Last week, I was excited by Enco’s Cyber Monday Sneak Peek promo: 25% off plus free ground shipping. Who wouldn’t be?
So I ordered a whole bunch of things that were on my “when I can find a lower price wishlist”, and other things that I just happened to discover I definitely “needed.”

Isn’t that what we all do with deals like this?
Wouldn’t it be great if I knew when the next 25% + free shipping deal would come around, so that I could have more time to actually post about the deal?
And then Gary sent in this following tip:
I just received a postcard from Enco announcing 25% off all items except machinery, plus free ground shipping, no minimum order. Enter promo code “Special” click apply then enter “offer” click apply. Offer is good until 11/30/15.
What?! Woo!
SPECIAL – Save 25%! No minimum order requirement! Machinery items excluded. Ends 11/30/15 at 11pm ET.

OFFER – Free UPS Ground Shipping! No minimum order requirement. Ends 11/30/15 at 11pm ET.
Clarification: These coupon codes are valid NOW, thru 11/30/15! No need to wait for Cyber Monday or anything like that!
Last year Enco had a special one-day 30% holiday discount, but it didn’t stack with any coupon codes. That was a great deal, and I haven’t seen one like it since.
For a lot of people and many products, 25% off plus free ground shipping is the best offer Enco will ever offer. Sometimes 30% off will be better, but you have to pay shipping, and so things sort of balance out.
P.S. Why didn’t I get a post card?! I kind of feel a little left out.
What are you guys going to buy?!
Need ideas? Check out Enco’s Hot Deals sales flyer. There are some good offers in there, and the coupon codes often stack on top of the discounted prices!
Enco is an industrial supplier, and one that I have had years of great experiences with. They’re owned by MSC, and compared to MSC they often have lower prices but a smaller (but still quite vast) product selection.

A while back I had a 30% off coupon code and a free shipping code AND they stacked. Among other things, I got a really nice pair of IP67 hardened Mitutoyo digital calipers for ~$110.
FWIW, I think Use-Enco and MSC are the same company but it seems that for pretty much everything that both stock, Enco has better prices and discounts. Recently with various discounts, I could get the TE-CO 6″ Kurt style vise for $300 shipped but on MSC it was about $450.

You are right about MSC being the parent company of Enco and their having different prices.
A similar situation exits with Grainger versus their Zoro subsidiary

You guys are bumming me out a little!
At the end of the post I said:
They’re owned by MSC, and compared to MSC they often have lower prices but a smaller (but still quite vast) product selection.
I guess I should have made that part more skimmable?
MSC sometimes offers better prices than Enco when they have special sales, which is all the time. MSC’s discounts don’t stack on any of their sales flyer deals though.
When I need something fast and in perfect condition, I order from MSC if it’s not too much more expensive. They get orders to me a lot quicker, and sometimes with better packaging.
Enco’s selection is limited. That Mitutoyo inside micrometers mentioned in yesterday’s post (https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/holiday-2015-tool-wishlist/%3C/a%3E%29? MSC carries it and other sizes, Enco doesn’t.

Hehehe sorry. While I look at almost all your posts, I must admit to skimming a lot.
Stuart
Most people do, and it’s kind of funny.
I try to keep paragraphs short and with no more than 1 or 2 points.
Worst are the comments and emails which ask “when is this coming out” or “where can I buy this” when there’s ETA info in bold and a Buy Now button. This happens more in emails than in comments. If an ETA is missed, I can understand asking for an update. But when there’s a future ETA already clearly shown in a post?
Sorry for the digression. I really do try to make content as easily skimmable and digestible as possible.

thanks for the heads up on the enco sale for Monday
Stuart
The “Cyber Monday Sneak Peek” deal was last week. The other codes are valid NOW.
