Oh boy, I need to resist but I feel my resistance is already getting weaker as I write this, I hope I at least just order one.

If it makes you feel better, I’m squirming here as well. I could use the L-Boxxes and gift the drill/driver to my BIL.

Yup, I think that’s what I’m going to do.

      Update: Delivery ETA: Tuesday. =)

Looks like I can not handle this kind of pressure since I also just placed an order but I behaved and just got one set, for now.

Really more interested in the boxes, does anyone need a drill?

I just gave in and ordered two more L-Boxx-2s in one order and two more L-Boxx-1s in another with some screwdriver bits to push the second order over $100.

(Don’t forget, Bosch orders over $100 are instantly discounted by $25 at checkout.)

Weird, I tried that with some random little stuff and it not work.
I think I am going to cancel the order than and try it again.

I meant the $25 discount in relation to my additional $100+ L-Boxxes orders.

This combo deal is NOT eligible for that extra $25 savings since it’s a special doorbuster offer.

According to Amazon only one battery is included!

The product image shows two but I also see where it says “one battery.”

The description has multiple mistakes. The Bosch PS21-2AL1A includes one PS31-2A 12-volt max drill/driver, one L-BOXX, one L-BOXX-1A with 13-piece exact-fit accessory tray inserts, one battery, and one charger.

First, this is the PS31-2AL1A kit, not PS21…

It includes one PS31-2A? That model number refers to the two battery kit. PS-31B refers to the bare tool.

So according to the description it should come with 3x batteries and 2x chargers, which is obviously untrue.

Good catch with the battery but that is not a deal breaker for me, I got so many of those.

But I tried to get the $25 discount with ordering two sets but it did not show.

I don’t usually like the work the system to get huge discounts, but man.. was just interested in the LBoxx’s, a free complete set of drill + batteries is huge. I already bought into the Makita 10.8v system, but its tempting to pawn those off considering the Bosch inlays are starting to become available.

    Why must you do this to me Stuart? n_n;

I have just ordered a set and my experience with Amazon is that they only honor what is described in “What is in the box?”.

On a side note there is a review about tool boxes in the new 01/13 Fine Homebuilding, covering Bosch, Dewalt and Festool .

I just started using Bosch boxes a few month ago and while they do not feel as strurdy as the Festool ones, they hold up.
One of my buddies dropped the big one filled to the max from around 2′ on one of the corners onto tarmac and it just put a small dent in that corner.

I surprisingly held strong, I’m top heavy with 12 volt stuff, even though the Lbox alone makes it worth it for the money.

I was at my Home Depot on Saturday, I was surprised at the amount of 69 dollar Bosch Pocket drivers, 29 ryobi 18volt drills, etc were in stock. Nothing seemed to be cleared out like in years past.

Just received it, but it looks like they sent PS31-2AL instead of the PS31-2AL1A, i.e. only 1 L-Boxx instead of 2. Anyone else see the same?

I’m getting my set tomorrow, I’ll post a reply once they arrive! I read some reviews on Amazon, looks like other folks are getting the drill + (2) of the boxes.

So how do you go about rectifying the missing box? I’ve never had that kind of problem with amazon, just curious what the solution would be. Do they even have a number to call and talk to a real person?

A quick email will usually suffice. There’s also sometimes a “call me” button, but I save that for when I need immediate help.

If you look at your order list on amazon, there’s a button to return an item, and one of the return reasons is something like “received wrong item”. They pay shipping and cross ship the new one overnight usually. I should get my replacement tomorrow.

I was looking at the included flyer about the the L-Boxx-3D which I only have seen in Europe for sale but it looks like http://www.ohiopowertool.com/p-4627-bosch-l-boxx-3d-w-space-for-removable-drawers.aspx has them and they also offer $25 off if you go over $100 with Bosch, but I am not sure how much they charge for shipping.

Yep, I noticed that too. Check with Ohio Power Tool earlier in the week, and the L-Boxx-3D case and accessories are expected to start shipping by next week. If you want the -3D badly that’s where to order it from.
