Forget about that 2nd gen hammer drill. For just $10 more you can get the 1st gen Fuel brushless hammer drill, with battery, AND a Packout case. Just search “packout” on HD’s website. There’s a couple other similar deals. I got the same kit back in June for $89 on a special buy of the day, so it may go lower again but I wouldn’t pass this one up if I needed the drill.
Stuart
Yep – posted about that deal yesterday: https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/best-black-friday-2018-cordless-drill-deals/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
The hammer drill is one of the “just okay” deals in this M12 promo.

Ah, I missed your post. Been avoiding looking at drill deals if I can help it 🙂

Stuart, that deal you posted yesterday is for the 2801 M18 drill/driver kit with bag. James is talking about the 2404 M12 Fuel hammer drill kit with Packout box. I also posted about it below. 🙂
Stuart
But I did post about the M12 2404 and 2407 Packout bundles! The M12 Fuel is 4th up from the bottom.

So you did. (sigh) Never mind!

Usually they will have drill/impact combo with batteries for $99 at some point. This is tempting on the ratchets. The band saw too is tempting. I’ve had that in my cart more than once, but told my self to just man up and use my 18v ones.
Stuart
Yes! And sometimes a drill + impact driver combo kit with a free bonus battery, but I think that version of the deal only came around in June 2017 and then June 2018, but not last holiday season.
Mike K
It might have been Christmas 2015 or 2016 when they did the combo kit and a free tool! I might have bought like 3 sets that year!

I ordered 2 of the lights been looking for some DeWalt 20v lights but these seem good and I got 2 with batteries cheaper than 1 DeWalt with no battery. Hope I like em. Reviews seem good.

Wow… For about a day acme must have screwed up because they were offering the two batteries and charger along with only 1 bare tool. Looks like they’ve dropped that deal though.
Koko the Talking Ape
I just noticed that HD also has the M12 Fuel 1/2 hammer drill with battery, charger and Packout case for $99. That looks like a much better deal than the hammer drill above.

Still a good deal, but this seems to be the previous generation (2404), not the newest one (2504).
Koko the Talking Ape
Ah, thanks. Actually Stuart had compared the two earlier this year, but he didn’t mention the model names so I missed it in my site search (fine article, though.)

Also, they had the same deal with the 2504 first appeared. Maybe the 2404 is on the way out.

I haven’t seen this posted yet, and this is the closest related post I could find to post this on.
The Milwaukee 2401-20 M12 screwdriver, with 1.5ah battery, charger, and red zipper case will be $59 at HD on black friday. It is currently on HD’s website at $99, and the tool-only going for $75.
