Home Depot Free Milwaukee M18 Tool Deals in-Store Selection Summer 2025 Hero

I spotted new Milwaukee free tool deals at Home Depot, of the typical kind where you get free tools or accessories with select purchases.

All of these deals are online, and some can be found in stores.

Freebie tool deals tend to be among the best values, and give users the option to build custom cordless power tool combo kits.

Milwaukee M18 Cordless Starter Kit plus 1 Free Tool

Milwaukee M18 Starter Kit with Free Tool Home Depot Deal Summer 2025

With this Milwaukee M18 starter kit, you get a compact 2Ah battery, XC 5Ah battery, and charger for $199, and can choose (1) free tool.

Home Depot Free Milwaukee M18 Tool Lower Tier Selection

The freebie options are limited here – you can choose an oscillating multi-tool, Top-Off AC adapter and USB-C charger, cordless vacuum, and sander.

The selection for the higher tier deal, discussed below, is much better.

Price: $199

Milwaukee M18 XC 5Ah Battery 2-Pack plus 1 Free Tool

Milwaukee M18 Battery 2-Pack with Free Tool Home Depot Deal Summer 2025

With this deal, you buy a Milwaukee XC 5ah battery 2-pack and can choose from the same 4 free tool and accessory options with the other like-priced deal.

Acme Tools has a similar deal and offers 2 additional freebie choices, the M18 6-port sequential charger or a heat gun.

Milwaukee M18 High Output Cordless Starter Kit + 1 Free Tool

Milwaukee M18 High Output Starter Kit with Free Tool Home Depot Deal Summer 2025

I like this deal a lot better, or at least feel it’s a much better value.

Here, you buy the starter kit, with 2x High Output 6Ah batteries – NOT FORGE – plus a charger, and can choose (1) free tool from a broader selection of options.

Home Depot Free Milwaukee M18 Tool Higher Tier Selection

The deals list has a bunch of M18 FUEL brushless tools, plus the same brushed motor tools and Top-Off accessory as the lower tier.

It probably doesn’t need to be said, but you’ll get the best value with the higher priced tools, such as the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Gen2 brushless impact wrench ($249 list price), angle grinder ($229), or grease gun ($229). Choices like the inflator, Hackzall, or hammer drill, are also decent values if they’re what you need.

Price: $299

Home Depot In-Store Deals

Home Depot Free Milwaukee M18 Tool Deals in-Store Selection Summer 2025

The two starter kit deals were available at my local Home Depot store. Checking inventory levels online, the better $299 deal is sold out at all of my closest stores. Everything looks to be in stock online.

I didn’t see any expiration date for the deals online, but the in-store signage says the displays will be taken down on 7/20/25.

Some of these deals are available at other retailers, but it looks like Home Depot has some exclusivity. For example, Acme Tools has a $299 Milwaukee M18 freebie deal where you get 2x XC HO 6Ah batteries plus a free tool, whereas the Home Depot tool deal also gives you a charger.

“The selection the higher tier deal, discussed below, is much better.” Maybe this should be “ The selection *with* the higher tier deal, discussed below, is much better.” Thank you for your work putting these together! If one was in the market for 8.0-12.0 Forge batteries, would you recommend waiting for July 4th? Thank you!

      Thanks, *fixed*!

Deals on FORGE batteries tend to be unpredictable. I don’t see anything on the 12Ah right now, and there’s an 8Ah bundle (2 batteries and a dual port charger for $399). It’s okay, but I’d wait.

I don’t think we’re going to see Forge deals for July 4th. HD has a lot of the 12Ah battery in stock, and so there might be a “tool + free battery” or “battery + free tool” promo.

There could be Prime Day deals at online dealers, but that would be a discount rather than Forge-specific promo.

If you’re looking for a promo like they had last holiday season where you buy a 12Ah and get an 8Ah, we might not see it again until next holiday season.

If you need something now, the 8Ah x2 and charger bundle might be best. But that would be the best promo right now, and not necessarily the best promo possible.

Sounds good, thank you. Also, were you able to see my email about the new Marshalltown DF series hammers? I was able to handle some in-person recently. They definitely have the Dalluge pattern, but are more of a successor to the Dawg hammer than the original full polish models. If you could get any more information on them, it’d be appreciated!

I don’t recall, will take another look.

I believe I have a Marshalltown email, will ask for more info.

You should check out your local supply houses for electrical supplies and plumbing supplies. A lot of the times I see those places have quarterly flyers for Milwaukee products with some really good deals. A lot of so-so deals and mostly just regular priced ads, but still I find they’re worth checking out. I’ve bought several bundled and discounted deals from my local electrical supply store.
I once bought the m18 knockout kit and got free draw studs, conduit bender, and poly fish tape.
Got the M18 fish tape and got a free cartridge
Picked up a recip saw kit and got a free fuel oscillating tool.
It’s at least something to keep in mind if you’re looking.

Would like to see a sale on M12 subcompact set. I know there is a buy a set and get 5% off another item (mostly bit sets). But for now, I’m good.

(yeah, when there is a M18 Forge deal… I could use a larger battery)

They have the 2pc combo down to the expected $149. I doubt it’ll get any better than that.

The combo kit with bit set is a better value for $10 more if you can use the bits.

    Regarding the M12 combo…

Be careful with the non-Fuel combo with the third tool added. In my case, I wanted the combo plus the standard 3/8 cordless ratchet, and they price that group at $279. But, you can get the Fuel M12 combo with one free tool — you can select the ratchet — for $229. It says online only, but they honored that 2+1 free offer at the register with no hassle.

Buy the batteries & get the free tool ($299 battery deal). If you don’t need batteries then return them. The cost of the free tool will be much cheaper then if you were to purchase just the tool. You can see the cost by putting the items in your online cart and checking the refund price when preparing to check out.

Good luck with that. Retailers have been cracking down and making partial returns more difficult.
