Last-Chance Cyber Monday 2019 Tool Deals Roundup

Dec 2, 2019 Stuart 28 Comments

If you buy something through our links, ToolGuyd might earn an affiliate commission.

How was your Cyber Monday? What’s that – you’re just getting off work and didn’t have ample time to check out any tool days today? You’re in luck – a lot of promos are still going strong. Here’s a roundup of active promos.

Tool Nut

Tool Nut Cyber Monday 2019 Tool Deals

Over at Tool Nut, they have a couple of exclusive deals and some Holiday promos still ongoing.

Here are their highlights – a Milwaukee M18 cordless drill and sander combo kit for $199, M18 brushless saw kits for $199, and a Dewalt FlexVolt cordless outdoor power tool combo kit for $319.

Amazon

Dewalt DCS356D1 Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit

Over at Amazon, they have some interesting Cyber Monday tool deals, such as this Dewalt 20V Max cordless oscillating multi-tool kit for $129. Other retailers have the previous model bundled with a lower capacity battery pack, charger, and a single blade for $99. This bundle gives you a better battery, the newer tool, depth guide, and quite a few cutting and sanding accessories, and for only $30 more.

Update: This kit is $40 more. Amazon dropped the price of the DCD355C1 Black Friday special buy to $89.

Zoro

Zoro, an industrial supplier, has a Cyber Monday promo as well. Save 20% off $200+ or 25% off orders $275+. There are brand exclusions, such as Dewalt, Milwaukee, and a bunch of others, but also a lot of eligible ones. I last took advantage of a Zoro offer to buy a Ridgid pipe vise.

Acme Tools

Acme Tools Cyber Monday 2019

I already posted about Acme Tools’ Cyber Monday promo today, but it’s worth a reminder.

Save 15% off $99+ orders with coupon CYBER15.

Pst… Here’s a Super-Secret Dewalt Brushless 7pc Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit Deal

Dewalt DCK694P2DCF894B 20V Max Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit

CYBER15 works and drops the price down to $551.65!! The DCK694P2 kit looks to sell for $849, but this could be an inflated price. This promo is for the DCK694P2 kit plus a bonus DCF894B impact driver.

BladeHQ

BladeHQ Cyber Monday 2019

At BladeHQ, one of my favorite knife and EDC tool retailers, they’re giving away a free Mora fixed blade knife with orders over $85.

There are also a couple of special buys and promos worth a quick look.

Home Depot

Home Depot Cyber Monday 2019 Tool Deals

I’ve got a full list of Home Depot’s Cyber Monday tool deals here. I’m sorry for not adding links later on – I had the post up at around 4am when the deals were released, and then woke up before 7am to find out that it was a snow day with the local schools closed.

Still the deals are self-explanatory. Either check out my roundup, or the deal page here:

Lowe’s

I actually didn’t think to check Lowe’s deals until now. Their Black Friday were okay, but their “Pro” Black Friday deals were quite disappointing, and so they haven’t been on the top of my mind.

Looking at their website, I don’t see any Cyber Monday specials, or at least no obvious ones. You’re welcome to take a look, maybe you’ll see a deal I missed.

Shop Lowe’s Cyber Monday Tool Deals

Walmart

I’m seeing a couple of tool deals at Walmart, but nothing really worth calling out. But, this seems to be a good time to mention that they picked up Makita (via Acme as a 3rd party seller) and Montezuma tool boxes as new Pro Tool brands.

It looks like there are some Dremel deals in their DIYer tool sections.

I was also told that Walmart wouldn’t be discounting any of the Hart tools off the bat, but a Hart 20V cordless drill kit and drill bit bundle is currently on sale. At $80 (from $90) it’s not the best value, but could be bargain-priced entry into the Hart system. I’d pass on this one, but maybe you want to take a look.

Lee Valley

Lee Valley Cyber Monday Gift Card

Ben wrote about Lee Valley’s woodworking deals earlier today.

There are still some special buys, and they still have discounted gift cards on sale. I just might have to buy one of these myself – $500 in buying power for $430? Seems like a great deal for a retailer and toolmaker that rarely discounts their tools. There are a couple of Lee Valley and Veritas tools on my 2020 wishlist that a discounted gift card would be nice to use on.

Note: the gift cards can’t be used on Festool or Sawstop products.

KC Tool

KC Tool Black Friday 2019 Tool Deals

OH! KC Tool’s weekend tool deals are still going strong.

And, here’s a secret bonus – spend over $250 and you get a FREE Wera tools advent calendar!!

Reader Deal Finds

Do you know of any other tool deals you’d like to share?

What did you buy?

I didn’t order any tools today (mostly because I was too busy, but also because nothing from my wishlist was discounted), but I might take advantage of Acme Tools’ weekend promos to buy a Powermatic jointer. Maybe. Their 10% discount comes around every so often. I have a lot of cleaning to do before I could fit a jointer in my shop, but I don’t know when the next promo will be. I’ve taken advantage of Jet promos last year and the year before, for my dust collector and air cleaner, but those aren’t impulse buys.

There’s a strong chance I’ll stock up on some supplies or upgrade a corded power tool by means of Acme Tools’s 15% promo. You’d think I would have planned or thought about this ahead of time, but things never work out that way.

I’ll probably check out Zoro’s site again once I’m done with work and the kids go to bed, but there’s nothing on my immediate wishlist.

I’m also going to be checking out Amazon’s Wera tool promo again. The Tool Check is a really good price, but I don’t think I need another one. I picked up the precision screwdrivers last year.

Stuart, I don’t see any deals for Veto Pro Pac anywhere, do they not honor Black Friday or Cyber Monday at all? Thanks!

      No?

I don’t remember seeing any mentions in my inbox.

But… Acme Tools is a Veto Pro Pac dealer, and their CYBER15 promo seems to work on the bag I just added to my cart for testing.

Shortcut link to Veto Pro Pac bags at Acme Tools

There’s a free bag offer on select SKUs right now, but it’s cancelled out by the 15% coupon.

Awesome #1 ToolGuyd! Keep these new finds coming, wallet is burning up Lol.

Bummer that 15 % got cancelled, I even tried to find a store locally, but to no avail for Veto Pro Pac. It seems they only cater to the HVAC-world, as no big box retail store like a HD or Lowe’s stocks Veto.

I mean that the “buy this, get a free tool bag” offer was cancelled. The 15% looks to still be working on the tool bags.

I emailed them a week before Thanksgiving, nobody got back to me and I forgot all about it. I also never received any newsletter notice from them. Out of sight, out of mind.

Back in 2017, they had a 30% promo, and we nudged them to offer ToolGuyd readers an “early bird” 32% promo on Thanksgiving.

20% is good, but a little disappointing. With shipping fees, it almost kills the deal unless you spend a lot.

Still, this IS the best time to buy any PB Swiss tools. Thank you for the reminder!!

I think I had something on my figurative wishlist. Maybe I wanted another technician screwdriver?

Hopefully Acme doesn’t try and cancel orders for that Dewalt kit at that price haha.

Before I noticed that I was even emailing them asking if they would price match that $849 kit to Lowes for $549 but they wouldn’t because Lowe’s is out of stock.

Thanks again for all your help! Hopefully I can sell my tools for $200 meaning I got a 7 piece brushless kit with batteries for $350 🙂

CPO got my money with some crazy deals

    Estwing Quiet Compressor E5GCOMP $147.1

    Flex 7” 15A grinder $44.62
    Flex 5” 12A variable speed $36.12

Flex 12 gallon Hepa Vac $180
    Replacement Hepa filter $39.37

    Amazon: L-Rack $61.50*
Seemed to be matching CPO’s price and was allowed to apply 20 off 100 with some other Bosch consumables.

I also did the Acme brushless 20v Jigsaw and Sander deal for $175

I think most of their really crazy pricing was first thing this morning. They seem to price a bit erratically, which works if you catch it, but can be frustrating too.

I hit KC Tool pretty hard on Friday. Everything arrived today and as usual I am very impressed with the promo offerings.

I got another Freud Glue Line Rip blade from Amazon, and a plasma cutter from Tractor Supply. Other than the blade, I did not get a tool from Amazon or Home Depot Fri-Mon, a huge departure from prior years.

I would have bought the Flexvolt blower/chainsaw combo in this post, but I already own both. It does seem like the same normal things are discounted year to year, and I now likely have a lifetime supply of the basics.

I did previously buy a number of holiday season promos from HD, but none that were only available this weekend. If Ryobi had offered a $99 battery starter kit with the inverter I would have done that. Now looking out for that next summer.

Thanks for tracking all of these things. I find some on my own, but many due to this site.

Thanks for all the work highlighting deals from so many places. Toolguyd has been my go-to for tool deals.

My haul was mostly from KCTool. Got a full line of Wiha impact bits, some insulated pliers/cutters and a ratchet set. These are all very nice upgrades that I’ve been wanting but not needing to make for a short while now. A personal goal this year is to convert my primary means of measurements to metric. So a few measuring tools from KC made its way into my cart also.

Completely unnecessary purchase, but grabbed the M12 installation driver with the 6.0ah from HD.

I have the same goal but it’s hard!

I can safely say I’m dual standard now. Switching between the two randomly as I work through a project.

All my tools and measures are metric, except for tape measures which are both inches/mm. I think that’s making me lazy but I haven’t found a good set of 1m, 5m and 25m to buy.

Hopefully next year I will switch to metric first!

How does this work with so many things in the USA being inherently standard? 2x4s, studs 16” on center, etc.

Maybe Ben V is building mostly furniture/cabinets/craft projects not houses. If most of the houses you build are bird houses – the birds probably don’t care if they are built to metric or inch standards.

You’re further along than I am lol.

Since the vast majority of my tasks use lengths shorter than 72″, I’ve been using wooden folding rules over measuring tapes as a personal preference. So, the Wiha folding rule in metric is easy to switch over to: https://www.kctoolco.com/wiha-61662-maxiflex-folding-ruler-metric-inch/

But for longer lengths, I’m having a tough time finding good metric tapes also.

Just wondering – what situation caused you to consider going metric?

I’ll share my purchases to benefit my fellow Canadians:

    – Home Depot had a Ryobi Drill/impact driver kit for $88 as a Black Friday Special Buy. Not sure if its sold out now, but worth a look.
    – Home Depot had the Packout 3-piece tower for $228 and the Dewalt Toughsystem 3-piece for $197. KMS tools was selling the bottom rolling unit for $89 (which I personally PM’d at Home Depot and got for ~$80 with free shipping because I didn’t want to drive into town to pick it up).
    – Amazon had the Olight I1R 130-lumen rechargeable (very small) flashlight for $16.76 (I just checked though and it’s back up to just over $20 – I bet it drops down again before Christmas). I bought two to give as gifts.
    – Home depot had the Milwaukee Fastback 2-pack with 50 blades for $19.88 (it’s the previous generation models however, whereas the USA got the newer versions for about the same price).
