Black Friday & Holiday 2016 Cordless Battery Pack Deals

Cordless power tool battery packs are the lifeblood of many of our tools, but they often cost so darned much. While the biggest and latest battery packs are not often on sale, we came across quite a few deals worth mentioning.

Well, that’s not entirely accurate. We didn’t just come across these deals, we hunted and scoured, and spent half a Sunday morning looking for the best battery deals out there.

From Dewalt to Milwaukee, Bosch to Ridgid, here are the best cordless battery pack deals for the 2016 holiday season.

There is at least one Black Friday 2016 deal mixed in, and I also found a couple of starter kit deals worth mentioning. If you know of any other cordless tool battery deals, please let us know!

That Kobalt battery price is insane! I’m trying to think up ways/ideas to use them for parts.

I’m going to guess that $10 battery price on the Kobalt is to entice potential buyers into the Kobalt 24V Max system. You can get some customers when you include 2 batteries and a charger in a drill/driver or drill/saw set, but you can get a lot more customers buying all the other tools too when they can just add a battery for each tool for just $10.

Of course the prices on the old Dewalt XRP batteries and the adapter for the 20V Max are way down! D’oh

Will I get better performance using the 20V max with adapter on an old 18V Dewalt circular saw? Right now I find that I can only cut about 32 linear feet of plywood on a charge…

U can’t figure out how they price them so low . Kinda funny . Looks simple to me . Actual cost of a battery to make and ship and market must be around 8 or 9 bucks . The rest is all branding and greed
