Channellock Releases New Smaller V-Jaw Pliers

Channellock recently announced a new smaller sized V-Jaw tongue and groove plier. Similar in design to its larger brethren, the pocket-sized 6-1/2″ 412 plier is better suited for smaller or reduced access jobs.

The Channellock 412 was born in direct response to trade professionals’ feedback who wanted a smaller V-Jaw plier to use on smaller fasteners and parts. With their right-angle teeth, these pliers’ V-Jaws provide many points of contact to securely and evenly grip small round stock and tubing.

Special features include an undercut tongue and groove design for no-slip jaw action, reinforced edges to minimize stress and the risk of breakage, and a PermaLock fastener to eliminate the possibility of “nut and bolt failure.”

As standard with all Channellock pliers, this new model is made from high performing high carbon C1080 steel that is coated to prevent rusting, and it of course features Channellock’s iconic blue comfort grips.

Currently available for $13 on Channellock.com, we expect for the 6-1/2″ 412 model to be priced at $10-12 at online and local retail stores.

A handy size to have. At those dimensions I could see grabbing one of these instead of a slip joint pliers. Better gripping power. Nice!
