Hmm i didn’t know about the 4000 and 42000. I have the 3966 kit i was given a dozen years ago and i was wishing it had a bit more power last night when i was cutting out a circle in a steel plate with a cutoff wheel. It bogs down very quickly but it’s still the best/only way i have to do certain things.

I bought the dremel 4200 with a bunch of accessories for $100 on sale. I used it twice and I burned the motor brush. Stored it in the garage for over a year, then I decided to fix it recently, called customer service to ask what brush to use, I told them I used it twice and the brush got destroyed. They told me I should be able to use it more than two times, they shipped me a pair of the replacement brush for free.
I kinda wish they sell metal attachment instead of plastic.
