Home Depot has a New Deal on Essential Milwaukee Electrical Tools

Milwaukee 3pc Electrical Tool Kit at Home Depot for Black Friday 2024

I stopped by my local Home Depot store to see if they added any new tool deals, and it’s good thing I did – there was a brand new display of Milwaukee electrical hand tools that wasn’t there last week.

This special hand tool kit features 3 Milwaukee electrical tools for $24.88 – 9″ high leverage lineman’s pliers with crimper, 10-22 AWH wire stripper with curved cutter, and an 11-in-1 multi-bit screwdriver.

Milwaukee Electrical Hand Tool Kit 48-22-3097

Let’s price out what you get with this kit, model 48-22-3097:

  • 9″ high leverage lineman’s pliers with crimper (48-22-6100)
    • $24.97 at Home Depot
  • Wire strippers (48-22-6109)
    • $18.97 at Home Depot
  • Multi-bit screwdriver (48-22-2761)
    • $9.97 at Home Depot

It seems that you’re basically buying the lineman’s pliers and getting the 2 other tools for free. Or, if you add everything up, you’re getting around $54 worth of tools for $25. Home Depot’s claim that you’re getting $55 in value takes into account the regular price of the screwdriver.

I checked other retails, just to be sure, and it does look like you get $54-55 worth of tools. This looks like a HOT deal to me, with more than 50% savings.

I’d say this is a good value for DIYers or budding electricians looking to stretch their budget as far as it’ll go. Maybe it’s also good for “beater” tools for when you want to baby your more premium gear.

Price: $24.88

Have you seen any discounts on Milwaukee USA-made hand tools recently?

Not specifically. However, coupon offers at independent tool dealers will likely apply – check Acme Tools on Cyber Monday. Ohio Power Tool also sometimes has coupons that apply to Milwaukee hand tools.

The 6 in 1 wire stripper is one of my favorite tools. I’m an industrial maintenance tech and one of my favorite team leads and mentor over the years showed me them early on and I’ve had a few pairs since. Absolutely will grab another pair when I’m out near Home Depot again.

The set looks like a great deal too.

I haven’t seen it in a post but at Lowe’s there is a Craftsman hi viz 6 in 1 screwdriver for 5.98$. Less versatile than the 11 in 1 but the hi viz is nice and the handle is very comfortable in my opinion.

(Here’s a link to the Craftsman Hi-Vis screwdriver at Lowe’s. They also have matching hi-vis tape measures.)

An 11-in-1 is “less versatile” but also a lot less fiddly. A 6-in-1 hits the sweet spot for me.

That reminds me of how mad my old boss would get using my 11 in 1. He had the same screwdriver, but different bit placement. Drove him nuts!
