Flex Stack Pack 3-Drawer Tool Box (FS1105)
The 3-drawer tool box features an auto-locking latch on each drawer, to help prevent them from opening during transport. There’s also a security bar, which can be removed and stowed in a slot on the right side for convenient storage.
With a 70 lb load rating, the tool box can hold plenty of tools, parts, and materials.
Each drawer comes with a full set of removable dividers.
Flex Stack Pack 2-Drawer Tool Box (FS1106)
The 2-drawer tool box is similar, but with one shallow and one deep drawer for fitting larger tools or taller supplies, such as spray cans.
Flex Stack Pack Cabinet (FS1107)
The cabinet also features an auto-locking door for secure transport.

When you’re working, lift the door and recess it for quick access to your tools and gear.
If you look closely at this last image, just in front of the latch on the right side, that’s the slot where the security lock bar is stored when you don’t need it.
Flex Stack Pack Crate (FS1104)
The tote/crate can hold a fair amount of gear.
Flex Stack Pack Deep Organizer (FS1303)
The clear-lid deep organizer features an internal length-wise divider, and 6 removable dividers (3 short, 3 long) that create up to 8 compartments.
It has IP65 weather protection and 60 lb load capacity.
Flex Stack Pack 16″ Tool Bag (FS1201)
Flex’s first Stack Pack tool bag has a large handle that swings out of the way when you need to access your tools.
It’s made from 1680D high-density ballistic fabric and features 44 pouches and slots. The divider in the middle is removable.
Flex Stack Pack Dolly (FS1701)
The 4-wheel dolly features all-swivel casters, 2 with locks.
Features include the ability to hang from Stack Pack rack rail attachments when not in use, side grab handles, quick-connected latches (the same as on the tool boxes), tether points, and a 250 lb load capacity.
Flex Stack Pack Worktop (FS1401)
The work surface attaches on top of Stack Pack tool boxes and other hard-shell storage products, providing a flat place to put your tools, and integrated storage bins to hold small screws or parts.
Flex Stack Pack Hand Tool Pouch (FS1202)
The hand tool pouch features 6 pockets – 3 on each side of the front panel.
It can be mounted to the inside of compactible Stack Pack tool boxes, and its rear hook can attach to compatible external rack rail attachments. Or, you can also simply toss it into a tool box or bag.
Flex Stack Pack Folding Wall Shelf (FS1502)
The folding rack shelf has a 70 lb load capacity and folds flat to save space when it’s not being used.
Its vertical mounting brackets are spaced 16″ apart, for convenient mounting directly to wood studs with less guesswork.
There are integrated rack bars on both sides, for hanging power tools and other such items.

Wall-mount rails and box mounting brackets allow for a quick grab-and-go setup.
These wall brackets are also designed with 16-on-center mounting holes.
Flex says these brackets have a 300 lb load capacity.

Flex Stack Pack Roller Tool Box Mount (FS1504)
Lastly, there’s a new mounting brackets that allows users to attach an additional tool box to the front of the rolling tool box (FS1101).
You’ll also need mounting brackets – the same as for the wall mount (FS1505-4) – for the tool box, crate, or organizer you want to attach to the rolling tool box. The brackets have a 70 lb capacity.

These look great, but if they aren’t easily available, then they could fail. Which is sad, because they seem to have more options for organization than the Milwaukee packout system. They also look quite similar to it. Are they made by the same OEM?

Good on them for coming out with all these new options. It’s not for me, because of how heavy they are. But the ones I’ve seen in Lowe’s were very well constructed. The thing they need to do, like every toolbox line needs to do is get rid of the bottom box and make it into a cabinet or drawers. Sure, you can use the dolly to put whatever box you want on the bottom but that’s not going to be helpful when moving them outside or on stairs.

What are you referring to? The wheel base in the image is the “dolly” style, not the “hand truck” style with the box with lid. Which all agree is bad be cause you have to unstack everything to access.

So yes, that’s true of their original rolling tool box FSS1101, but it’s not one of the new products this post mentions. This post announces some drawer units, a “cabinet”, some brackets that mount to the front of the rolling tool box, and a rolling dolly base, as well as a crate, a bag, etc. The drawers and “cabinet” all open from the front, and it appears they’ll still open from the front when mounted on the dolly base.
Hence the confusion. 🙂

Looks like a lot of well thought out features. There’s the drawers we all want. I like the, uh, flexibility of the smaller storage solutions (like to tool pouch) being able to mount internally or externally. Mounting an additional box to the front of the rolling base is an interesting idea.
But most of all, I love the muted gray/black color scheme. Looks neither cheap nor expensive, and doesn’t scream “steal me!!!”
There’s no world where I could personally justify the expense of this system, but it certainly seems like a very appealing alternative to Packout. If money was no object I would be in.

Agreed about the color scheme. They look nice but not over the top, they don’t attract unwanted attention, and it’s easy to see brightly colored tools against the subdued colors of the box. I like many of my tools to be hi-viz, but I don’t want my tool boxes to be.

Unfortunately what I’ve found for the various Lowes by me is that they don’t have in the store most of the Flex line. So you can’t see everything in person.
For example, that last item seems bonkers clever, the “new mounting brackets that allows users to attach an additional tool box to the front of the rolling tool box (FS1101).” But I’d really like to examine that hands on to judge if it would really work well.

In my opinion, Lowe’s has not been giving Flex the visibility it deserves.
Last year, they hid 3pc combo stacks in the remote Pro section wall racks, and then sprinkled some of them throughout the store at the end of the season, such as up top and in random aisles.

These are one of the first to give Milwaukee a real threat, but they are not trying to undercut on price.
Rigid are still the value leader and Dewalt is treading water.

Stuart, few questions:
– Dividers. Can they be configured into long compartment length/width-wise? Are there boxes that fit into/replace dividers?
– Security bars. Security or extra support? Are the (drawer/door) latches strong enough w/o? Do you think people will actually use it?
– Stacking locks. There are the center one connected to the side ones? How do they work?
– Top handle. Do you miss the top handles? Is there one that work with the stacking lock?

Yes. When you have long and short dividers, you can remove the short ones to merge smaller compartments.
The security bars are described as lock bars so you can use a padlock. They could also be used for extra drawer retention, but the active latching mechanisms are fairly strong. Unless your boxes are encountering significant forces during transit, the lock bars can be used for added security against unauthorized access. I think it’s a question individual users will have to answer for themselves.
Personally, as someone that doesn’t travel with drawered units other than on fixed dollies, I’m more a fan of other brands’ drawered units that take less effort to open. The Flex boxes seem stronger though. I have purchased Milwaukee and Dewalt drawered boxes, and Festool which are several leagues lower in strength, and am also testing Ridgid’s.
I passed along my Flex roller tool box stacks to long-term testers. I’m not parting with the drawered units or cabinet anytime soon. They’re better than other brands’ in some but not all regards. I think Flex engineers really did their homework with their system.
The stacking latches work quite well.
Do I miss having top handles? Not really. Most brands’ drawered tool boxes are really two-hand-carry storage solutions. A top handle would provide for miserable carrying, add to their cost, and take up space. An add-on handle for the crates or tool boxes would be interesting, but might put too much stress on the latches.

Impressive line-up now. But I’m so heavily invested in Tstak/Versastack so I don’t see myself switching. I’d go with some of the tradestack stuff but the drawers are too expensive at $99. I will say I like seeing a deeper drawer from someone finally. The cabinet will be interesting to see the internal dimensions. I looked at the Milwaukee cabinet and I couldn’t fit my m18 nail guns vertically inside.

Stuart is this the major news re: storage that you were alluding to in a previous post or is there more to come? (If so, dare you say how many other brands we can expect news from or is it just the red one?)
As others have said, Flex and their black/grey aesthetic does a lot for me as someone in the Makita/MetaboHPT lines and I often think Milwaukee would sell even more Packout if it came in Black with Red lettering instead of the inverse.
A box of valuable gear in high visibility coloring has always seemed misguided to me.
