Home Depot kicked off new tool deals of the day, featuring 84 promos that include Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi cordless power tools, hand tools, accessories, outdoor tools, and more.
There are also some Bosch, Gearwrench, and Ridgid tool deals mixed in.
I’m not seeing any surprises in Home Depot’s tool deals selection today. There are some jumbo value-focused cordless power tool combo kits, which are great for apprentices, DIYers, or pros on a budget, cordless tool bundles and kits, and a couple of Milwaukee hand tools assortments.

One of the deals is a Dewalt XR PowerStack battery starter kit with 1x 5Ah battery, 1x 1.7Ah battery, and a charger, for $149. We’ve seen surprising softening of Dewalt’s pouch cell battery pricing, with the 5Ah battery by itself now available for $99 at multiple retailers. I’m not sure what the implication is there, but the 2-battery starter kit stood out to me.
I’m seeing great bargains, but nothing of the whoa that’s an incredible deal, HURRY!! type. As always, I think it’s worth taking a quick look through Home Depot’s promo list to see if something catches your attention.
Today’s tool deals end at 3am ET 5/3/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.
Other Tool Deals
Lowe’s has tool deals of the day, featuring Metabo HPT cordless pin nailer kit and a corded miter saw.
Acme Tools has a Makita buy more, save more promo
Ohio Power Tool always has some good tool deals

KC Tool’s deal of the day features Knipex mini diagonal cutters – it’s on backorder right now, and I can see why, as Amazon’s direct price is $10 more.
Amazon has a bunch of tools deals too, including select Bosch price reductions that I’m told will be valid for the next 3 months.

Small typo: “ Today’s tool deals end at [XX] am ET 5/3/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.”

Thanks! *fixed*
So that’s what happened. I “fixed” it earlier when it said e am and thought “where’d the e come from.”

Unless I just missed it, or the deal is already gone, I couldn’t find the Dewalt Starter Kit with 1×5.0Ah, 1×1.7Ah batteries and a charger for $149.

Here’s the link. If you scroll through the list, it’s in the “hand tools and power tool accessories” section towards the end.

I found it via Google, but it was online only for me, so maybe my HD search was set to, “available in store.”
Ordered it online.
Thanks, Stuart

Home Depot tool deals of the day and Pro tool deals of the week are always exclusively available online. If you go to a store, even if they have the same product, won’t give you the deal. You’d have to order online for pickup.
