Home Depot has a pretty good deal going on right now if you’re in the market for a new drill. Simply bring your old, used, or broken power drill to your nearest Home Depot location between now and 11/8/09, and receive a 15% discount off of a new Lithium-ion cordless drill.

Check out Home Depot’s promo page for full details.

(Word of warning: before you take advantage of this offer, consider that there may be a better deal or discount on cordless drills during the upcoming winter holiday shopping season.)

I saw this ad on tv. I was thinking it might not be a bad idea to get some free or broken drills off craigslist and use them to trade.

I do agree that the Christmas sales will probably beat any deal you would get by trade in.

Went to a local store and was really excited for a second. They had the ads posted in front of all the 4 piece kits. The employee brought the coupon and the deal is only for single drills.

No. This trade-in event expired 10 years ago.
