Carbide Processors Black Friday 2015 Sale

We reached out to our friends over at Carbide Processors, to see what their Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals might look like. They got back to us with a couple of deals, plus some coupon codes.

  • Extra Discounts on ALL Bondhus Tools
  • Extra Discounts on select Wiha Tools (bringing the price down to 50% off retail)
  • 40% off most Triumph Twist Drill Sets (This is the brand we use a lot.)
  • 10% off select Whiteside Router Bit Sets
  • Discounts on Bessey K Body Parallel clamps.

Deal Info(via Carbide Processors)

A couple of discounted items caught our attention:

Bondhus Wing Handle Torx Tool Set: $15 ($20 via Amazon)
Wiha 40pc Precision Screwdriver Set: $47
Bondhus Fold-up Hex & Torx Tool Set: $15 ($20 at Amazon)
Whiteside 7pc Router Bit Set: $85.50 ($95 at Amazon)
Triumph 13pc Jobber HSS Drill Bit Set: $19 ($25 at Amazon)

Carbide Processors is a good source for Woodpeckers tools (Woodpeckers category link), saw blades, and cutting tools, and they also carry an incredible selection of high quality burs and bur sets (burs category link).

The deals aren’t mind-shatteringly good, but a couple of dollars in savings means more money left over for beer/candy/diapers/more tools.

There will also be a $15 off $175+ coupon code (plus free ground shipping within continental US) and a $25 off $250+ coupon code (plus free ground shipping within continental US).

Coupon Codes: save15, save25. Coupons are good thru Monday, 11/30/2015

Over the years I’ve found Carbide Processors good folks to deal with – using them as a source of router bits from not only Whiteside but also Southeast Tool. They are a seller of Woodpeckers tools – and feature their “one-time-tools” when they are being offered. They produce (custom order) their own series of circular saw blades that carry the title of “World’s Best” – some comparable to SystiMatic brand blades – which are worth considering if you have a production shop.

Slightly – off topic – but another vendor “infinity Cutting Tools” is offering 10% off on orders over $75 with promo code: BFCM15
Fastcap – is also offering $15 off orders of $50 or more with coupon code : CYBER15

      Thanks for the Fastcap tip.

I’ve been looking at many of their products. Do you have any favorites from them?

Fastcap makes/markets a variety of tools – some IMO quintessentially “Why didn’t I think of that useful” – to what I consider ho hum gimmics. Their 3rd Hand tools (Upper Hand, Third Hand, Garbage disposal jack) are very convenient if you do a lot of cabinet installs. Some (not all) of my crews loved their tape measures – like the one specific to 32mm cabinet work. They have a few new tools (like their Stile Right clamps and How-Far-Out level accessory – that look interesting – but I’ve never seen these in action. I guess it all depends on the kind of work you do.

Some of their products are available through other sources like Amazon – so I would do some comparison shopping before jumping on their $15 off deal.

Most of the Wiha items listed have the normal ‘sale’ price, certainly not Black Friday worthy. Get the same stuff from KC Tools and free shipping over $50.

I’ve had my eye on the Trinado 29pc set over at Enco (Triumph #090552) as I really like that they have 3 flats so the bits won’t spin in a drill chuck. I think I could get that set for ~$70 with one of the 30% off discounts. CP has the same set but I think they want ~$120 or so for it.

My problem is that I’d like to find a fractional/letter set with the 3 flats AND a fractional set with 118deg points for woodworking. Looking around on Triumph’s website I couldn’t find anything.
