It’s Back! Dewalt $25 off $100+ Holiday Discount 2016

If you buy something through our links, ToolGuyd might earn an affiliate commission.

Dewalt DCD791 Brushless Drill

Dewalt’s $25 off $100+ holiday discount is back for 2016! You can take advantage of this deal over at Amazon, Home Depot, and presumably some other retailers.

There are some tools that aren’t eligible for the discount. For example, Dewalt Tough System tool boxes don’t seem to be eligible at Amazon. The large Tough System tool box DOES seem to be eligible for the discount at Home Depot, but not the other components you can use to build a rolling tool box stack.

Dewalt Tstak tool storage products are also eligible via HD, but not at Amazon.

Some of the Dewalt items included in Home Depot’s Black Friday PRO sales event seem to be eligible for the $25 off $100+ online promo, deepening the savings.

FlexVolt tools don’t seem to be eligible for the promo. Bummer. Still, there are plenty of other tools that are, including a few things on my wishlist.

The discount is automatically applied at checkout. At Amazon, make sure you order from Amazon as the seller, and not a 3rd party marketplace seller. At Amazon and Home Depot, make sure the eligibility is mentioned somewhere on the page.

Promo ends 12/22/2016.

Buy Now(Info via HD – sorry, I haven’t found the promo offer landing page yet)

Hey Ben, I know you’ve been looking for a new sander, and your Festool Pro LTD is still months away from being built and delivered. The new 5″ ROS and 1/4 sheet sander come out to be $104 before coupon, and $79 after. Or maybe the 5″ ROS sander plus some accessories or other items that might be on your Dewalt wishlist.

Yup, I noticed that too (did I bury it too deeply in the post?). But most are eligible at HD.

Oops, sorry, was half asleep when I skimmed the post and went directly to the Amazon link…

          lol, that’s okay.

Great minds think alike? My “is it eligible or not?” quest typically starts with the Tough System tool boxes, which I don’t think were eligible last year either.

Home Depot will price match products sold & shipped by amazon (but not third parties).

I ordered four tough system organizers, reg. $39.97 ea at homedepot.com, price matched to $22.74 ea. Search amazon for “tough system organizer” for reference; lowest priced one (at time of this writing” is sold/fulfilled by amazon.

Here’s how the math works out:

      $115.96 = $28.99 price match x 4 units
      -$25.00 (eligible for $25 off $100 @ HD)
$90.96 for four, includes free shipping
      $22.74 each

I called Home Depot (800-HOME-DEPOT) to place the order as the agent had to apply the discount manually.

      As always, YMMV…

The ds150 is included at home depot lessening the price difference between it and the ds130

Need to replace my jobsite saw and was going to spring for the DW7491RS… any thoughts on whether table saws are going to get any better than the $25 off of $100?

Alright! Time to add some Tstak boxes to my lineup. I know I need more drawer units.

I have a 2 shallow drawer Tstak box and the 4 wheel Tstak cart sitting in my garage that I don’t use. The 2 drawer is unused as far as I can remember and might even have the tags on it still. The cart has light use and was put on a shelf when my storage needs changed about 18 months ago. I’m not sure what Stuart’s rules are for posting links or contact info for items for sale here are so I’ll wait to post my contact info to see if he weighs in.

Generally, links to Craigslist or ebay auctions are not allowed, and I strongly frown upon contact info being publicized.

If I let one person, I then have to let everyone or decide on a case by case basis, and things’ll get out of hand really fast. Then a deal might go wrong and I’ll be pulled into the middle of things.

I do appreciate your hesitation and respect, and wish I could bend the rules just a little. If anyone wants your contact info within a day or so, I’ll pass their email along to you. Sounds fair?

I just bought a Dewalt miter saw stand at CPO/ Tyler tool. They took $25 off and included a tstak, because it was more than $50 in Dewalt accessories.

Sears is also participating in the Dewalt $25 off $100.
Just checked the DCF882D2 ipact driver kit I’ve been eyeballing.
    $199 regular price, $174 after $25 off.

      You’re very welcome!

That’s exactly how things started – I had a limited budget and lots of needs, so I got into the practice of researching to “buy once” without being disappointed.

I cannot guarantee what your experience will be, but in past promos I had no difficulty placing multiple orders to get multiple $25 off discounts.

I placed two orders at HD- some items to be shipped, some for local pick-up.

When I got to the local HD, they were out of tough system boxes and couldn’t guarantee they’d get them back in stock. Customer Service employee cancelled both orders then called the toll-free order line and placed two new orders with all items shipped free to my home.

They were very helpful and made a point to insure both orders received the $25 off promo. They had no issue with using it twice.

      Three more DS300s @ $29/ea 🙂
