For Your Zombie Preparation Tool Kit: SOG Tactical Tomahawk

SOG Battle Axe

These SOG tactical tomahawks look bad-ass, and would make great additions to anyone’s zombie preparation tool kit.

For the battle axe version, SOG claims it to be effective as a target ax, SWAT tool, universal backup, or object hung above the fireplace. The double-headed axe is great for throwing and breaching, and the tactical tomahawk is a universal tool for modern man.

All of these axes are priced between $35-50 or so, and feature 420 stainless steel blades. These axes look like cool collector pieces but should still be functional enough for light cutting and chopping tasks.

It’s also worth mentioning that after my frustrating experience with SOG’s poor customer service, I vowed to stay away from their tools (and tacti-cool props) for a while. But if enough people request a review, I may give one of these try.

For Anti-Zombie weaponry I like the WORX JawSaw. I got one from the infomercial. I’ve seen some debate on effectiveness but there is a funny spoof site of they infomercial site. zombie.jawsaw.com It’s worth a look just for fun.

My dad and I run FatherSonPreppers.com and we recently did a serious review of the SOG Tactical Tomahawk. I managed to slice my arm open trying to break it. You guys might love the article. http://fathersonpreppers.com/sog-tactical-tomahawk-survival-review/
