These Limited-Time Tool Deals are Perfect for Woodworkers

A lot of new woodworking deals just launched at major tool retailers, and this post will focus on some of my favorites.

There were plenty of deals for Black Friday, and there will be more for Cyber Monday. For this roundup, I focused on some of the best deals I’ve found on the tools and gear I’d buy for myself.

This perfectly sets up pilot holes in wood for countersunk flathead screws in #6, #8, #10, and #12 sizes.

Skil 10″ Table Saw with Folding Stand – $249 at Amazon

You might also want to pick up the zero clearance insert plate. If not, it’s still good for you to know it exists. There’s also a dado plate, which is surprising – it’s nice to know that this model can be used with a dado stack.

3M Pro Hearing Protection Earmuffs – on sale at Amazon

I’ve got these earmuffs and often use them around noisy tools and woodworking machinery – they have an NRR or 30 dB.

Craftsman Air Compressor – $99 at Lowe’s

Pancake-style air compressors aren’t the best you can get, but they’re portable, functional, and a good value.

Dewalt 150 PSI 6-Gallon Air Compressor – $149 at Amazon

Milescraft Push Block – $29.99 at Amazon

Push blocks are often used with table saws, jointers, router tables, and other types of woodworking machinery where you move the work over a cutting surface. When used properly, they add another barrier between the blade and your hands.

This is one of the best-regarded 5″ sanders on the market.

Jet says that this table will hold tools up to 400 lbs.

Bora Folding Sawhorses with Adjustable Legs – $89.98 after coupon

A reader asked about the model with adjustable legs – here you go! According to Bora, these sawhorses have a built-in bottle opener.

Kreg K4 Pocket Hole Jig – $64.99 at Amazon

Kreg has a wide range of pocket hole jigs – this one seems to be in the middle.

Kreg Compact Pocket Hole Jig – $40 at Home Depot

This one’s similar to the jig I started out with, and still looks to be a great way to get into pocket hole joinery. Way back, my kit cost around the same amount, but didn’t come with the clamp.

Bosch 14 Gallon HEPA Dust Extractor Vacuum – $699, or $489 after various coupons at Acme Tools
