I found the commercial to be amusing and worth sharing with you.

I played around with AI tool images – https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/50-more-ai-created-tool-images/%3C/a%3E . They used AI to create a script, and then acted it out.
There’s a lot of garbage content on social media these days, but this one seemed fun.

I recently purchased the Festool CSC SYS (?) table saw in a Systainer and was prompted to download this app to check on the firmware status of the saw. (Firmware…saw??? LOL.). I discovered that most of my current batteries also have updatable firmware (!!! again) but very few of my tools are updatable. I think the only other updatable tool, which is also a recent purchase, is a v2 Planex. I haven’t event investigated much less actually performed the update on that one because it’s a little hard to imagine that any critical function would be improved (though I’m obviously wrong about that, since Festool wouldn’t have bothered if there weren’t).
In theory the location information is helpful, though I doubt it’s capable of helping to locate stolen tools…just misplaced tools.
And yes, I want the Magic Sander too!

The perception is that AI is gonna make things so much better, easier, faster, etc.. This is just garbage content, like we need any more content…
