Hot Deal: Bosch Table Saw with Roller Stand 4100-10 (H2019)

Over at Amazon, they have a “limited time deal” on this Bosch 4100-10 jobsite table saw with folding roller stand. Is this a good deal? Absolutely yes!

This is Bosch’s latest portable jobsite table saw, and it launched a year and a half ago with some minor upgrades over the previous model.

Bosch 4100-10 Table Saw

I thought for a moment that this was the older model and that the deal was intended to clear out remaining stock, but it’s not – this seems to be an early holiday deal of sorts.

If I had to guess, I would say that this is an aggressive deal by Bosch to draw your attention (and purchasing decision) before Black Friday 2019 “holiday specials” start being leaked online.

The saw features:

  • 3650 RPM (no-load)
  • 25″ rip capacity
  • 29″ x 21-1/2″ table top
  • -2° to 47° bevel range
  • 3-1/8″ max depth of cut at 90°
  • 2-1/2″ max depth of cut at 45°
  • Weighs 63 lbs without stand, 92 lbs with

When it launched, this saw was priced at $599. Looking at online price trackers, the current sale price of $449 is the lowest price this saw has ever been. Its previous low price looks to have been $499.

A deeper look shows that a number of online retailers are participating in this deal, but some retailers still have it at its regular price of $599.

Note: This promo pricing is described as a “limited time deal,” but there is no indication as to when it will end or expire.

If you’re looking to buy a portable table saw this holiday season, should you wait for a better deal?

Well, there’s a really good deal on a Dewalt DWE7480 table saw right now, but it doesn’t come with a folding or roller stand. There might be a deal on a saw + stand bundle, but we simply don’t know right now.

There could be a deal on the excellent Dewalt DWE7491RS table saw ($599 via Amazon right now). There was a Black Friday promo on this saw in 2017, when it was discounted to $499. Looking at online price trackers, it was $499 for some time this year around Father’s Day 2018 and 2019. Right now Acme has it discounted to $529.

In other words, if you’re looking for a table saw and roller stand deal, this Bosch deal is an extremely good bargain. There’s the potential for other deals this season, and I tried to provide as much historical data and observations as I could to help with your purchasing decision.

Looking for a different table saw deal? Please let me know and I’ll do my best to help.

I love my Bosch – I have the 4100-09 and paid 549.99 back in 2010 – I also got got the rear and left extensions at the same time for $30 and $22 – from Amazon – that’s what I hate about HD and Lowe’s they have the base units of things but never any of the extras

I’m still looking at a Dewalt DWE7491RS and it’s $549 at Lowes. Ace and Home Depot has it at $599. Do I take a chance an wait or spring for it now? HMMMMM.

Just checked Amazon and it can’t be shipped to Hawaii because it requires special handling.

I bought this package at the beginning of April, 2019, online through Home Depot, for the same $449

If you live in the midwest near a Menards, they have the 4100-10 for $450 and you can get an 11% rebate for future store credit this week.

I already have the 4100-09 with rear and left extensions, just like Pantonvich commented above.

I really like this saw. This summer the bearings in my Bosch 4000 seized. I got the 4100-10 to replace it. It was decently accurate out of the box and it is lighter than the 4000. During the downtime I used a Rigid and Ryobi saw. Only then did I fully appreciate the build quality of my Bosch.

There are a couple of changes I really don’t appreciate.
-fence storage move to the right and is a little cluttered.
-switch is smaller so you can not hit it with you knee as easily.
-miter guide are slightly different so my sleds don’t fit
-still no vacuum power port or induction switch

A local tool repair company fixed my original saw for $100. Now I have both and can not decide which one to sell.

Sell the new one, the older bosch is a better saw. The cast aluminum versus the sheet metal extension table alone is worth keeping the old saw over the new. I’ve replaced bearings, replaced the base, and several little pieces here and there on my old saw and it would take something pretty significant to make me buy a new replacement for that big ole Bosch saw. The compact saws are great for smaller quick jobs, but my Bosch gets set up on every big job and has cut many miles of wood.
