The Colt compact router and 5″ random orbit sander looks to be the hottest deal of the bunch, but all of the discounts look to be worthwhile.
If I didn’t already have a solid assortment of router bits, those Bosch sets would be highly appealing too. Actually, maybe that 1/4″ bit set would work well with all of the cordless routers we’re still testing…

Also on Amazon – good deal to be had on Bosch’s barrel-grip jig saw (JS572EBK) – roughly $60 cheaper than normal price.

Thank you! I added a link at the end of the post. That is a great deal indeed!

I’d say this is a better deal for $85 after discounts:

It’s the stronger, newer, Colt router vs the older router, when you can probably get a cheaper palm sander that works just as well.
Andrew
Sorry forgot to mention, to get the correct discounts, you have to pick Amazon as the seller
Stuart
Thank you! I added a link to the post, with Amazon as the default seller.

Screaming good deal at the jigsaw. I bought one, and may pick up the router table as well.

I have two Bosch jigsaws, one corded and one cordless, and they are the best! Excellent blades, too. Bosch sanders are excellent as well. I don’t have a colt router, but they are well-regarded. I don’t think Bosch bits are as highly rated as Whiteside, Freud, or Amana. I could be wrong, but they may be considered second-tier bits. Whiteside bits are relatively inexpensive and what I usually buy.

In general – I agree that Freud (a Bosch company) router bits (made in Italy) were better than the Bosch-branded ones (I think made in China). Whiteside (USA-made) and Amana (Israel-made) also seem to wear better. Another brand – worth a look is Southeast Tool (USA-made). I like their inlay bits.

I’ll take a look at Southeast Tool next time I need a bit. Thanks, Fred.

Would the router table work with the Colt?
Stuart
I don’t think so. All but one router table I know of are made for larger router motors.

The PL1632 planer also seems to be a good deal, at $86.31 at checkout.

Picked up the barrel handle jig saw. The d handle version JS572EK is on sale now as well for $145 after the $20 coupon.
L-boxx2 are also $36.27, which is the lowest list price according to CCC.
