The Trio is a unique multi-function rotary tool that can cut, sand, and route wood. It has dropped in price in recent years and $40 is an incredible buy. The next lowest price I could find is $55 via Amazon.

This isn’t the best precision screwdriver available, but for $5 you get a nice assortment of bits and a usable driver. I couldn’t resist. Order online for free in-store pickup.
Boy do I love Bosch L-Boxxes. If you recall, Bosch’s $25 off $100+ promo is in full swing at Amazon, making now a great time to pick up a couple of L-Boxxes for cheap. Well, cheaper. The $25 coupon applies to any L-Boxx combinations as long as your order totals above $100. Or add a single L-Boxx to your cart and stock up on new bits and blades.
What time is it? I don’t know, there’s no clock on my wall. Something like this Craftsman saw blade clock would probably help with that. It’s inexpensive and a little silly, but looks kind of cool to me.

The Dremel link says $79.

It looks like the deal expired in the very early morning, possibly after a certain quantity of sales was reached. Drat. Thanks for the update!

The Dremel Trio was a Home Depot “Special Buy of the Day.” I’d recommend checking the SBotD once a day. It’s hit or miss, though. Today, for instance, they have a fiberglass planter pot. They have had some good tool deals in the past, so keep checking.

It was still valid after 2am when the post went up, so I assumed/hoped the deal would be prolonged.

The dremel trio just isn’t worth buying, my sister got one for my dad when they first came out and the tv commercial showed made it seem like it could do so much when it really can’t. My dad tried using it as a jigsaw and the cuts turned out sloppy and it couldn’t do any thing it advertised it could do, then the build quality was cheap it seemed and felt like a toy. The bits that it came with were worthless since I tried using most of them and when I made cuts to several different things it just took forever when compared to a regular jigsaw, in the end its been shelved and collecting dust as this is more of a “novelty” tool which makes it worthless.
