If you haven’t yet heard of Harry Epstein Co, then now’s your chance to become better acquainted. They’re a small Kansas City-based wholesale tool store that has a phenomenal selection of hand tools. Their specialty is in American-made hand tools, which you can find in their regular and closeout catalogs.
ToolGuyd’s 5th anniversary is coming up, and what better way to celebrate than to give away some neat tools!?

The Prize: Up to $75 worth of your choice of tools from Harry Epstein Co. If you don’t have a wishlist, look around and see what you might like. Don’t feel like you have to max it out, we’ll gladly send you some smaller stuff.
The Rules: Only those with non-PO Box continental US addresses are eligible to enter. Entry period ends 11/22/2013.
To Enter: Simply leave a comment to this post, telling us what you want to win, and why.
A description, model number, SKU, or link should suffice.
Winners: There will be (1) winner selected at random, which will receive up to $75 in new tools from Harry Epstein Co. Additional winners will be chosen at my discretion, with an emphasis on rewarding frequent commenters. We have $150 budgeted for this giveaway, with another $30 or so earmarked for shipping fees.

on my wishlist is the armstrong 3/8 flex ratchet
Stan
I forgot to include a reason why I want these items. I often do restoration work and I can’t tell how enough how useful these brushes are and the zoom spout is. With the other items, those are either to keep my sockets organized or some odd project I am doing now.
I included the model number, the name of the tool, brand as well as a uniform resource locator as well.
I strongly urge each applicant to include the model number and a uniform resource locator as well, as this not only helps Stuart, but helps you as well.
Bob
3/8 ” drive Armstrong Flex Ratchet,11-994. I’ve read good things about it and my old craftsman flex ratchet needs replacing. This one locks -good feature.
Gary T.
I’ve been tying to have a more complete (ha! ha!) set of tools and would love to have a soft sided tool carrier (CLC #1539) and new hammer (Grayvik #90158) to help me get closer to that goal. Thanks for the consideration.
NCD
Armstrong ratchet, #11-994. Regardless whether I win or not, you are to be commended on your many give-aways. Thank you,NCD.
Erik Potter
I’d don’t have a combination square yet for my woodworking. I’d love to fill that gap with the:

Thanks Stuart

skfarmer
epstein hardware and toolguyd, two of a handful of sites i visit nearly every day
add them together for a giveaway? better yet!
i would love to have the norseman tap and drill set #b-18td. i have lots of taps and lots of drill bits but i never seem to have the correct drill to use with the correct tap. putting them together in a nice metal index so all parts stay sharp and together would save a lot of frustration for me. all of that for only 56.55.
anyone who picks the armstrong 3/8 locking flex ratchet will be so happy they will want a 1/4 to match it. if you are a ratchet junkie the 1/4 and 3/8 armstrong aerospace ratchets can be had for 32 and 37.50 respectively, still coming in under the 75 dollar mark for the pair. they are truck brand quality for a fraction truck brand price!
Chris
I would like a set of the C.S. Osborne & Co. transfer punches. It’s one of those tools I would use at work (we have to supply our own tools) somewhat often but just have never got around to ordering a set.
Jerry
More tool giveaways, how cool!
If I were the lucky winner, I’d like either ten Armstrong ratchet 11-994 or else the USA made adjustable wrench 18wf. I do a farm maintanence and a flex head ratchet that locks so I dont skin my knuckles would be a nice addition, as would a QUALITY adjustable wrench, large enough to work on some of the large bolts and hydraulic fittings on tractors and other farm equipment.
Jerry
It should read the Armstrong ratchet, not ten. Darn auto correct.
Walty
I need a good set of reliable american made screwdrivers. The cheap ones I have keeep stripping out screw heads.
Ken Burns
Here’s my Epstein wish list:
Wilde #G262FP.NP.CC 6 1/2″ Flush Joint Pliers
Wilde #G263FP.NP.CC 8″ Flush Joint Pliers
Wilde #RS906 6 Pc Roll Pin Punch Set
Midwest Snips #P6716L Left Cut Aviation Snips
Midwest Snips #P6716R Right Cut Aviation Snips
Midwest Snips #P6716S Straight Cut Aviation Snips
I started out my list by going a little Wilde! I’ve never owned anything by Wilde, but I’ve always heard that their tools were top quality, so I decided to give them a try. I put the Midwest snips on the list because I’m tired of the elcheapos I got at Big Lots.
Kurt
I’d love some new drill bits. http://store.harryepstein.com/cp/DrillBitSets/J-29.html

Jason
I would like the 12 pc Roll Pin Punch Set Wilde #RS912
http://store.harryepstein.com/cp/PinPunches/RS912.html
Many times I have needed a good set of roll pin punches, but usually when I am in the middle of a job I don’t have time to stop to go buy a quality set of punches, so I just make do with the tools I have on hand.
Dave L

Can’t believe there’s a tool store I didn’t know about. It’s a great web site. Bookmarked. Thanks for the steer.

You’re very welcome. =)
Despite not being as large as major retailers, Harry Epstein is one of those stores where you can easily lose yourself in their product catalog – in a good way.
skfarmer

I’d be happy to get a good Norseman Drill bit set (among other things) from HJE. It would be great to have a high quality bit set, instead of the assorted little container of random bits that I currently am using. I’ve had my eye on several different sets from HJE. These are; J-60, SPM-29P, SP-29P and UB78 although any of the sets on that page would be nicer than what I have now! I would use them for just about everything a homeowner who also does part-time remodeling work could use them for.
Jawn
I love that place! Surprise me, if you pick me.

Who Won? Thanks for doing this contest. I love HJE and I have found lots of good reviews and information on this site.
Stan
I am also curious who won as well. All of the items, except for the utility rags, on my list are 100% American made as well.
Stuart
Winners were Josh and Brian; emails were sent out earlier today.
Brian
Stuey, do you mind if I ask which Brian won? I didn’t receive an email, so I assume it’s the other Brian that posted. Anyway, thank you very much for doing this giveaway.
Stuart
Sorry, it was another Brian.
There are 2 more Giveaways active right now at https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/tag/giveaway-bonanza-2013/%3C/a%3E , and we have a couple more planned and in the works.
