Looking to buy a new Dewalt FlexVolt cordless power tool kit? If you buy one now, you can get a free bonus FlexVolt battery pack, valued at $100 to $150.

It doesn’t look like it’ll get any better than this! We took a look at Home Depot’s Black Friday 2016 sales flyer scan when it was first leaked, and this promo was featured there.

These are all fantastic tools, with powerful brushless motors and impressive capabilities.

Acme Tools Eligibility:

  • FlexVolt Circular Saw Kit
  • FlexVolt Table Saw Kit
  • FlexVolt Reciprocating Saw Kit
  • FlexVolt Grinder Kit

Plus, if you order from Acme, you can get an extra $25 off, using coupon code DEW2016. You should see the free battery added to your cart, and the coupon discount should be instantly applied there as well.

(The coupon isn’t supposed to stack with other promos, and in fact breaks the free stand with miter saw promo, and so Acme might fix things if it wasn’t their intention to offer $25 off on top of the free battery.)

Home Depot shows 2 additional FlexVolt tool kits eligible for the discount – their new DCL070 Bluetooth area worklight, and a joist drill, but neither seem to be purchasable at the moment.

The FlexVolt miter saws are NOT included in the free battery promo. A reader told us that it’ll priced even lower than its recent sale price of $699. It’s supposed to go on sale for $599.

And as mentioned in that FlexVolt miter saw deal post, Acme has a different deal, where you pay full price but get a free miter saw stand that’s valued at $199.

The handheld saw kits are all priced at $299 (before coupon at Acme), and the table saw is $499.

Not bad, considering that a 2-pack of FlexVolt batteries, DCB606-2, will set you back $179 to $199, if you can even find them in stock.

Also with any Dewalt 60 volt flexvolt kit you also have the option of a dewalt 20 volt bare tool. http://m.homedepot.com/s/Dewalt%252060%2520volt%2520flexvolt%2520%2520bare%252020%2520volt%2520tool?searchtype=text&NCNI-5

I really hope they eventually come out with a 120v 10″ table saw that can be plugged in. If this one plugged in like the miter box o would probably jump on this deal.

If they do, I’m betting it’ll be a 10″ similar to the DWE7480, or even the DW745.

HD I’m guessing you meant, if you’re lucky enough to have a Menards nearby. Even luckier if they take HF coupons.

After I sell the 2nd battery out of the M18 miter saw kit, end price should be under $300 this week for the saw. Makes selling my Rigid 12″ a bit easier

While I love the idea of a cordless table saw, the fact that it cannot be plugged into a 120v wall socket is a deal breaker. Even DeWalt’s 18v/20v corded/cordless wet/dry vac can be plugged into the wall, yet this tablesaw cannot? I see it as a ploy to get people spending more and more money on DeWalt’s proprietary batteries.

As a remodeling contractor, only one table saw is needed per job, and many times the job is small enough to warrant the usage of a cordless version, but productivity expectations across the spectrum of larger and smaller jobs must be met.

Each crew will only transport 1 table saw along to the job, and if that tool runs out of battery power, the job is dead in the water for an hour or more while the battery charges. Ripping lumber on a cordless version will likely deplete the batteries in less time than a charge cycle.

So unless I buy several extra batteries at about $100 each, I will be paying my guys to wait on a battery to charge. The only other option is to load up a corded table saw, and y\the cordless one as well, which is not only redundant, but more work and more wasted space in the trucks.

Also, when the batteries are outdated, which they eventually will be someday, you are left with an oversized doorstop. If it had a cord, at least it would still be a table saw once the batteries become unavailable. I have been using the same tablesaw for the last 30 years, and I highly doubt that FlexVolt batteries will be around that long. I

If a 18/20v vacuum can come with a cord, why not a 60v tablesaw? That ridiculously oversized power adapter that comes with the 120v Flexvolt miter saw seems quite suspicious, considering their vac doesn’t need any such device. It is likely more about marketing, and making people think that only the tools that are powered by two 60v batteries can be adapted for corded versions. And even if that were true, why bother with a 60v version of the tablesaw, why not just duplicate the system used on the 120v FlexVolt cordless miter saw? It seem to me, DeWalt just wants to sell more batteries and overpriced adapters, without truly offering the customer the best bang for their buck.
