This Bosch UK or EU product is not available in the USA.
Bosch’s Click & Go branding, which was launched with their expanded L-Boxx tool storage lineup, has been extended to several new vacuums and dust extractors. Like Festool’s CT dust extractors, the new Bosch Click & Clean wet/dry vacs now offer a top-mounted toolbox dock.
So why would you want a dust extractor with L-Boxx dock? Quite frankly, it’s simply convenient. Why lug around a separate tool box when you can pop one on top of your vacuum.
There’s more to these dust extractors than their L-Boxx docks. Most significantly, each extractor is powered by a new 1380 watt suction turbine. This is also the first time – to my knowledge and familiarity – that Bosch is releasing several sizes of vacuums all at the same time.

Models (UK SKUs)
- GAS 35 L SFC+
- GAS 35 L AFC
- GAS 35 M AFC
- GAS 55 M AFC
All models, except for GAS 35 L SFC+, feature automatic filter cleaning to ensure consistent suction power. The filter cleaning works by electronically reversing the airflow every 15 seconds.
GAS 35 L SFC+ instead has semi-automatic filter cleaning, via a button near the end of the elbow connector.
There are two levels of dust extraction certification – M and L. Vacuums with class L certification are designed for extracting softwood dust, such as from spruce, fir, pine, or Corian materials. Those with M certification are suitable for hardwood dusts, such as from beech, oak, and ash, as well as quartz-containing concrete dust.
As a reminder, these vacs are slated for European release.
The GAS 35 vacs have 35L containers, and the GAS 55 has a 55L container.
Each vac comes with an extraction hose, tool adapter, flat-pleated filter, extraction tubes, floor nozzles, an elbow connector, crevice nozzle, and disposal bags. Max vacuum pressure is 254 mbar and max airflow is 74 l/s for all models.

Two large wheels and two smaller casters should make the vacs highly mobile and maneuverable.
It also looks like each vac has a 3-way on/off/auto power switch that allows them to turn on when they sense the attached corded power tool in use.
MSRP is unknown, UK/EU release is scheduled for May 2013.

Interesting, I am debating with myself about getting a proper vacuum and I have a few L-boxx’s but that looks like it could get top heavy very easy.
I guess I am going to wait for the first review and a comparison with a Festool and such.

Think that the l boxx clicked on top would be mostly for vac accessory storage……..prob would be a bad idea to put a few l boxxes full of tools up there.
I like this design a lot……hope pricing allows me to consider this version.

That’s what I keep atop my Festool extractor – the optional accessory kit – but a power tool Systainer case or two can be docked there just the same. One of the press release images shows a tall L-Boxx on top, and it didn’t look too awkward.

Any indication how loud they might be? My current shop vac is waaay too loud and these might be worth a look see assuming they land here….

There’s no indication of noise levels, but their older vacs ran at >60 db. Festool and Fein have lower noise models, and I’m not sure of these models were designed with low noise in mind.
I would think that the combined noise from a saw, router, or other large dust-producing tool plus a low-noise vac would still necessitate hearing protection.

We went over to Fein Vacs many years ago because of their relatively quiet operation. In the shop we have a central dust collection system – but on residential and office jobsites reduced small vacuum noise – particularly when clients are present – is a real plus

Manual for the 35 indicates “typical under 70dB(A)”
I’m also looking for low noise – and Nilfisk Attix 33 series states 60dB(A). Have unfortunately not heard or tried any of them yet…

I see, but looking how a systainer sits on a Festool vacuum it seems that the Bosch has a smaller footprint than the Festool.
@Eric, yeah noise level is also very important, not sure how the current Bosch, Fein, Festool etc. compare to each other.
