Acme Tools Dewalt Stacking Discount Holiday Promo 11-9-23

Acme Tools has kicked off another round of epic tool deals, this time featuring Dewalt cordless power tools, benchtop tools, ToughSystem storage products, accessories, and more.

This is another tiered promo, where you save $25 off $199+, $50 off $299+, or $100 off $499+ with coupon code JUMPYELLOW thru 11/9/23 11/10/23.

Update 11/10: The deal has been extended and is still valid today.

The new coupon STACKS on top of many existing Dewalt sales and promos right now, which is what makes this an epic deal.

Dewalt’s popular 20V Max cordless power tool starter kit and 1 FREE tool offer, for example, is eligible for extra savings!

Dewalt 20V Max PowerStack 2-Battery Starter Kit DCBP315-2C

Or, consider the Dewalt POWERSTACK starter kit + 2 FREE tools promo. That’s right – you can save extra money there too!

With this offer, you buy the starter kit with 4A charger, compact and 5Ah PowerStack batteries, and choose 2 free tools, with mostly brushless products in the choice selection.

If you’re picking up high-ticket items or a lot of smaller tools, keep in mind that for a limited time coupon code FREE30 gives you a free $30 gift card with orders over $399.

Dewalt’s holiday deals have been extremely good bargains so far. Add up to $100 extra savings and a free gift card, and WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

I’m sorry for shouting, but I’ve seen a bunch of “argh I missed the Milwaukee deal” comments and feel there would have been less disappointment had I been louder about how good of a deal that coupon was.

Acme Tools says that this deal is a 24-hour promotion, suggesting it is only valid on 11/9/23. The Milwaukee promo was extended a second day, but it is not guaranteed they will do the same here.

I am sure there are exclusions, but I have not found any yet!!

From what I can see, 20V Max, 12V Xtreme, and FlexVolt cordless power tools are all eligible, even holiday promo-priced “special buys.”

I have a feeling that this deal is going to cost me a lot of money. I’ve got my eye on a couple of cordless power tools and definitely some ToughSystem, Tstak, and wall storage products.

The new top handle saw is right at that $499 mark, which makes it 20% off a brand new release – https://www.acmetools.com/dewalt-60v-max-top-handle-chainsaw-bare-tool-dccs674b/885911908818.html

Still pricey, but I may have to bite.

You can get the ego with battery and charger for $269. I got the ego 16″ chain saw kit on sale for I think the low 200’s. I would trust ego over dewalt/milwaukee for cordless power tools.

Where? The EGO top handle is also $499 as a bare tool and $769 kitted with a 5Ah. Top handle saws almost always carry a premium over standard rear handle saws, and you can’t really compare the two.

Hmm, this might be the time for me to commit to either Packout or Toughsystem. Right now I have pieces of both of them, which isn’t doing me any favors.

I committed to Packout but have been buying certain ToughSystem products. I use them in different ways, and so the mismatch doesn’t hugely affect me.

If you’re inconvenienced by having two systems, that’s definitely a reason to commit to one.

Looking to buy a cordless framing nailer for general use. Will be my only battery framing gun. Please let me know if you have recommendation. I want to take advantage of this deal.

The Dewalt is ok, the milwaukee is better. Both are good for general purpose

I used the M18 30 deg framing nailer exclusively when finishing the framing on my basement. Not a single jam with hundreds of nails through it.

Zero ramp up time was a major advantage of the Milwaukee gas piston over the DeWalt flywheel mechanism.

It does get heavy after a full day of using it though.

No experience with the team red one just with the Dewalt.

Pretty bulky but otherwise I like it.
But I am just working on smaller projects and think it is not meant for framing a whole house but who knows.

Defiantly happy that I cut the cable 😉 though.

I have the dewalt framing nailer. Picked it up before the milwaukee was out so I only have experience with the dewalt. It can get heavy vs. a pneumatic for sure but I love being cord free. The ramp up time is a thing for sure. 1 jam in like 4000 nails so far but may have been more my fault than anything. I’d look at milwaukee if I had to buy it again but overall happy with the dewalt.

Dang it Stuart, that’s too good to pass up. Jumped on the 2x5Ah battery + 1 free tool deal with the DCS334B jig saw that I’ve been eying for a while. It’s been $145 ish at Amazon (tool only) for months, and $219 at Home Depot, so $175 with batteries is an absolute steal. Thanks!

Really tempted. But I don’t actually need more batteries, and I remember (I think) that cut-off tools going on sale for $99 tool-only a few years ago. Did that actually happen? And am I nuts for hoping that deal will come back?

Did it. $196 with tax and shipping for that DeWalt cut-off tool plus two batteries, bag and charger. I’ll see if I can sell the batteries.

I’m pretty sure that cut-off tool is best in class.

That’s what I’m doing. I grabbed the powerstack kit + two free tools (two of the cordless routers) but don’t need another compact powerstack so I’ll be selling that off. It came to $322 after tax and I figure I can get $40-$50 for the compact powerstack, so $275 for a 5.0 powerstack and two cordless routers is good enough for me to not second guess the purchase.

I think I saw earlier that you already have a few routers. How do you use so many routers? Do you specific bits in them?

I have a bosch 1617evs in my router table, two porter cable 690s; one on standby, the other in a second, smaller router table dedicated to flush trimming, a dewalt dw618 and 618 dedicated to plunge routing tasks, and two ridgid r2401s that I use for edge treatments. The two cordless dewalt routers I have on the way will swap in as my primary roundover and chamfer routers.

So yeah, mostly to keep dedicated setups ready to go. Cordless is a really nice option in my shop where I only have a single dedicated 20 amp circuit. I’ll probably eventually grab the new m18 full size router kit to replace the dewalt 616 and 618.

I mentioned the other day on the home depot free tool post that I was thinking about the powerstack kit+ two routers. I was genuinely on the fence since I already have a handful of corded routers, but another $50 off sealed the deal for me. I don’t really need the compact powerstack battery so I’ll probably sell that one off to recoup some of the cost.

I have a question about the weekly “What’s new” when it contains links to one-day sales that expired three days previously – what’s the point?

I have been a subscriber to the weekly email for several years and value it as a reminder to check for deals that I might use and when it introduces new tools. But what’s the point of sending out a mass email that basically says “Ha-ha you missed this deal three days ago?” Is there some oddity in the way I receive these? (a few days late usually). Is it just the way the “weekly” email goes out – cobbled together from (some now-useless) announcements of the previous days?

AFAIK, product info sources like this often make a small commission on affiliate sales links. So sending out a notice in advance would lead to additional sales and commissions, but sending them out afterwards is… pointlessly irritating?

No. I won’t provide that, but, there are 3rd party services you can sign up for that will do this.

Email newsletters are free for you receive, but not for me to send.

Daily and weekly newsletters cost enough, I’m not interested in sending 2-5X the number of emails per day.

“What’s the point of weekly emails?” You tell me – that’s the option you selected, and that’s what you’ve been receiving.

There are 3 subscription options, and it has been this way for years:

      Newsletter – rare custom newsletters

      Daily Automatic Updates

      Weekly Automatic Updates

The weekly automatic updates newsletter is an automatic list of every post from the prior week.

The daily automatic updates newsletter is an automatic list of every post from the 24 preceding hours.

Both options were available when you first subscribed to the newsletter and remain available today.

There’s an “update subscription options” link at the bottom of every newsletter.

We talked about this last year – https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/toolguyds-email-newsletter-options-explained-2022/%3C/a%3E after I received a similar complaint.

When a one-day deal misses the newsletter deadline, I make it a point to push out a second email to give daily subscribers a chance to see it.

But I am NOT going to push out weekly emails more than once a week. This subscription option is for subscribers who want everything in one email, once a week, and so I respect that.

You are only the second person, in more than 13 years since I’ve been using the same email service to offer the same Daily and Weekly automatic update subscription options, to complain about the weekly email only going out once a week.

I can understand you’re frustrated about missing the deal. Respectfully, what would you like me to do about it?

You can try asking tool retailers to publicly share their limited-time tool deals up to a week ahead of time, but I can already tell you how it’s going to go.

Posts go up once deals are live or known, with few exceptions.

If you want to hear about one-day sales in a timely manner, I suggest you choose the DAILY automatic updates newsletter. Clearly you are disappointed in having only chosen the WEEKLY option.

I should remind you – this will cost you twice as much and will be reflected in your next billing cycle.
