I can be slow with giveaways (sorry!), but good news – I [finally] sorted through the entries to keep things fair, and have selected the random winners.
First, the FlexVolt giveaway winner:

Rob @ RHHS, You have won a Dewalt Portable Power Station Kit!!
How will he use it?
I own a home service company and find that I frequently need a tool for just a few cuts. Often it takes more time to break out an extension cord and setup than to make the cuts. I’ve worked out a solution to this with dewalt’s flexvolt table saw and miter saw. The missing part is dust collection. I can’t effectively capture dust at the tool with today’s cordless vacuums. The power station would let me set up my vacuum without wasting time with extension cords.
Please let me know how it works for you! I’ll contact you later, and will place the order via Amazon as soon as I can confirm your address.
Next, the Dewalt Tough System Music Player and Charger Giveaway:
Rick – Your new Dewalt music player will be on the way to you shortly. I’ll be in contact to confirm your address (which I already have via the entry form), and that now’s a good time to send it your way.

Lastly, the Dewalt Battery Pack Giveaway:
Justin – You won some Dewalt batteries! But hmm… you said you don’t own any Dewalt tools yet? We’ll help you out with that too. I’ll send you an email later today with some questions and to confirm your address.
Congrats to all! And don’t worry if you didn’t win – we’re gearing up for the next round of giveaways!

Re: the FlexVolt giveaway, I thought if there were 250+ entries, there’d be 3 prizes. Even with the prize pigs trying to enter more than once, I suspect you had enough entries for multiple prizes. Thanks! And keep up the great site.
“Prizes, as in More Than One?
If more than 100 people enter the giveaway, there will be a second giveaway, with a different Dewalt 20V Max or FlexVolt prize, also ToolGuyd-funded.
If more than 250 people enter the giveaway, there will be a third giveaway package, also ToolGuyd-funded.
If more than 500 people enter the giveaway, I’m not sure what will happen – we’ve never had that many people enter a giveaway.”
Stuart
I’m sorry that you misunderstood. The idea was that more entries would launch additional giveaways of different prizes. If I was a little vague, it was because I had not determined what the additional prizes would be.
As the giveaway progressed, I launched 3 more giveaways, the 2 additional ones mentioned above, and a brushless drill and impact driver giveaway: https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/holiday-deal-reminder-dewalt-brushless-giveaway-of-the-day/%3C/a%3E .
I tried to be as specific as possible, saying that there would be a different prize, and different giveaway package.
This was the first time I had considered doing a tiered giveaway like this, drawing inspiration from Kickstarter and other fundraising platform incentives, where there are different accessories or color options made available with different funding milestones.
Thank you! I’ll certainly keep your feedback in mind for future giveaways.
One reason I couldn’t just lump everything into one giveaway was because not everyone would be interested in the other giveaway prizes, and so there were separate giveaways with separate entry comments. I also created shipping info forms, which I hoped would allow for quicker prize fulfillment, and it did in the case of the brushless drill and impact driver combo.

Cool beans! I’m mostly a Makita and DeWalt fan so this is a blast to watch for. Most of my current tool line up is almost at the end of their time, and m’lady and I are having to purchase a new (read, used) home soon so I’m going to be needing a refresh. I’ll be building out a new shop too, and have to snag a new/used table and band saws, jointer, drill press and mortiser. The struggle is real tho’, so I’ll be looking forward to your fun giveaways always! Thanks for the great newsletter, we really enjoy it.
