At this moment, Lowes has the Bosch Profactor Surgeon 12-in 18-volt Dual Bevel Miter Saw with Laser Guide (Cordless) for $479, regularly $749: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bosch-PROFACTOR-18V-Surgeon-12-In-Dual-Bevel-Glide-Miter-Saw-Bare-Tool/5001905741

That is an awesome deal.
Tom
Great deal. Wish you could use a cord with it. I’ve been waiting for a deal on an axial glide.

I got excited about the OPT deal to get some more Packout items, but it looks like the majority of the core toolboxes are out-of-stock there, and the free ammo tool box only applies to in stock items. Too bad, that would have been a pretty nice score.
Doresoom
Same here. I had been eyeing the Packout buy more save more at Home Depot, and the free ammo can at OPT would have been what pushed me over the edge to make the purchase.

I learned a long time ago that there’s no way I can look at everything – as a tool shopper – and my coverage efforts reflect that.

Combined a couple of the OPT deals to get a Packout Large Toolbox, 2 Packout Organizers, a Packout Crate to get $50 off $199 on Packout. I added a set of the new small Packout organizer bins and a prybar, to get the free Packout Ammo can.
Subtotal was $192 with free shipping plus tax for $209 out the door. Combined retail value of everything is just over $330, so I paid ~58% of full price (plus tax)

Going through the Amazon deals, one sees again that Amazon is THE place to go if you want to buy no-name Chinese goods.
BUT. There are a few deals that might be interesting.
Irwin clamps, blades, bits, etc.
https://www.amazon.com/s?rh=n%3A24222592011
Their 6-inch medium duty Quick-Grip clamp is $10, supposedly 67% (!) off their regular price of $30.43. Seems fishy to me, but hey, this is Amazon, so whatever.
https://www.amazon.com/IRWINQUICK-GRIPOne-Handed-Bar-Clamp-Medium-Duty-1964717/dp/B001JT87RY/
But this looks more interesting: Wiha micro-driver set with case for about 30% off:
https://www.amazon.com/Wiha-75973-Precision-PicoFinish-Screwdriver/dp/B07WX9ZH4X
And a set of eight Wiha pliers, also about 30% off:
https://www.amazon.com/Wiha-32608-Pliers-Cutters-8-Piece/dp/B002QPYRTC
And the 7-inch Knipex pliers-wrench for $53, allegedly 44% off list.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005EXOKJK/
I know these kinds of claims of 2,000% off list are, or used to be, regulated somewhat. You couldn’t just make up list prices to make your discount seem larger. Is that still true?
Stuart
List prices can be accurate or completely unrealistic.
For instance, that Knipex Pliers Wrench has an unrealistic list price of $96.10. Meanwhile, the same exact tool is just $51.47, which is 5% off from the more realistic list price of $54.15. https://www.amazon.com/KNIPEX-Tools-7-Inch-Pliers-Comfort/dp/B000X4PTZ4/?tag=toolguyd-20
The difference between 86 05 180 SBA (your link) and 86 05 180 (my link) is the packaging – usually plastic card with peg hole for retail vs. small box for online sales.
KokoTheTalkingApe
Thanks Stuart, I’m sure you’ve told us that before, but somehow I missed it.
Stuart
You’re welcome!
It’s tricky, and I never remember the difference myself, I just change model numbers on occasion to check for lowest pricing.
