Dewalt Black Friday 2022 Deals at Home Depot

Home Depot’s “FREE” Dewalt 20V Max cordless power tool promos are always popular, and for good reason – they offer incredibly high value and “bang for the buck.”
If you ask me, the starter kit ($199) and 4-tool combo kit ($599) are going to be the best and possibly fastest-selling deals of the season.
Dewalt 20V Max 2-Battery Starter Kit + 1 FREE Tool – $199
Dewalt Atomic 4-Tool Combo Kit + 1 FREE Tool – $399
Dewalt Premium Brushless 4-Tool Combo Kit + 2 FREE Tools – $599

If you’re looking for a compact cordless drill and impact driver combo kit, the Atomic Series 2-tool kit might be a good fit.
The accessory deals are also hard to pass up. I ended up buying another drill bit set myself – it’s worth it if even for just a few sizes and the ToughCase!
Dewalt Atomic 20V Max 2-Tool Combo Kit – $149
Dewalt 30pc MaxFit Impact Screwdriver Bit Set – $9.97 ($3 less than last year!)
Dewalt 10pc Drill Bit Set – $5.97 ($2 less than last year!)
Dewalt 20V Max Atomic 2-Tool Cordless Combo Kit – $249*
* If you want an upgrade, Home Depot also has a special price on a 2-tool combo kit, featuring the latest and greatest compact brushless drill and popular Atomic 3-speed impact driver.

You can also get the Dewalt Atomic Series cordless drill and impact driver separately, at $99 each for the respective kits.
It’s nice that you get 2x batteries with each kit, even if they are compact/lower capacity sizes. With cordless power tool batteries, 2 can be better than 1, as you can have one on the tool and one on the charger.
Dewalt 20V Max Atomic Drill Kit – $99
Dewalt 20V Max Atomic Impact Driver Kit – $99

This seemed like an okay deal at $14.97. At $9.88 online or $9.97 in-store – I bought a set for my own use. How could I not?!
Dewalt 12pc Impact Drill Bit Set – $9.88

While not a major deal, this modular right right angle adapter is a neat way to access fasteners in tighter spaces. It launched in 2021 is regularly ~$25.
Dewalt Modular Right Angle Adapter – $19.97

For all of the folks that are asking “which is the BEST Dewalt cordless power tool combo kit on sale for Black Friday 2022?,” this is it.
Dewalt 5pc 20V Max FlexVolt Advantage Cordless Combo Kit – $499

You can find special buys on the Atomic compact circular saw and reciprocating saw. I bought the recip saw a few years back, and it’s convenient for quick and light tasks where a full-sized tool is either overpowered or unwieldly.
The compact circular saw is also significantly smaller and lighter than full-size saws.
Dewalt 20V Max Atomic Compact Circular Saw – $129
Dewalt 20V Max Atomic Compact Reciprocating Saw – $129

If I didn’t already still have plenty of Dewalt MaxFit bit sets from previous years, I’d buy this assortment in a heartbeat. I like (most of) the drilling and driving bits, but more than that I like the large ToughCase, which doesn’t seem to exist outside of deal bundles like this one.
Dewalt 120pc MaxFit Impact Bit Set – $29.88

If you need common DIY and construction essentials, there are two hand tool deals – a 2-pack of jab saws, and a 2pc knife set.
Dewalt Jab Saw 2-Pack – $16.88
Dewalt Folding & Utility Knives – $16.88

This is a good deal for a great folding workbench. Surprisingly, Home Depot is offering free shipping on it right now, saving you a trip to the store, although I’m not sure how that will work.
Dewalt Folding Workbench – $89

While not quite the same as last year’s deep Pro organizer deal, the price is decent for what you get. I bought two – I can always use more shallow parts organizers, and these nest with the other Dewalt organizers I have.
Dewalt 10-compartment Parts Organizer – $12.88

Dewalt ToughSystem 2.0 3pc Tool Box Combo – $199

Dewalt ToughSystem 2.0 2-Drawer Tool Box – $99

The Dewalt DWE7485 is a compact 8-1/4″ table saw, with 24.5″ rip capacity and excellent rack and pinion fence.
Dewalt DWE7485 Table Saw – $299

Buy the Dewalt DWS779 12″ sliding miter saw, and get a free portable stand. Not only that, you have two options and can choose between a folding stand or rolling stand.
Dewalt 12″ Sliding Miter Saw with FREE Stand – $399 at Home Depot

This year’s Atomic oscillating multi-tool kit comes with a compact 4Ah battery.
Dewalt 20V Max Atomic Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit – $149

This popular air compressor and brad nailer bundle is back. It is strange to see on the sales floor, in the middle of an ocean of cordless power tools, but there are still plenty of reasons to get a corded air compressor.
Dewalt 6-Gallon Air Compressor and Nailer Kit – $219

If you’re rocking an air compressor and need a new brad nailer, Dewalt’s Precision Point model is a tried-and-true recommendation.
Dewalt 18-Gauge Air Brad Nailer – $99

A remnant from Home Depot’s PRO Black Friday tool deals, this Dewalt 21° framing nailer is back on sale. Two of my local stores sold out already, but there appears to be plenty available online.
Dewalt Air Framing Nailer – $229

Dewalt 20V Max Cordless Brad Nailer – $249

Dewalt 20V Max Cordless Finish Nailer – $299

I like the idea of a mechanics tool set that comes with customized trays. You can use them with ToughSystem 2.0 tool boxes, but Dewalt’s trays are also shallow enough to fit inside many sizes and styles of mobile workbenches, roller cabinets, tool carts, and tool chests.
Dewalt 131pc Mechanics Tool Set with ToughSystem Trays – $99
Dewalt Black Friday 2022 Deals at Lowe’s
Lowe’s has some decent Dewalt tool deals as well!

Dewalt 20V Max Starter Kit + 1 FREE Tool – $199
Dewalt 20V Max Power Detect 2-Tool Kit + 1 FREE Tool – $379
Dewalt 12V Max XTREME 2-Tool Combo + 1 FREE Tool – $199
Dewalt 100pc FlexTorq Impact Bit Set – $39.98

There are a couple of new deals this year. The Dewalt 20V Max XR cordless 5″ random orbital sander, for instance, is now kitted with a higher capacity compact 4Ah battery.
The oscillating multi-tool kit special buy is also different – it comes with more accessories, a depth cutting guide attachment, and a compact 2Ah battery.
Dewalt 110pc ToughGrip Bit Set – $25.98
Dewalt 20V Max Brushless Drill Kit – $99
Dewalt 20V Max Brushless Impact Driver Kit – $99
Dewalt 20V Max Cordless Sander Kit (4Ah) – $149
Dewalt 20V Max Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool – $149

Dewalt 12″ Miter Saw + Folding Stand Bundle – $449 – (the Home Depot deal is a better price)

Lowe’s has surprised us by holding one of the best Black Friday shop vacuum deals this year. It’s priced a bit higher than the doorbuster deals a lot of long-time shoppers might have expected, but it also looks to deliver a lot more.
Dewalt 9-gallon Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum – $99 – Read More Here
Dewalt Deals at Other Stores
Home Depot and Lowe’s aren’t the only tool retailers with Black Friday savings on Dewalt tools, accessories, and equipment! Here are some of them:
Dewalt 12V Max Xtreme 5-in-1 Drill/Driver Kit – $149 at Acme Tools
Dewalt FlexVolt Cordless Circular Saw Kit– $269 at Acme Tools
Dewalt FlexVolt Cordless Reciprocating Saw Kit – $269 at Acme Tools
Dewalt 20V Max 4-Tool Cordless Combo Kit – $249 at Amazon
Dewalt 20V Max Battery 4-Pack – $159 at Amazon
I didn’t want to fit everything here, just the ones that I thought deserved a little extra attention.
Following are links to some of our other Black Friday gift guides. There, you’ll find more Dewalt tool deals, such as on cordless power tool batteries, bare tools, and additional combo kits.
If you’re looking for deals on other tool brands, we’ve been covering that too – check the links at the top of the page for more.
Mike
Awesome article. Thanks for the hard work.
Disappointed in the tough system price. It was 149 last year. I know it’s 2022 not 2021. For $20 more, it seems packout is the way to go.
Stuart
Thank you, I appreciate it!
It’s possible that prices will change next week, but it’s hard to tell. A lot of things were less expensive last year.
Mike
The Dewalt rep at the home depot in Bricktown, NJ said the new 5ah power stack won’t be released in stores until Q1 2023 (I hope he’s wrong) . He also said Dewalt struggled this year to match some sale items from last year (ie tough system, though there is a much better tough system 2.0 deal online for 179 with free organizer). He also said the 6/4ah battery deal is so hot they will not be shipping anymore battery kits to stores, it will be online only and they are planning to reduce the number of kits you can buy per purchase. He claimed all this was memo’s he got this week from corporate. Not sure any of this matters or is helpful, but it was what he said. Apparently, if you talk with them enough you get free 2ah batteries or other accessories.
Mopar
I *REALLY* wish Dewalt would get more competitive with Milwaukee in this area. (Home Depot as well. None of the stores I visit in multiple states stock much if any tough system.)
Right now, the packout is the clear winner, EXCEPT for the fact that it’s color and design are so distinct it screams “Steal me!”. Which is a main reason why I use the far subtler tough system.
Mike
There are 2 online only deals where tough system 2.0 is either 179 or 181 and you get a free drawer organizer thing. I guess the question is pack out $40 better than tough system?
Mopar
Milwaukee $40 better because once you buy that Tough System deal, good luck easily expanding it. Keep in mind, I am saying this as someone who is personally invested in the TS setup. How much TS stuff can you find locally vs PO? On top of that, even buying online, there is not the same selection of stock. Tough System stuff rarely seems to go on sale, and when it does, it’s either an entire starter system like here, or some 3 minute flash sale. Then there is the confusion. Often when searching for tough system stuff, the tough stack and tough case stuff is included, so you have to be careful since they look the same online but do not interchange. Then ya got the tough system and tough system 2.0 that is supposedly comparable, except for the stuff that isn’t. Dewalt should just eliminate the t-stack and tough case lines, standardize everything into the tough system and use those extra skus to offer and stock more options in the tough system line.
Vards Uzvards
“Dewalt should just eliminate the t-stack” – please don’t say that out loud 😐
Mopar
“Dewalt should just eliminate the t-stack – please don’t say that out loud 😐”
Yea, I know people like the Tstak stuff, but IMNHO it dilutes the Dewalt line. Dewalt is supposedly SBD’s “pro” tool line. The Tough System is their pro storage. Tstak wouldn’t really die, it would still live on as SBD’s Craftsman Versastack system.
Mike
Since you seem so knowledgeable let me ask you what you recommend to buy. I am not a contractor, just a hard core weekend warrior. All my tools are stored in my little work shop in the basement. I’m tired of making several trips up and down for each project. What system is best? I know pack out is best, but I mean what’s the enst for the money for my use? Packout has more accessories, but most I wouldn’t use and they are pricey. I like the idea of the Dewalt wall stacking system to save space. I don’t mind spending the money on packout, I just want the nest system for stairs and I don’t want to waste money. Most of my tools are yellow, so I’ve been looking at the Dewalt, but color doesn’t matter. I just want the best bang for my buck and the best for stairs. The rigid system is much flimsier than the Dewalt (at least the one I saw at my HD) so I think my choice is Dewalt, Milwaukee, or flex if it ever went on sale. Again my use case is storage in basement and traveling up and down stairs for house projects.
Stuart
@Mike – Packout unless 1) price is a strong factor, 2) other systems offer something you strongly prefer.
Robert
For high end table saws, Harvey is having some Black Friday sales through midnight tomorrow (18 Nov) 28 to 14% off, depending on the model. I rarely see their table saws at those savings.
https://www.harveywoodworking.com/
They also say 10% off on most accessories, but I’ve seen them do better on accessories before off BF.
Sergey
Milwaukee 15Ga nailer is currently on sale at HD stores for $239! Less than their sale price of 18Ga. Gen 2! I’m not sure if that’s a very time limited deal, but I just got it at that price. Unbelievable, over 30% off regular price of $349.
It looks like this is an in store only price as online it still goes for $299.
Stuart
I haven’t seen that yet – I have only see the brad nailer for $249 and the finish nailer for $299
Jacob L
Ya it’s been in one of my local HD store adds for at least 1-2weeks. I saw it online and thought it was a typo because I remember seeing it at $299 price at another local location.
Mr Fee
Dont forget the dewalt 18 gauge 20v brad nailer at https://www.grainger.com for $199.
Jerrick
Thanks for you’re efforts, Stuart! Greatly appreciated.
Clay
Rolling stand for the DWS779 deal is out of stock online, FYI.
MFC
Hey Stuart, Your Picture of the Milwaukee and Makita Black friday deals posts were nice. Why does DeWalt get a cheesy Lowes/Homedepot thumbnail? Lol. Sorry, I just like congruity.
MFC
Nevermind, I see this is HD and Lowes specific. Missed the other one. TOO MANY DEALS!
Stuart
“Too many” is subjective!
We’re nearing critical mass soon, at which point I’ll switch to “what is important to record for next year’s reference?” mode since I’m running out of ink and paper, and even if not my hand is cramping up. Then we get to Black Friday and Cyber Monday after that, and then I can finally start to turn off the deal-seeking and analysis machine!
Stuart
I thought it was a nice clean effort! I’m also always up for suggestions. Featured images and post titles can be difficult to settle on.
Cheesy is acceptable if it allows for quick visual-descriptive reference.
MFC
Yeah, you’re doing great. I liked the clean Makita/Milwaukee thumbnails next to each other. If you had all three in line it’d be my idea of congruency and a “perfect” layout; a deal trifecta.
My opinion on thumbnails is also subjective so focus on functionality and sanity instead of the “perfect” look.
And yeah, “too many deals” is sarcasm, cuz it ain’t possible! Keep it up!
Stuart
Maybe, but a ~1:1.25 aspect ratio works better on the front page for “thumbnails.”
Super-narrow thumbnails can either effect text wrapping a bit, or they get cropped and don’t give a full at-a-glance idea of what the post is about.
Rog
Saw this deal at my local Ace yesterday and thought it was a great deal for someone who wants to get into Dewalt and the Powerstack batteries. This has the (preferably) better DCF850.
$229 for the Atomic drill/impact combo, two PS batteries and charger:

Those parts organizers are tempting. Seems the price for such things have skyrocketed as of late. Anyone have a recommended cheap model with deeper bins? I loved the old Husky version, but HD discontinued that. I use them for the craftsroom and stuff that stays inside the workshop, I’m not looking for ultra-heavy-duty jobsite boxes.
Robert Pyles
Craftsman has organizers
Munklepunk
Does anyone have any experience with the craftsman Allen wrenches? They have some sets on sale and my mishmash needs to be replaced. It won’t be for work.
