Bondhus Mini Ball End Hex Key Set Review

Carbide Processors Mini Bondhus Ball Hex Key Set

This Bondhus mini ball end hex key set is perfect for small tool kits. The L-keys have ball hex ends on the long side for easy fastener access, and straight hex ends on the short side for higher torque applications.

The set comes with 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, and 5mm sizes.

That’s an AA battery in the photo, showing just how small these L-keys are.

I wouldn’t want this to be my only hex key set for use around the house or workshop, but it’s a great size for small fastener adjustments and on-the-go tasks.

These keys feature Bondhus’ GoldGuard finish, which give them a yellow-silvery tone. The 14-karat gold finish makes these L-keys highly corrosion and rust resistant, so there’s no worry about keeping them in your car, bike, boat, or humid garage.

I’ve used Bondhus black oxide, GoldGuard, and BriteGuard hex keys and drivers in the past, and they have never let me down.

The best part – this set was FREE!

Carbide Processors offers this set as a free thank you gift. All you have to do is either register for their email newsletter, or place an order with them. You can also buy a set for $6.95, but $0.00 seems like a better deal to me.

(Thanks to reader Steve R for telling me about this great distributor!)

Doesn’t seem to work for me, they still asked for a credit card.

    Maybe I’m not smart enough.

I went to the “full web site” and found joy. Evidently the mobile site isn’t quite complete.

I will be buying my Whiteside router bits from them as well as saw blades.

        Thanks for the heads up.

          Glad to hear it!

Their Whiteside router bit prices do seem good. I’m fully stocked at the moment, but will strongly consider them for Whiteside bits as well.

It worked for me with no credit card. I actually got the wiha de/magnetizer as I’ve never actually used one.

Also, I hate those style screwdrivers with a passion.

Same here. I went with the magnetizer also.

I bought one of those magnetizers some time ago, and they work surprisingly well. Definitely a good buy and useful to keep around, even if not a free gift.

Got the FREE wrenches in the mail. Had to pay $1.18 to the postman because they sent them with insufficient postage!! Don’t think I will buy anything from them anytime soon.
