Black Friday 2024 is here, and so of course Home Depot is having a flash sale with huge deals on Milwaukee cordless power tools, hand tools, and accessories, with some Dewalt, Ryobi, and other brands mixed in.
You should definitely check out the full list of tool deals of the day, and then head back here to take a look at the ones that stood out to me, and to share your own.
Let’s talk about some of the highlights:

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Mid Torque Impact Wrench with Starter Kit – $189
This M18 FUEL brushless motor 1/2″ cordless impact wrench sells for $249 right now by itself, and yet somehow Home Depot is selling it with a battery and charger for $189! There’s also a stubby 3/8″ impact wrench bundle for $10 more.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Barrel Grip Jig Saw with Starter Kit – $199
Milwaukee’s M18 FUEL cordless jig saw isn’t a regular promo item – not that I’m complaining. It looks like Home Depot has far fewer quantities of this deal available than some of the others. In other words, if you’re interested hurry up before it sells out. (That’s my typical advice for flash sales like this anyway.)

Milwaukee M12 Rocket LED Worklight with High Output Battery – $134.99
This is my favorite Milwaukee cordless worklight, featuring a collapsible tripod base and extending head, and it’s bundled with one of Milwaukee’s best M12 batteries.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Hackzall Cordless Reciprocating Saw with Starter Kit – $159
This is hands down one of the best brushless one-handed recip saws on the market. This looks to be a fantastic deal bundle.

Milwaukee 106pc Mechanics Tool Set with Packout Case – $219.97
This highly portable mechanics tool set gives you 1/4″ and 3/8″ drive ratchets and sockets in both SAE and metric sizes with a stackable (if desired) Packout case. The trays are also removable, if you prefer to keep them in a drawer.

Ryobi 18V 12-Tool Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit – $579
If you’re not sure which cordless power tools you’ll need for your next x-number of home or DIY projects, this might be the kit for you.

Dewalt Sliding Miter Saw with Folding Stand – $459
This bundle deal gives you the Dewalt DWS799 12″ sliding miter saw, currently a $399 special buy, and the DWX724 miter saw stand that retails for $229 by itself. Seems like a great pairing at a significant discount.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Plunge Track Saw Kit – $469
This seems like a great price on the Milwaukee track saw kit. You’ll probably want to pick up a guide rail too, which isn’t included.

Dewalt 168pc Mechanics Tool Set – $113
This Dewalt tool and socket set gives you 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ sizes. If you want to spend less, Amazon has a 108pc set for $69, and if you need more, Amazon has a 192pc set for $154.

Ryobi 18V HP Cordless Miter Saw Kit with Folding Stand – $319
This is Ryobi’s 18V One+ HP brushless cordless 10″ sliding miter saw – I’d say their best cordless miter saw – with a battery, charger, and folding stand. It’s hard to beat the price or value of what you get here.

Ryobi 18V HP Brushless Chainsaw Kit – $199
This seems to be a well-regarded compact chainsaw.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Cordless Angle Grinder with Battery and Charger – $149
This bundle gives you the M18 Fuel 4-1/2″ / 5″ brushless angle grinder, a battery, and a charger. If you want a second 5Ah battery, consider the starter kit with free tool option for $50 more.
There are so many more deals included in today’s flash sale. Check them out and keep in mind that supplies might be limited.
These deals end at 3am ET 11/30/24, unless supplies sell out sooner.

I have Chase Freedom, but think this applies to any Chase credit card. In the “Shop and earn bonus points” part of the rewards section in-app, Home Depot is offered with 5% bonus points back. Believe this is on top of the normal 1% or whatever your card offers.
By the way, Stuart, is the Ohio Power Tool $50 of $200+ Milwaukee a mistype in the other BF post? I don’t see it advertised and cannot get it to apply to my cart. Tried adding random non sale items to see if it was a stacking problem but still can’t get it. Don’t see it listed on OPTs home page (or Google search) either.
Stuart
That deal is LIVE NOW at Ohio Power Tools. This is the email I received from them directly to help my BF deal content prep:
Milwaukee FLASH SALE – Black Friday Blowout! $50 Off $200+ on Tons of In Stock Milwaukee
$50 Off $200+ on Tons of In Stock Milwaukee | 11/29 – 12/1 | Limited quantities available. Valid on in stock items only through 12pm EST 12/1/2024 or while supplies last.
Sorry, upon checking the details, it started at 8am today. Most deals start at 12am or 3am ET, and I missed that detail in another part of the email.
Tool Nut also has 15% off up to $50 savings for the first 300 shoppers.

Ohio Power Tool’s $50 off $200 Milwaukee deal applies to “tons” but not all Milwaukee items.
You need to click “Shop the Deal” to see the full list of eligible items.
For example, the M18 Brad nailer is already $50 off ($249 sale vs $299 list), so is not eligible.
Even some non-discounted items aren’t included. For example, the M18 Fuel barrel grip jigsaw* ($199
list) doesn’t trigger the $50 off, even when my cart includes another eligible item to bring my total over $200.
* BTW I just picked up this up for $149 at Acme.
John
Oops!
Meant to say I bought it from Way Source, a Brooklyn retailer, not Acme. Arrived quickly and nicely packaged.

Ah! The one time I wake up in the middle of the night to look for deals! Looks like the items I’m after are not covered by the sale, bummer. I was surprised I could not find mention of the sale across their entire site (at 5am ET), so had to ask.
The ToolNut promo must have started after 5am also, as it was not applying to my cart this morning either. I’m sure they long burned through 300 orders by now.
Great deal coverage, as always!
Stuart
Thanks! Sorry – I think the in-stock limitation is to protect against resellers and huge backorder list. I’m keeping my eyes open for less restricted coupon offers, but I’m not sure we’ll see a lot of them this season.
I’ve been talking with some retail contacts, and reselling has become a big problem, with huge reseller orders depleting their inventory and blocking legit user-type customers from getting in on promos.
The resellers are then flipping the tools on Amazon. Brands don’t seem to care, because they get paid the same either way.
Scott F
Oh no need for apologies, I had my chance with Acme’s EARLYBF deal yesterday and rolled the dice – my own fault! Nothing is that critical this year, I already got my angle grinder!
…but the M12 Caulk gun, grease gun, and under-hood-light are calling my name with the free 2.5Ah HO batteries, if I can get a promotion to stack on top. Looks like the free 2.5Ah deal is slated until Feb 2025 (or while supplies last), so I suspect there will be plenty more opportunity. I do not have any of those batteries yet and suspect they’re a sweet spot of form factor/energy density for many M12 uses – love my 1.5/2.0’s
Don
I already dealt with getting baited by Home Depot for their 3 pack of Dewalt batteries for $99. I’m not doing any more shopping. Our Home Depot never even got any to sell. My money looks good in my wallet. Never gonna be stupid enough to do this Black Friday nonsense again.
Trt
Same deal here on the flex volt circular saw deal. In the home Depot app the flyer links to a saw, 9ah battery and charger for $149.
Get to the store and it appears to be the tool only for 149. Pull up the flyer on home Depot wifi and it now links to the tool only version.
Come back home kill the home Depot app and it’s magically linking back to the full saw, battery and charger kit.
Paul
Now Milwaukee 1/2” impact wrench is on sale, should I return the Dewalt impact wrench package that I just purchased that was also on sale? Thanks
Stuart
If you’re open to making a return, I’d say order the Milwaukee also (check its return policy first), think it over, and then cancel or return the one you don’t want.
Personally, I would probably choose the M18 Fuel over the Atomic, but they’re both excellent tools and very good deals. https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/dewalt-impact-wrench-kit-deal-dcf921p1/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
Paul Harden
Thanks, I’m following your advice and getting both. I’ll probably end up returning the DeWalt as I have all Milwaukee tools now. I truly appreciate all the work you do to make ToolGuyd what it is. Very helpful!
Happy Holidays, Paul
Evan
Hi Paul and Stuart! I was trying to make the same choice between the Dewalt 921, which I ordered already, and the new Milwaukee mid-torque deal. Hard decision!
Stuart
The website is reporting that there are thousands in stock for shipping, and I so I’m guessing it will be a frequent addition to HD’s deals of the day in December. Maybe. Or this could be the last time we’ll see it.
The choice is a very tough one, and the answer really depends on a lot of personal preferences and plans, as this could extend from being a choice between 2 impact wrench kits to being a choice between 2 very different and highly competitive cordless power tool systems.
It’s not an easy decision, and – as long as you’re okay going through the hassle of a return – getting both allows for different decision-making processes.
Instead of “oh no, that deal’s gonna end, but is it a better deal?”, it shifts to “I’ve got both boxes in my workshop/living room/etc, which do I want to keep?”
I find that this type of choice can be a little easier, as the sense or urgency is at least mostly removed from consideration.
Evan
Thank you all for your ideas! I ended up ordering the fuel 1/2″
mid torque as well as the Dewalt 921 and have been doing a lot of research on both tools since BF. I believe I will keep the Milwaukee mid torque and return the Dewalt because, although both could likely do everything I attempt, I am likely to see more situations where the Milwaukee power will come in handy and Im not sure the additional 1 inch of length or additional weight over the Dewalt will prevent me from reaching any fasteners in practice with the types of jobs I am doing. Also Milwaukee has a longer warranty. Woohoo! Thank you!

I’m seeing 25% off any one non-sale item from Rockler
Also 10% off from Woodturning Store, it seems to apply to most items but is capped at $50.

Don’t know where else to put this but ace has great deal on m18 chainsaw, blower, and starter kit. https://www.acehardware.com/departments/lawn-and-garden/outdoor-power-equipment/chainsaws/7042096

Home Depot has it too now that I looked.

Looks like Acme has 15% off most if not all Bessey clamps, with some of them having further discounts.
