I also get regular emails from Fluke – and was thinking about one of their nice thermal imaging devices – but find it hard to justify for a retired guy.

Regarding a thermal imaging camera, I ordered an E4 last night (https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/flir-ex-series-thermal-imaging-cameras/%3C/a%3E%29. There are details about how to modify a configuration file to unlock higher resolution capabilities.
While higher-priced thermal imaging cameras are fantastic, I’m hoping that the modification still works and that I can live with the software limitations and specs of the E4. Even if the modification no longer works, the E4 with its MSX enhancement should still yield decent results.
