This premium Dewalt 20V Max XR cordless oscillating multi-tool kit, DCS356D1, is on sale for Cyber Monday 2023.
There are other Holiday season “special buy” deals right on oscillating multi-tools, including the same tool featured in this kit. In my opinion, this one is best.
Update: Amazon added a new $10 coupon to help move inventory, dropping the price to $119!

The kit comes with Dewalt’s XR brushless oscillating multi-tool, DCS356, featuring 3 speed settings and a variable speed trigger.
You get a 2Ah battery in this kit, rather than the lower capacity batteries (1.3AH or 1.5Ah) typically included with Dewalt’s other holiday season oscillating multi-tool deals.
The kit also comes with more accessories – 3 blades, a sanding pad, and abrasive sheets – plus an accessory organizer case.
You also get the adjustable cutting depth guide, which isn’t inexpensive or easy to add to a tool that doesn’t come with one.
Cyber Monday Sale Price: $129 $119 after coupon

Very tempted, but I do already have the M12 fuel OMT.
Robert
Do the Bosch carbide star lock blades work with this Dewalt ONT?
Stuart
I believe so, you just have to use the adapter and hex key.
Robert
The carbide blades are back up to $97 for ten, drat.

I haven’t used other OMTs, but the XR is great. Powerful and easy to handle. Blade changes are fast too. I kinda love mine. True, the trigger doesn’t lock, but the three speed settings let you set the max speed, so you can just press the trigger all the way instead of trying to hold it partway in.
Koko The Talking Ape
Oops, I misspoke. It DOES have a locking trigger, but you can only lock it when the trigger is fully depressed. I meant that you can choose one of three speeds for that locked position.

This is an insanely good deal. Hell, almost worth it just for the battery and accessories!
Jason
Well, that worked well. They’re gone at Amazon now.
Steve
This was a fantastic deal.

This is a “Maybe”… I still have the predecessor, the 355 original… I barely use it, and have learned I need the adaptor more than I need blades… But I have been meaning to upgrade to the latest 356 3-speed. What’s the harm in having both? Besides, it also means I can go tool-only and save a bit of money there.
We’ll see. Definitely, we’ll see.
Stuart
As you’re in Canada, wait until you need it. In the USA, this is a great deal considering the price of the tool-only option. The same is true for the $99 special buy kits for this model and the Atomic.
