Bosch’s PS31-2AL1A 12V drill/driver and double L-Boxx kit is currently on sale for just $93 at Amazon. $93 is a great price for just the PS31-2A drill/driver kit, but throw in 2 free L-Boxxes and it’s amazing. Or you could consider the two L-Boxxes are priced at $93, with a free drill/driver and 2x 12V batteries thrown in for free.
I bought the kit around Black Friday last November for a dollar more. The drill/driver kit went to my brother in law, who just moved into a new house with my sister, and I kept the L-Boxxes for my own organizational needs.
This deal is valid all day today, 6/4/2013, unless supplies run out sooner.

If you’re just interested in L-Boxxes, or want to pick up some of the larger sizes, don’t forget that there’s a $25 off $100 promo going on right now. It’s worth noting that the additional discount does not apply to this special-priced limited time deal.
Since Father’s Day is approaching, there’s a chance this deal might return, as it did appear multiple times during the winter holiday shopping season, but there’s no guarantee. If you think you might want to get in on this deal, now’s the time.

Just grabbed one of these… Thinking about grabbing another and selling the drill and batteries after 🙂

Wow, that is a really sweet deal. Its like having a buy one get one free kind of deal and if you sold the drill it could end up being close to free.
Stuart
True, but a lot of other people might have the same idea. I imagine that some people will sell the drill kit, others will sell both L-Boxxes, some might keep one L-Boxx and sell the other.

I was in the market for small L-Boxxes but kept putting it off. Despite having a bag full of Bosch drills, I couldn’t pass up this deal. Thanks, Stuey, for making me spend money. 😉

It might make you feel better knowing that I spent a bunch of my own money on L-Boxxes recently. It wasn’t until right now that I added it all up, and the final total is quite scary. Once I have them all in use I’ll snap some pics.

I saw you posted this deal last December, I bought one.
I saw you posted this deal again today, I bought two more.

A hello from Brazil! Hi, I am from Brazil, and I bought 4 of them. I am gonna use Shipito to forward the packages to me. Unfortunatelly I am gonna have to pay more than $240 in importing taxes and plus $400 in shipping. Even with all of these extra money, I think its gonna worth! Compared to USA, everything here in Brazil is very expensive! As the others said, I am gonna keep the boxes too and sell the drills later! Thanks for the tip Stuart!!! By the way, awsome blog!

Just got mine delivered last wednesday………the l-boxx deal was too good to pass up this time since I missed it during the last deal. Thanks Stu for the heads up.
But……I’m selling the drill. The grip doesn’t work for my hands. I’m used to the tips of my fingers being able to actually wrap around the front of the grip.
All of the 12 volt batteries have 3 cells, stacked together in a triangle basically. But because of the way Bosch positions the battery cells, the flat part of the grip is on the front of the grip. My fingers don’t wrap around that flat section. Milwaukee’s 12 volt system has the battery cells in the opposite way, so that the heel of your hand is against the flat part of the grip and so your fingers can wrap around the front edge of the grip. Its a much “grippy-er” grip. I feel that the Bosch grip is going to fall out of my hand. Btw, I wear Mechaniks size large gloves and they are tight.
Seems like being picky, but a tools connection to your hand is as important as its ability to do work, drill, cut etc. I suspect that Bosch picked this orientation by chance. And Milwaukee in turn did the opposite. Either way, my 12 volt system will be red, not blue………and its only because of the ergonomics of the handle.
Keeping the L-boxxes though!
