Bosch’s Nailkiller Auger Bits “Blast Through Nails”

Bosch just announced the release of their new Nailkiller auger bits. These high-performing auger bits are designed to last 9 times longer than the current market leader, while exerting 61% less impact force when drilling through fasteners.

A key feature that makes Nailkiller augers so much better than conventional augers are their innovative reinforced tips that push hidden nails to the side, allowing the bits’ aggressive cutting edges to plow straight through them.

Nailkiller augers also feature dual cutting edges, enabling them to slice through fasteners twice per rotation. This simple-seeming feature is responsible for greatly reducing kickback, delivering 61% less impact force/torque to the tool operator. What does this really mean? Fewer sore wrists and knuckles at the end of the day.

Bosch also intends for its Nailkiller augers to replace both spur and ship auger bits, a move dealers are sure to embrace since one bit is easier to stock and move than two.

Additional Nailkiller features include a dual-reamer-edge design to prevent splinters and help produce cleaner holes, and a reinforced spine that improves the augers’ performance in heavy-duty applications.

Bosch Nailkiller augers are on their way to distributors, and are already available online at Ohio Power Tool.
