Update: This deal has ENDED.
The last time I checked the price of Dewalt’s 9.0Ah FlexVolt battery pack, it was at the full price of $199 EACH, and around $279 for 2.

I just checked this morning, and they’re now down to $199 for 2, which is a heck of a good price.
A lot of Dewalt dealers seem to be participating in this deal. It’s unclear when the promo price will end.
Buy Now(via Amazon)
Buy Now(via Acme Tool) – $209, but they’re willing to price match
Buy Now(via Tool Nut)
The 6.0Ah FlexVolt packs are $149 for 2. That comes down to $12.42 per amp-hour. The 9.0Ah 2-pack for $199 breaks down to $11.11 per amp-hour of charge capacity.

While the 2-pack of 20V Max 6.0Ah battery packs aren’t as low priced as in recent weeks, there’s a 3rd party Fulfilled by Prime seller who has them priced at $79.99 each right now. Remember, these packs are a little larger than regular 20V Max high capacity battery packs.

Acme tool link leads to a blank page at the moment…
Stuart
That’s odd, but thanks!
I tested it before, tested it again, and then on another test I also saw a blank page. Weird, but nothing I’ve done I don’t think.
Right now it’s $209 there, but they price match.
JMG
Maybe it’s a Firefox issue. I am still getting the blank page no matter how many attempts.

I’ve been having problems with the Acme Tools site in Chrome lately. I get a partially loaded page with message saying that there’s a problem with their server. Then I open the page in Edge and it’s just fine.
JMG
Seems to be on their end. I navigated through the search menu system and get a blank page when clicking on their menu link as well.

Wow that’s an awesome price .

Pretty good but Milwaukee has that plus a rapid charger
Austin
Milwaukee 9.0s also have less power. They have 20700 and the Milwaukee are made with 18650 cells
Stuart
They have the same power, but the Dewalt packs should run cooler under very high to-the-limit loads, in theory allowing them to be pushed a little harder before reaching thermal limits.
skfarmer
that is just great joe. now explain to us how that helps people that use dewalt. is it just me or is the dewalt bashing getting tiring,
Andrew
This is true. The bigger cells provide significantly more power, but the same work.
Jimmie
That’ll give a nice runtime boost for the Flexvolt string trimmer and chainsaw.
(as an aside, the sooner Dewalt redesigns their 40V and Flexvolt blowers, the better. They’re the weakest link in their OPE lineup)
Sam
Hmm, I currently live with 2 Milwaukee platforms (18 & 28 volt). They each have their place in my work as a carpenter.
Once I observed the new DeWalt platform by fellow carpenters in the last year, I had the feeling that Dewalt’s FlexVolt system is a game changer…one that will challenge and likely surpass Milwaukee’s general dominance…sorry Milwaukee, have to call it as I see it.

They all say $279 when I click on the links, am I missing something??
Stuart
This post was published a year ago, and prices went back up since then. You can try checking back in a few weeks to see if prices went down again. With the holidays fast approaching, I’d expect to see promo prices return at some point, even if for a short time..

Everytime I click on Amazon, acme, or tool nut, it shows full price. I thought you said they were on sale for $199 a 2 pack for the 9 AH batteries.
