ bestseller charts, The ReadyWrench was very successful last year especially during the winter holidays and Father’s Day. In fact, it is still the #1 bestselling wrench on Amazon, probably helped along by its price-drop.
I would expect to see large displays of this new ratcheting version to appear at Home Depot and Lowes as the holiday shopping season nears.
The launch price of the ratcheting ReadyWrench looks to be $30.

Looks like it’ll fit anywhere a RHFT 1/2in ratchet would, a valued junkyard tool.

uhh I don’t know about this thing. It looks HUGE.
IIRC when the original came out it was $30, so with this pretty significant ratcheting upgrade I’m surprised the price is the same

Newest Napa large-format flyer has this at $29 thru the holidays. Don’t think it’s stocked yet.
